Thanks for explaining in depth what each product actually does, making it easier for us that are “beginners”. I definitely understand how to do my own much better now ! Thanks 🙏🏼! Wish me luck, because I’m tired of spending so much money at the nail salon 🤦🏻♀️
I just want to compliment your video production and performance. Very good timing and I appreciate the repetition with both hands. Your voice and hands are lovely!
Love everything from your backdrop, to seeing your fur baby in the background. Also, let me just say this, you always do an excellent job with your nails! 🤎
I'm a guy with very thin nails that tear easily, and I've been thinking of using gel polish to thicken & toughen them up a bit. This video was very helpful even though I don't plan on extensions :) Great video and awesome teacher!
Thin nails need minerals. Most people think it is calcium and this is not enough. Take 40 mg zinc, 30 mg biotin and get a decent dosage of selenium supplement with vit A, C, And E. (I recommend Wassen or solgar brand) Also massage vitamin E, taken from a vitamin E capsule into all cuticles daily and add a couple drops of caster on with it too. Basically use a pin pop the capsule onto a saucers, add couple drops caster oil mix with same pin, then dab with each finger and massage in. But it will be supplements that heals nails. If have a fungal infection then adding a bit of tea tree oil to the massage bit will also help. (It's usually longt term false nail use that can cause fungal infections, it doesn't sound like you do but I mention it for others) Good luck. ❤
Also have your thyroid function tested and look into increasing your iodine intake with particular fòods in first instance. Google "foods high in iodine ". If you are on thyroid meds do research on taking iodine as a supliment. Trust me using hash nail extention chemicals on your nails will not help them at all. People with strong high keratin nails naturally even get damage with acrylic extentions and also have to have rest breaks with gel ones. Research well. But start with chemistry and biochemistry, not beauty. I speak from experience and qualifications in said subjects. Take care.
I do the SAME thing at home and I'm not a professional!! I started doing them myself bc it was costing too much every month to get them done, so I ordered everything from Amazon and do my own at home!! Plus I work at a salon and day spa so I watch and learn everything they do and ask questions!!
I did this exact combination the first time I did my nails and added a few sparkly diamantes to it as well. I got so many compliments that not many people thought I did it on my own. It's one of the best hacks ever using eyeshadow. 😊😊😊😊
That’s me too. Lots of time watching tutorials, lots of practice and patience. It’s therapeutic for me and I love my beautiful nails! ❤️I’m so happy to hear you say that it takes you hours to do your nails, I thought I was just really slow. 😅. I’ve used eyeshadow, I find them in the clearance sections, very easy!
I was doing the process so wrong . Watching your video I learned so much . Will be purchasing exactly what you’re using all the products . dehydration primer in the glue. I have the other things . Thank you so much for this video ! ❤
I absolutely LOVE how this turned out!! 😍😍😍 thank you so much for sharing, even the learning curves that you had to get over! I’m so excited to dive into doing my own nails and trying out this hack. Stay blessed 😇❤️
Hey love! I’m actually interested in trying gel x nails on myself and came across your video. Very informative btw! For the eyeshadow hack, apply a matte top coat before applying the eyeshadows and then glossy top coat to finish it off. That is the method I use for my press on nails when I do ombré or blush nail designs! Hope that helps!
Great tutorial! What is the best nail bit for the cuticle area? Fine or extra fine? And which one is best for when removing your nails? Is it coarse? I like the one you used here but not sure which one it was. Thank you!!
Very pretty design! I also liked the stickers. I wondered if you had applied builder gel over the stickers, if that would have hid what you didn’t like about the stickers. 🤔
I'm new to doing my nails myself and I first tried the polygel and duo form method which didn't work well for me. I suspect it's because I didn't clean my cuticles well enough because I don't have a nail drill right now. But I'm very excited about the use of eyeshadow for nail design. I'm a makeup Lover and I actually have the Ace Beaute Nostalgia palette that you used 😂. But I can't wait to try it with my Pat McGrath palette!
Wow I feel like you went for the hardest thing as a beginner. Kudos to you. I need to start out smaller lol. It looks like you have to practice a lot from what I'm getting watching these tutorials. As a complete beginner, I'm just trying my best to get the application of it so down first before I worry about different designs. I think I'm just going to practice on nail prep and how to properly put extentions on. I can't wait to move into doing different designs. For now, I'm keeping it simple by just painting them so I can perfect the beginning parts
I hate stickers because I can see the edge of it and I will try to pick at it! Thank you for the information I have a Gel x kit but have not tried it yet but I think I will try it next round of nails!
The brand is MaGiLL, and model might be 35000 rpm black, if you have a doubt, you can do a screenshot and check on Google lens ☺️❤️ thanks for your content i love it, just as your Latin kindless. ¡Besos 😂!
Hello I noticed that after soaking my nails in 100% acetone my natural nails look as through they are Lifting what can I do to prevent this from happening. Appreciate any feed background
Hi i also do my own gel x nail extensions I absolutely loved your videos but I think you should go one size up with the nail tips and that is because the nail tips should cover side wall to side wall. That way your extensions would last longer. No hate just giving some advice 🫶🏻
I forget the name of it bc I bought it at a local supply shop but I’ve shared a similar one on my storefront! Great work and great video. I am a professional nail tech and own a nail salon and believe when i say you did a great job. I also posted a tutorial video on this topic too. ❤
I appreciate that you showed your mistakes (like needing the tacky layer back) and how you then fixed them in real time.

Yes they’re strong while the polish is on but when removing, they will be thin again!!!
Use biab, that will work

I did this exact combination the first time I did my nails and added a few sparkly diamantes to it as well. I got so many compliments that not many people thought I did it on my own. It's one of the best hacks ever using eyeshadow. 😊😊😊😊

Thank you for another great video 🌸🫶🏻 your nails turned out beautiful 🤩🌸
Thank you for watching! 🤍
Your cuticles look good
Add oil to the acetone 😁😁😁
A great way to protect your skin if using the soak off method is to apply a thin layer of vaseline ;) thank you for a great tutorial x
That’s a great tip! Thank you 🙌🏽
i loved the finished look! How long do your gel x nails last with this application? tysm ❤️
I usually get at least a good three weeks ☺️
Amazing video!!!!! I'm going to start doing my own nails
Thanks for watching!!
❤nice vidéo you explain so nice ❤
Do you have a list and link of the products you use to apply the nails and infill please.
26:37 I like this. It came out really pretty. However, how did you not get eyeshadow on your top coat brush?
I did get some shadow on the polish 😏
I have the same eyeshadow Im going to try
Hope you like! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Have a nice day
Just a tip...if you want to take off a cured sticker take a 180 file or 220 buffer and lightly file/buff off.💜
I couldn’t understand what you put on the nails before the eyeshadow and did you cure it before adding the eyeshadow
I hate stickers because I can see the edge of it and I will try to pick at it! Thank you for the information I have a Gel x kit but have not tried it yet but I think I will try it next round of nails!

hi, is it possible to glue the tips with ordinary glue for tips?
very pretty im more so into overlays and that finish of the extend gel looks so good. when u applied the second coat of gel polish did u cure ?
Hi! ☺️ Yup I cure after every coat
Hello I noticed that after soaking my nails in 100% acetone my natural nails look as through they are Lifting what can I do to prevent this from happening. Appreciate any feed background
You are stunning your hair youur nails you are always amaloyour videos you are a good sweet person
If I don't have the light for the flash curing of each nail, can I just use the large uv light that you use on your whole hand?
Yeah! Works the same ☺️
@YalianaEnid thank you! Do I just do it for 30 sec on the big one?
Looove this look. It's good to know that you can use eyeshadow because now, i can use eyeshadow colors that i never use on my eyelids. 😁 🤍
Exactly! I always buy shadow and never actually use it. Now I have another way yo use it 🙌🏽
can acetone work for etching the inside of the gel tips?
Hey! Amazing video! Do you e file your nails in reverse or backwards? I really neeeed to know! Thank you!
How many hours to do them??
If I order the nail kit will it come with the primer and everything I need
Hi i also do my own gel x nail extensions I absolutely loved your videos but I think you should go one size up with the nail tips and that is because the nail tips should cover side wall to side wall. That way your extensions would last longer. No hate just giving some advice 🫶🏻
omg so beautiful girl keep up the good work maybe ill come visit you and book an appointment, god bless have a good day
it is okey if you did not use a base coat gel?
Hi so u ,do use that bonder then primer ? Before applying the nails
Yup! Bonder then primer ☺️
Also how do you remove the tips???
Why do you put a thin layer on your nail and not just put the gelx tip? Just curious 🧐
I hope I will learn how to do this
You should put cuticle oil around your skin before you put it in the acetone it protects your skin doesn't affect the acetone taken off the gel.
lindo trabajooo
What type of drill are you using?
I forget the name of it bc I bought it at a local supply shop but I’ve shared a similar one on my storefront! Same drill I have. Bought on Temu for 25
I have really large nail beds. Do you know of a company that specifically cater to large nail beds?

Can you tell the name of gel X tips again ?
How do you remove
Thank you for the video. But I have a good tips if you are beginner, like me… and it helps a lot… I work only in one hand from start to finish… then I do the other one.
i never go higher than 2-5 when working on my natural nails to reduce damage
Makartt Cordless Nail Drill 35000RPM
You are so damn beautiful your hair is so gorgeous You are lookn stunning babe 🌹❤😍
I m sorry why did you have to put glue and cure, couldnt you justcure with the nails instead putting 2 times glue?
