First time I heard this, I froze. This reminded me of my life with my ex husband. Always wondered if life could be better, if I could be treated better. One day, I said enough and left. Now, I get to enjoy beautiful summers with my children and my “new” husband. I’ve never been happier and I’m so glad I dared cross the road 🥰
This gives me hope, my parents divorced 3 years ago when I was 15, I spent all this time being sad about it but if I think of it in the context of that this is the better life on the other side that makes me happier. Thank you for sharing that.

So as of late. I've been in a dark place, i just recently turned 39. I haven't been able to take a day off for four months now, and i started working at the age of 12... and my wife, son, and sister went on a weeks vacation, and came home with a cold, which they gave to me. After a while it gets disheartening to "do the right thing", and yet have bad s*expletive* happen to you. I understand bo's anxiety. As i took today off because of an anxiety attack. Thats not a "day off" in my opinion. It was miserable. Its fine now. But i can't exactly go do what i planned to do today now. Its midnight. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. 🤷♂️
so Bo literally just hit us with a Why did the chicken cross the road joke.
In which the answer is: to get to the other side, but Bo poses the question is the otherside, death, or a better life.

This is one of my favorite Bo songs and what a great reaction. You “get” the deeper meaning of every one of his songs and I appreciate you opening my eyes with all of your reactions.

I feel so dumb sometimes, cause I never in my life thought I’d be crying over a song about a chicken, yet, here we are. I must have listened to this song 30+ times, and I cry almost every time.
Because it’s not just a chicken, your heart and unconscious recognizes it for you
I know you’re somewhat kidding, but it’s important to not name call to yourself or anyone…your brain and unconscious mind is listening…the small chip you create on your soul can begin to grow

Bo Burnham has a way of making everyone who's going through a difficult time feel seen, heard, and not alone. Sometimes it's like he's saying the words that I'm unable to say myself. This song always brings me to tears every time I hear it. Bo is such a treasure. ❤

This is now my favourite song from Inside, make me so emocional and is so beautiful. Bo can punch our feelings with everything, even with the most simple joke in the world.
Why did the chicken cross the road? Bo answers this so eloquently! This is such a beautiful song, even without the lyrics. Add in the lyrics and it is just spectacular. I would like to look at the hopeful ending as what happened rather than the chicken getting squashed along with her dreams. 7:39 makes me get really emotional with what he does with the melody. Thank you for your reaction to this one!

The way I see this song is, the road might kill you, but you won't reach the meadow unless you try to cross it.
Making the first step into something scary and difficult, like recovery, can seem so impossible but unless you try, you'll never get to a better place.

Great video! As someone who watches a lot of reaction I‘d like to give you the advice to go backwards maybe 5 seconds after you pause, because people often tend to miss things before and right after the pause. And you notice that as a viewer. Wish you all the best!

Took me to the 2nd video here ive seen of yours to notice but i saw that little brown spot in one of your eyes. My mom had that too, blue eyes with a brown spot. Im the only green eyes in my family but i think its very pretty and wanted to mention that. :) Keep on with the content, i enjoy your thoughts on art.
