My wife and I have a daughter that we were told she had Rhett's Syndrome. We later found out it was Pitt Hopkins, which is another rare genetic disorder. I definitely understand the challenges that goes along with raising a child with special needs (she is 20 years old now). From what I can see, both of you are doing an outstanding job as parents. I've really enjoyed watching your channel.
What I liked most about this video was your determination to do this in winter, with a toddler and your wonderful wife. Reminds me of what my dad put us through as kids.
@michael boultinghouse I remember being about 6 years old and my brother was 2, we were stuck in the mud up to the axels high in the mountains on a fishing trip. Dad walked out to get help and left Mom and my brother and I for hours. It seemed he always took us where no one else was. Lots of adventures.
I for sure did not start watching this channel to see a youngster get parented, but as a dad whose been on plenty of road trips with his son and wife, you two are awesome with that young man! The patience you both, but especially Tory from how this is edited, show for that little one is to be admired and called out for its purity! Thanks for being great parents!
If you never experience it, you haven't lived!! Mile '0', my goosebumps jumped, because i knew you would see the ultimate scenery of Western Canada! Come back in June!! Whole different world! Cheers!
The thing I liked most was that you gave an unvarnished, straight from the hip, no excuses, all the good, the bad, and the ugly, and with a smile glimpse into an adventure on the road that Tori is rocking with the Tacoma, and all the real life stuff like: cooking, breaking down, driving, boredom, excitement, beautiful country views, because a lot of people are craving some real life stuff. Way more people should be seeing all of your videos. Thanks for making all of these.

Just a Canadian family. Doing Canadian family things... Traveling with a toddler and winter roadside camping is pretty much a right of passage around here....
In 1968 We , a family of 8 Dad , Mom and 6 boys traveled from Wainfleet Ontario to the Yukon in a1960 Mercury car with a trailer and gear and a 9 man military field tent ,we went to near the Takini Hot springs where we spent the summer building the ground for Yukon Game farm I was 16 when we had our picture taken on the Mile 0 Cairn Incredible Country , Incredible adventure..
You have a Beautiful family and I love your videos and your sense of humor. And you are right about people talking about cutting trees they all need not use paper anymore if they don’t like cutting of trees
Thanks for watching! Ya, the tree I cut here was dead but all the trees in that limber yard are destined to be exterior siding. Like people tell me I should cut a dead tree for fire or used a green tree to repair a canoe seat for example. Meanwhile, their entire house is clad with trees cut down from the Canadian wilderness.

Looking forward to episode 4! Fantastic journey so far!
U should pick up a copy of The Milepost, if u don’t have one. It tells u where ALL the gas stations r & absolutely everything else. It’s vital information for driving the Alcan. I come from Alaska (55 years & now retired), so I know what I’m talking about. U might find it in the magazine section of grocery stores & a book store for sure. It’s not cheap, but well worth it! Get one if u don’t have one. Oh forgot, I’ve been over the Alcan more than 30 times....I’m just saying. Good luck & be safe, Patti

Great adventure! I appreciate the time it takes to produce a series like this. I especially like the recipe for making water… bring snow to a simmer!
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed the water tips lol
Great video series. So eager to watch Episode 4. Thank you.
You’re welcome, ya it’s going to be awesome
Thank you Jim n Torry n Wes
Tori, " Jim, are you roasting meat for breakfast?" Jim, " no, I'm just cooking my hands over the stove, cuz my hands are freakin freezing!"
I've been helping my gf raise her pretty heavily autistic son for about 15 years now. It's not always easy, I know, but we've all built a powerful bond in our odd little family. Good luck to you guys.
Thanks a lot for sharing that. I believe Fox G1 is similar to autism in some ways. I just feel that he is a real blessing snd I’m thankful that I was given him.
I did the ALCAN highway from Seattle to Fairbanks. I went up in Nov. and came back down in Jun. great drive, lots of animals.
I'm super impressed with that little trailer. You are just the best parents to Wesley. He's so cute.❤️
More family vids. Nothing tests your mettle more than moralizing how you meet family needs on ADVENTURES 😃😇🤩
Truth! 😊
Many Canadians built the Alaska Highway too. My father in law was one worker. He was from PEI.
Very cool, ya I imagine there were many of course it was spearheaded by the Americans
