This is awesome. Picked up the Kommandos as my first (and only) Kill Team, then the rules updated, and I'm still painting my awesome Deathskull Looters. Great vid for me as I continue to work on them. Hoping to get some games in before the Tankbustas drop.
Awesome video deployment has always been the most difficult aspect of this game and the way you explained this also helps even if you're not playing kommandos.
Nice! Subbed! Will you be taking Kommandos to the worlds? Interesting on the equipment! Been loving the collapsible stocks and harpoon over the krak and dynamite. Increased range on the dakka boy and comms shokka has been great.
I’m not sure if I will take them to worlds; I think they have a hard time against most elite teams. I’ve tried the harpoon and stocks, but didn’t love spending an equipment option to only sort of affect 2 operatives. I have spiked with the shokka pistol, though, which feels awesome when it happens!
Thanks, this is a very good video as Kommandos are now much more tricky to play with the reduced damage output in KT24. What are your equipment choices of preference apart from the obvious Krak grenades as these are the only AP weapon available? Also what tips do you have for using command point?
I’ve tried harpoons too, which felt decent as a little bit more ranged damage, but those can be situational to the board and mission. Collapsible stocks also can feel okay, but it’s hard to sell taking an equipment piece that only really affects 2 operatives. It’s okay if you really don’t have anything else to take? Choppas are currently an unplayable equipment choice, so unless they go to 4 attacks don’t ever take them! Also, don’t underestimate the power of smoke grenades! Against some teams it makes it very hard for them to whittle you down.

First deployment prefered, thanks!

Great video! Subscribed, and i dont even play kill team. Really good analysis and explanations.
Excellent tutorial, definitely earned a sub!
That's a cool gameboard
This was excellent! Thanks for the video
This is really good, subbed. Planning more KT stuff?
More faction guides will be on their way!
Great stuff!
Awesome!
🎉
Love the guide, but I think the visuals ques (circles and lines) cam be slowed down a bit. They seemed a bit strobe-y at current speed.
I need to know what you used for those vines and flowers they look amazing!

Apologies I wrote the equipment question before reaching the end of the video. 🤦♂️

I feel like a lot if this deployment guide can be used for Navy Breachers too. What do you think?
I don’t have any experience playing as the breachers, but a lot of the concepts here can apply as a general strategy for teams of similar size!
