I recorded the video a few hours after the audio, so numbers don't match up due to market shifts. It really illustrates the importance of doing your own calculations; any calculation that a YTer does in a video is likely outdated by the time of posting.
I kinda skim over this, but on bdolytics Market Cooking page (bdolytics.com/..., you can sort recipes by profit. Just find a few profitable recipes with no bottlenecks (make sure it's a recipe that people buy!) and take the average for a semi-afk time value. You can also search for recipes that use a certain ingredient, like milk or eggs. I got distracted by finding the exact true value of cheese, so I didn't show this in the video.

Yep, or if you do something else with your afk time like processing or alchemy, you can also compare those too.

For a low mastery player would you suggest val subs? I see lion meat so high I thought I should gather and live there 😂

I don't know your exact mastery ("low mastery" is a wide range), your server, or your gathering skill, so I can't suggest or recommend anything. However, Valencia meals are usually one of the more profitable things to do, and if you enjoy gathering lion meat, I'd say go for it!
If you want an exact answer of what's most profitable, you would have to make calculations like in the video. If there's something I didn't explain well, please ask!
