I think the reason for it not turning completely colourless is due to less surface area for adsorption since the solution is poured directly onto the surface, i think if the solution was passed through the charcoal then it might have given better results. Btw the video was really wonderful!
I wonder if, after a treatment with alumina, activated carbon would be useful to treat laundry wastewaters in order to eliminate surfactants and detergents.
Thank you for your question. Our company has not made any tests on this and therefore cannot report any practical experience. Basically, activated alumina (aluminum oxide) is used for the removal of polar, hydrophilic organic substances. Activated carbon is a preferred filter material for the separation of hydrophobic organic compounds. Adsorber resins are also used to remove tensides. Thank you again for your interest. Your HUESKER team.
For desorption of methylene blue, the activated carbon can be doused with ethanol. Do not forget to collect the filtrate. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your HUESKER team.
@@amirhosseinghanbari5075 We can offer you activated carbon in combination with our geotextiles - our active geocomposite Tektoseal Active AC. With this product you can install activated carbon on large areas and with a constant layer thickness, the activated carbon always stays safely in place and absorbs pollutants where they occur. Interesting for you? You can also find more information on our website. We would be pleased to support you in one of your projects. Your HUESKER team.
Thank you for your question. 😉 Diesel will block the surface of activated carbon. As a result, the surface is not available to sorb target compounds. Best regards, your HUESKER-team.
This depends very much on the inner surface area of activated carbon (AC). The surface are of an AC from coconut shells is higher than from an AC made of wood, for example. When you know the expected concentration of the components, the amount of activated carbon required can be calculated. Greetings from HUESKER Team.
Thank you for your question. 🙂 🤝 The use of impregnated activated carbon makes it possible to adsorb Hg. With a sufficiently long contact time, Hg is thus effectively absorbed. Your HUESKER team.

Thanks a lot for the demonstration
Please what is the name of the apparatus used for the experiment
Very good

@@HUESKERGroup Thanks for the answer!
Nice
Hi, could you share me the papper of the medology?
Thank you very much, how we can regenerate the AC capacity again to absorbed MB?

Will this method adsorb dye from marked diesel?😅

Great
hello, how do we know how many percent GAC binding the component?

PLEASE SAY HOW TO MAKE ACTIVATED CARBON FROM COAL B CHEMICAL ACTIVATION
Did u get the method?
Amount of methylene blue in 1litre of solution??
Many thanks for your interest and your questions! 🙂 Some drops are enough to color the water and to see the effect.Your HUESKER team
