Shippment internationally from Asia etc.: I totally agree with you on it. It´s not worth the hassle. And the plants are going to be available in a few years here anyway, if they get popular, so why to bother. Plants that ship well in my experience: aglaonema, monstera, some alocasia. I´m sure ZZ, haworthia (both nearly undestroyable) and hoya would do well too. Plants that hate shipping in my experience: calathea and some other marantaceae (they seem happy to die, esp. if one touches their roots too soon), begonia (they got moldy and had fungal issues because the seller packed them in plastic), peperomia (they break easily).
Yes i get the urges! I'm thinking ecuagenera to keep my autumn/winter blues at bay but trying so hard to resist

The helleniae is pretty, but shipping from abroad is something I will probably never do
I'm sure Philo Rubrijuvenile is not on your list, that one doesn't even like moving rooms. 😂😂
