Great interview, lots of interesting information was given by Martyn and Carl. Thanks for the shout out too 😁, the way they both looked at each other i dont think they've seen any of my stuff 🤣🤣
Thank you very much for taking the time to do this interview- it’s great to hear directly from Hornby where this lovely scale is going and I can’t wait for the next announcements 👍🏻
great interview. 3 interesting bits of info released: -J50 will have space for speaker. - power bank version 2 will be 30-40% smaller - of the locos in design we have at least 1 not in the current plan.
A 6 pin decoder with sound and a smaller stay-alive sound good. Any news on the non-sound N18 chip for HM7000? How big will it be, since the sound version is too big to fit into my Roco and Arnold German locos. Still no news on a turntable?
Hi, for information regarding BR standards, some of the Standard 5's were green, usually the ones on the SR which later received ex King Arthur names. Also some of the Standard 2-6-2 tanks received lined green then just plain green. Some interesting comments there, it surprised me how quick a model can be designed to having it on the shelf.
The man himself with the models and the knowledge. It did occur to me after filming there had been a few in green but I wasent sure if that was BR era or a heritage livery. Now I know 😋
@@LetsMakeTracks2023 thanks for the mention during the interview. Thanks again for your comment. I did not think Hornby would start to sell spares as a chassis, body, etc as those days seemed to disappear once Margate production ceased but it was worth asking.
@@garryhall5552 No worrys, It is a shame not being able to purchase certain parts seperalty. Currently I have a spread sheet of Projects and doner models that always seams to be changing.
@@LetsMakeTracks2023 I think I have run out of locos to use the A1 chassis now with Peppercorn A1 and 2's, V2, Brit, B12, rebuilt and unrebuilt W/C's, A5 tank, Stanier 2-6-4 tank, Lord Nelson. I have today just received some transfers for the Duchess and it is not yet available.
I think Hornby consistently under rate how popular BR Blue is both in OO and TT120. Id hoped that changed when Simon Kohler moved off , but I think we are seeing more of the same . So the items that are selling really well were the blue 08 and HST . So what does that say ………. As I understand it the forthcoming 37 will only be available in green and EWS, while the livery that would really sell is large logo blue . How about the forthcoming 47 in blue and blue grey Mk1s . A cohesive range would certainly get TT120 established more quickly . Well done to the guys for interacting with the community though and for yourself setting it up
Thank you. I do agree Blue 08 was an odd choice of the three, But It may be as simple as its the first to clear the current stock so instead of waiting for one of the others to sell out roll on with BR Green as was mentioned.

DDC Concepts has now released a smaller powerbank for stay alive tt120 locos
Indeed, Good news for all scales 🙂
Great interview mate enjoyed it and enjoying TT120
Glad to hear it 👍
very interesting, the smaller stay alive made my ears prick up!
Indeed, That is a fantastic upgrade.
