After this is over can you do a devil may cry boss ranking series? The series has a lot of bosses, and to my knowledge no one has ranked all of them in each game.
My plan right now is to continue making God of War content for the next few weeks, then covering Dark Souls remastered throughout May/June. After E3, I'll let fans vote again on the next DeMod-a-Thon, so be sure to vote for DMC!
What more awesome about the Perseus boss battle is that he was voiced by Harry Hamlin the actor who played as Perseus on the 1981 Clash Of The Titans film
You can tell this is the point in the series where they went from "Well, we can only afford to put in a few boss fights, but by god, we're going to make the best of them," to "our budget is larger than most countries' GDPs, so here's 5 bosses in a row, just for you."
Last Spartan, Kraken, Lakhesis & Atropos, Clotho, and Zeus. On his own merits, I personally would call Last Spartan more of a miniboss, but seeing as how he starts off a Boss Extravaganza, it seems worthy of a promotion.

My favorite game in the series. Without having played God of War PS4. As great as Zeus was, I agree with Lakhesis and Atropos. They're my favorite boss fight in the series.
Sad that Typhon wasn't a better enemy since he was the most powerful and was basically the king of monsters. Last I remember from like 6th grade, it took Zeus and Hermes and Apollo to trick the Titan into a trap of Zeus's insides to defeat him as every other god ran in fear (after Zeus was ripped apart by Typhon.) And they trapped him in a mountain where he is imprisoned. Just wish he could be cooler.
That mountain is supposed be somewhere around Sicily now, he was the fearsome looking titan for sure, I wished for the same thing when I met him in the game, I was disappointed.
God of War 2 is my favorite in the series. Your fall from Olympus and rise back to the top is simply amazing. And the Last Spartan boss physically hurt me. When I first played God of War 2, I was already frustrated and I was really into the game. So when a boss showed up I decided to take all my rage out on him. When I realized who I just killed, I literally sat there for minutes, hand over mouth, feeling terrible about what I had just done. I hated myself (and Zeus) for a good while after that.

Don't know, I would have ranked Colossus a bit higher. He is so awesome!!!! It almost feels like he is having his revenge against you for destroying his land. The more you beat him, the more enraged he becomes. And, Colossus actually beat Kratos (it's more like a grenade kill after death, but still). This is my favorite boss in the series and one of the favorite bosses ever in any game. And I'm always ready to pick God of War 2 just to fight Colossus again.
on harder difficulties you literally play catch with the sisters of fate, it's awesome, she parries YOUR parries like 5 times in a row until one of you chokes.
Watching this has reminded me of the awesomeness of God of War II. I go back and forth on whether I like it or God of War III better. I wholeheartedly agree with your number one pick. That battle is one of my favorite boss encounters of any game I’ve ever played. It’s so memorable for all the right reasons.

This was a great video. I started playing the G.O.W original trilogy and I just beat 2 today. I definitely say it’s a toss up between Zeus and the Sisters of Fate for best boss. Both of them were epic and definitely provided their own challenges. What irritates me was the section after the sisters of Fate boss fight. I get it’s a combat section but man that got a bit ridiculous to me anyways either way I think it’s a great game.
Got into your channel from playing Bloodborne as my introduction to From Software games but GOW is a series that I know MUCH more about considering I've beat all of them on the hardest difficulty. My favorite fights in GOW2 were the Zeus fight at the end and how hard Kratos guns for him but also the Perseus fight
When I saw the little bit of damage he was taking, I said, "he isn't playing on Titan Mode. Theseus was prolly the HARDEST boss." I hated that fight. I had to come back maxed out & beat his goof ass

But Euryale on Titan is so hard, she rocks your world. Also Zeus on Titan is basically the hardest boss in the series and I know GOW 3 Zeus and Cerberus Breeder on Chaos are there, but damn, GOW 2 Titan Zeus just too OP!!!!
God of War 2 Zeus felt more overpowered that The Valkyrie Queen on each hardest difficulty respectively because of how easy it is to mess up. The Valkyrie queen is actually a bit easier than the others in one sense that in close combat, she will spam moves which you can block or parry and if you go long range, she will use a special which you can dodge. After finishing Give Me God if War Mode, the only difficulty is one's own patience. If you have Blessing of the Frost which added time enhancement with any runes with the runic attack, yoy can break her stance easy.
Deany 2005 I played on the emulator PCX2. It was hard for me because every time she would start her stare, as soon as I parry, she turned to stone but broke out in no time, freeze me instantly and tail smash me before I can break out. Maybe the game was buggy for me there but it was really hard. Zeus was a real test though.

Agree with the number 1 choice, also my fav. boss in the game and certainly on my personal top 10 list. Heck these two are so great, I often forget that I still have to fight Zeus after them (and the fat one). They are just such perfect final boss material

Bruh try zues. 1 combo and 80% hp down. The only reason thesus feels hard is cuz our bas hp is very low. Cant go titan until n unless u have atleast a fully upgraded hp bar. It was tough to beat him in titan mode

The Perseus fight is to me even cooler once you realize that the Perseus you are fighting is voiced by Harry Hamlin, the same guy who played Perseus in the 1980’s Clash of the Titans.
Honestly, I wish the Barbarian King had a slight bigger role when it came to God of War 2. He's the guy who practically started Kratos' journey to becoming the God of War, and I honestly love his design and his giant hammer and horse.

So i have a question that's been bugging me for a while now, if the sisters of fate had the power to change Kratos' past all along, why not doing it before he got to them? Did they underestimate him out of pride and wanted to toy with him? Or did they need Kratos to reach them in order to do that? Probably the first option, i feel like they wanted to toy with him idk
Everybody talks about how badass Kratos is, but the whole reason any of these games ever happened is because the barbarian kicked his butt in the beginning and Kratos begged for help. The barbarian is the true bad ass if you ask me.

To be fair, the cerberuses and the Dark Rider weren't really bosses.They were mini-bosses at best. But other than that, I'd say this list is pretty spot on.
It's kinda ironc at how low typhon us since in greek mythology (I'm a bit of a greek nerd) He was one of the strongest monsters in existences. Even the gods fleed from him
