Kaidan's banter makes it so much better, so I'm really sad that It didn't show for you. This game can be even more doom and gloom if you miss certain things in previous games, or miss those interrupts. Full renegade run would have me wanting therapy, me thinks 🫠
The Monastery Mission is very intense. Did you notice Kaidan's face during the Elevator escape? You have to look quickly, this mission was tense even for him.

I once was shopping at the grocery store when I heard some dumb kid scream just like a Banshee. It sent a chill down my spine which I didn’t not appreciate.
It's good to do this mission before starting Leviathan, the first time seeing banshees should be here. Why is it Basique Shepard keeps aiming for the Banshee's b00bies? My personal opinion, Infiltrator is strong enough in damage without taking an offensive bonus power, I like taking defensive powers like barrier. When you are running away and turn invisible to get out of danger you can use barrier to instantly replace your shields and not have to wait for invisibility to wear off before your shields regenerate. Plus Kaiden would rather you kept yourself safe so you can rescue him when he goes down.
I don't want to presume anything...are you aware you can click on the different war assets and get descriptions and information or are you just not doing that for the videos?
James may have gotten his own movie which was alright i guess, but Garrus is the 2nd baddest dude in the galaxy behind Shep, and a true bro. Plus, he can solo ME3 by himself with the right build.
Javik's misunderstanding of evolution always bugs me. Cooperation often makes a population more fit. It's not a weakness. Such a common mistake but it's still annoying
Javik is a racist who has only known military state and a policed society. Not saying he’s right (far from it) but it makes sense that he thinks that way. When you think about it, we’ve got the same IRL: racists, and dictators never support cooperation between people. Javik really is well-written.
Idk if anyone has told you, but at the Hospital on the Citadel you can hear a conversation between two Asari, it's long and takes several times going there to hear it all. But the story ends up being about Jokers sister.
55:00 Kaidan and Ashley are kinda stupid. They dont understand much of anything about the galaxy. Especially compared to our other companions. Even Zaeed and Kasumi understand more than these two
Banshee scream is my most hated sound in the whole trilogy. And by far they are the worst enemies Also, I don’t like plothole about them. Samara told us that there were only three ardat-yakshies in existence, but now there are lots of banshees created. Of course there is some explanation in codex that asari with dormant gene can be converted as well, but still.
I don't think its a "plot-hole", I think its just that Samara didn't know there were more ardat-yakshis, since she haven't visited the monastery for a long time even in mass effect 2, she says that after suicide mission she might stumble upon more ardat-yakshis and will have to deal with them
