I have no intention on opening a shop or doin nails for a living. But I just 2 days ago decide I wanted to try start doin nails for the family, for fun, and after watching this video (even tho I already have the items in my Amazon cart lol) after watching this video, I could say I'm sold. I'm hitting order right now. I live in the Caribbean BTW lol
Tysm for the video! I just graduated from nail tech school and base coat is only used to lengthen the life of gel polish on your natural nails. There's no need to use it on tips, BIAB, or acrylic 😊💝
I keep my nails short but I loooove a clean cuticle! This was so cozy and relaxing. They came out great, and I love the nod to fall 😊 I'm looking at a few colors to add to my docket.
I have practiced this method about 2 years and I love it. The longer times that I have had them it's 1 month. It's not good to have them so long but they work really good for me. And make you save a lot money.
thankyou! i have been struggling with gel extensions, i’m used to acrylic. and my gels wouldn’t stay put and this has helped me loads! i’ve subbed! thank u!!
I'm learning how to do gel nails on myself and have been STRUGGLING with an overflowing cuticle and excess gel at the natural edge because I don't have a gooseneck lamp, but this taught me SOOOOOOO much!!! Thank you for the tips!!!
You are so cute! And your nails turned out great! I’m self taught as well but I rarely do any nail designs. I usually just use semi cured gel nails if I want a design. I just don’t have time.
Loved your design and tut! I don’t use base coat with gel x nails either, mostly cause the nail extension itself is made out of gel so a base coat isn’t really needed in my opinion!
I agree. I do, however, use a basecoat with my applications because I do fill-ins most of the time and it helps to remove the color without me filing down to actual nail too much. Pretty much acting as a barrier but if I am going to soak off and do a new application I don't bother to apply.
Now I see why my gel nails pop off. I am not applying enough glue and the most I did to prep my nails was buff it to remove oil and made the gel nail gritty inside, but I'm going to try these extra steps. Thank you for this detailed video
I've just discovered your channel, it's very useful. Could you please show us on another video how you remove these gel nail extensions? Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏
Hi and welcome to my channel! Of course I can make a full video on this soon ☺️ in the mean time I do have a quick Shorts video on how I remove them ➡️ th-cam.com/users/shorts-dagO5vEkm0?feature=share

I have a question? Today is Wednesday August 7. I just did a complete new set of nail extensions. Using Beetles full nail tips and gel glue. I want to send a snap shot. Of white film under the nails. I’m was wondering if you could tell me what I did ! The only thing I did different was I put primer instead of using the Efile
Hello dear , please I need your advice , the kit that I have from barbie mirage they have pH bond , primer , base glue , tip I did the same technique on the video , but they fell up after 3 or 4 days some times 1 week , can I know what is the problem thank you
i love this video sooo much, but how do you do this with your non dominant hand your so good at it but I have really shakey hands already so I'm afraid that it will look bad.
Beautiful design and great suggestions to make nails last longer and look more natural! Do you like your e-file? I have one from many many years ago and it doesn’t seem very strong but I’m thinking all of the cheap ones meant for homes are like that 🤷♀️
Hello 😊. Question i but my nails really bad and I tried doing gel x nails like 4 times but they come off the next day. I was wondering if it’s because I bit my nails so bad? Is there anything I can do for them to last longer ?
Im not exactly sure but I am a pretty bad nail biter and they always last more than just a few days. As long as there is still natural nail left, enough to be covered my a nail tip and you’re doing proper nail prep and application, the extensions should stay. What does your nail prep consist of?
Sorry for the late reply but you couldddd but I definitely don’t recommend. It’ll be hard for the curing light to pass through the design and cure the gel extension glue underneath. If that glue is not cured completely your nails won’t stay long at all
Usually at least 3 weeks. Sometimes more and sometimes I’ll have a few pop off before 3 weeks. I’m currently trying to figure the best application method for retention so I can get a solid 4 weeks every time
Omg your amazing! I ordered my items on Amazon to do my own nails. Question - how long do you leave the nails under the UV lamp when your applying the nails with the glue and when you paint it? Plssss lmk I don’t wanna over due it
Hi! For polish it’s usually 30-60 secs but every polish should come with specific instructions. When I’m applying the nails I make sure to stick my entire hand under the lamp for a solid 60 secs
@YalianaEnid the only problem I have with these type of nails are how flimsy the ends are compared to how acrylic is. How would you fix that what do you think about that what would you do?
That's what I came to comments to see if anyone spoke about this. I've had my nails done for YEARS and I wear pre-designed tips but the acrylic is over the entire nail. My nail & the tips which makes it a complete hard nail. Not flimsy. Then gel over the entire nail. I'm struggling to understand how she wears them like this. Won't they break all day??? 🤷🏾♀️
Hi! I don’t recommend bc it’s going to be hard to completely cure the gel extension glue underneath. If the glue is not cured completely it can cause infection
From thumb to pinky I’m usually a 1,6,5,6,8 ☺️ finding the correct sizes is key! And also placement. Try not to shove it to close or under your cuticle and if your tips are too wide make sure to file them down before applying!
It happens, especially if there's too much gel and/or there's gel on your skin. It's called a heat spike. If it happens, keep taking your hand in and out of the lamp until it stops. Just make sure you cure it enough

@@charmlucky207 Apres are made entirely of gel, they are durable, flexible & basically unbreakable. You can bend a tip in half real hard & it will crease but won’t break.
Did you see a difference in using gel X prep instead of filing the nail and putting extend gel on the natural nail before the tip ? Because I think I want to try it, but only if it’s more effective
Hi! your nails turned out soo pretty!! I have a question, when you apply the last top coat, do you clean it after? or just cure it and leave it as it is?
I cure it and leave it as it because it is a “non wipe” top coat made specifically so there is no sticky residue! With regular top coat you will have to wipe that layer off
I got it from my local nail supply. Edit: I looked at a video of the box it came in and it didn’t even have a brand name 😏 just said cordless nail drill. But I get my drill bits from Amazon and will be linking them soon
Thanks for watching! At first I flash cure each nail for 10-15 secs then always cure my whole hand for 60 secs after all the nails are on and after every coat of polish that I use
