These Origins of Snake Eyes issues always hit me right in the heart. Great voice work. These issues should have been adapted for the Snake Eyes Origins movie.
Thanks so very much! I agree...Snake Eyes' back story was so moving, full of heartbreak and melancholy. THIS is the story we should have had movies about!
@@dshay7gamingandcomics It's frustrating. At least the story will always be there in the comic. I just wish the broader public could be exposed to it, which a movie could have achieved.
Because I haven't bought the back issues yet I've been wanting to read the Origin of Snake Eyes for forty years. I thank you guys for finally giving me this opportunity.
Credits Correction: Tilman Goins didn't voice Steeler in this issue (as Steeler isn't in it), but rather he voiced the kid who yells "Moon Knight!" and the kid with his Mom. So sorry about that, my friend!
Thanks! I try to stay loyal to my voice actors once I cast them, just because I think they deserve it for taking the time to work on it. However, if you’d like to audition for something, find me on one of the GI Joe FB groups and shoot me a message. There are plenty of characters being introduced in nearly every issue!
I wouldn't do Storm Shadow's voice like the cartoon. I remember me and my friends thinking he sounded old and cheesy, not what we were expecting from the comics. He should sound like a young Larry Hama in my opinion.
And boy does the gun control stuff apply still. I sell guns for a living and we are constantly under attack by politicians G.I. Joe is what made me interested in firearms, Hamas details with guns, made me want to know more
Hama was so full of details. Reading these as a kid, you miss a lot or don't understand all that he's talking about. But going back and re-reading (or watching) these as an adult has shown me just how much realism he brought to the table. Side note: Thank you for keeping that 2nd Ammendment going! Respect!
Correct, listening/watching this now, there is substantially more adult context than what I saw as a 9 and 10 year old kid. I find it interesting going back to stuff as an adult, you start seeing very different perspectives and motivations
Love Michael Golden's beautiful covers on GI Joe. His and Mike Zeck's art still blow me away.
Yeah, there are certain covers that really stand out to me because of the artwork. They had a fantastic team working on these beloved comics!
Damn the audio on this is great.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate you watching!

Happy I got to contribute to this! Such a cool project. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
Great job as always, my friend! These videos are only as good as those participating in them!

My absolute pleasure! I’ve just always thought that Larry Hama’s story was the best. It just needed to be brought to life.
Thank you so much for all the work and effort that you put into this series. Your passion for this project shows in every scene.
Thank you so much! It is definitely a labor of love, but I’m so glad others enjoy it!

Phenominal work on this one team! Keep em coming.. Yo Joe!
Thanks so much! Stay tuned, another dropping soon!
WOW, THANK YOU.
That ending between the Sword Brothers!
Better than any of the Live Action Movies

This is amazing. So much better than movie disaster.
Larry Hama’s story is so moving and deep…I don’t know why Hollywood thinks they can improve upon it.
Very creative! Keep up!
Thanks so much!
Do you do voice work? I need some for a videogame
Other than these videos, no. But I do sing and play music for a living, so I guess that's kinda "voice work". :)
YOU ALL CRUSHED IT
@@ManlyStubrick Thank you! So glad to hear that you’re enjoying these classic issues!
Moon Knight!!

@@breachfirearms5753 Definitely. I think his attention to detail and honesty is part of what made the story so compelling, even to this day.
