Activated carbon production

Activated or active carbons are porous carbon materials used by humans as sorbents since ancient times. Due to its properties -developed inner surface, wide range of pores and high strength, active carbons found application in many industries: gas and oil refining, chemical, mining and food, in medicine and water purification, and other processes related to environmental protection and human health. A variety of carbonaceous materials - peat, wood, fossil coals, coconut shell, a fruit seed, and even waste plastics - can be used as raw materials for the production of activated carbon.
Currently JSC Sorbent offers a wide range of activated carbons to its customers and satisfies their highest demands. Our company produces the following types of activated carbons:
