    Every time I practice the quick overhead swings, it makes my hands itch and burn, any explanation?

      I understand that, sorry. Is there any way to circumvent that? Is that something that continues as long as you train?

      @@thaddeus1089 Take a run and break a sweat before you start swinging will help, but basically the phenomenon that annoys you is something which is supposed to happen. It's one of the reasons that everybody is not already good at this.

      I practice Tongbeiquan and we have a similar swinging arms training. It is normal to experience heat, swelling, itching and numbness when swinging arms, but the sensations disappear with practicse.
      The flow of blood strengthens the hand and arms, and you will have very powerful chops, backfist and palm strikes if you keep at it.
