Does the baking soda dry your skin out? I might have added too much baking soda, but the past few days, I've noticed my under arm skin looks and feels too dry, itchy it looks kinda wrinkly under there now..... I added around 2 table spoons of baking soda, 5 tablespoons of the coconut oil and 2 table spoons of corn starch. I keep it in the fridge too. Maybe it's cuz I shave my underarms. I wash my under arms with the gold dial bar soap, then rinse them off. Then lather them again and just shave in one direction, then I rinse them off again. Then dry them and apply the mixture. I guess I just have to experiment with it. Jw. @@flaneurfilms1940
Hey there, great recipe lady. I’ve been testing it for a few days and so far, I am good to go. I just need to figure out how to solidify the contents. ❤
I love shea butter, mango butter, and apricot oil with baking soda and essential oils. Literally went without deodorant all day in the heat then used that formula and the smell was gone immediately. Did this to test my recipe btw. Lol.
I did this without the arrowroot powder. It works all day. Not a trace of odor
Does it leave residue on your clothes?

Hey there, great recipe lady. I’ve been testing it for a few days and so far, I am good to go. I just need to figure out how to solidify the contents. ❤
You could try putting it in the refrigerator.
Try adding bees wax and melt the mixture together and pour in an old deodorant container to solidify
Candelila wax is good
I use corn starche and it works great
This is great I just made it
This is great, thanks!
Do you get oily stains on your clothes?
Thanks so much for the recipe, ill try it on tonight. Wish me luck 🍀 🍀 🍀
@Hassan raza Bouk i didn’t have any backing soda so it wasn’t super efficient with the smell but it stilled worked pretty well on keeping my pits dry
Going to make this later on today! Thanks :)
The Choreography Video just come out! 😘
Thank you so much for the recipe and making a very coincise tutorial :)
Am I the only one who saw a "Face" in the arrow root powder? "Arrow root man" lol
😆
I saw it lol
I do it .. i thought i add alot of oil 😂😂😂😂😂 but is an amazing deodrant
I am using this now but got rushes after applying a few days and itching as well. Any alternative replacement with the Baking soda.
Hi! You can use magnesium hydroxide instead :)
I used Arrow Root powder and corn starch. Baking soda causes painful rashes and burning.
use and put glysolid cream ,tawas and moisturizing cream and mix well...
Mine solidified when it dries. I can't apply it with my fingers because it's hard to the touch and not soft.
Thanks for this recipe. Wondering if you have a deodorant recipe without baking soda? TIA
I do have a recipe without baking soda. I’ll have to make a video with the recipe
@@honeygrovehomestead6011 please do I broke out so bad with baking soda but not with magnesium

The baking soda is the main role here
Greatly needed, so many people get irritation from backing powder. Thanks in advance !@@honeygrovehomestead6011
Is it supposed to get hard as the coconut oil ? I made some and mine got rock hard. Maybe I used wrong type of coco oil?
It should not get rock hard it should just stay a soft creamy consistency like frosting. You could try using less coconut oil.
Won’t oil get absorbed by your clothing? And then leave an oil mark on your shirt?
What if the consistency is more solid?
The only way mine has been more solid is if I store it in the fridge. But it should still work the same
Do it leave oily stains on clothes?
That's what I was wondering!
It has for ME . Js
Can you tell me the measurement of the ingredients please
Approx. 1/4 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup cornstarch or arrowroot powder, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 4-6 drops of essential oil but the oil is optional
will this make skin dark ??
plzz rply
I personally have never had issues with it darkening my skin. I can’t speak for someone else though
Is baking soda good as a deodorant? Some deodorants say “no aluminum, no baking soda “
Some people are sensitive to baking soda. I personally have had no issues
Can i use flour if u don't have cornstarch?
I wouldn’t use flour but you could use arrow root instead of cornstarch
@@honeygrovehomestead6011 thanks made it with cornstarch it works well
How to use it
Wtf sort of question is this? You put it on your armpit.
Who saw a face soon as she put the flour in
What's the shelf life, can it last long?
I’ve let mine sit on my bathroom counter for three months and it was fine
Doesn’t that rub off on your clothes creating white stains?
I personally have never had issues with staining on my clothing
@@honeygrovehomestead6011 excellent, thank you!
Coconut oil clogs pores and baking soda can cause irritation 🥴
I’ve had zero problems in the ten years of using it but you are free to not make it
approximate Shelf life
Approximately 3-6 months, possibly longer
No 💀
How do I stop it from being grainy?
You would need to remove the baking soda and add a different ingredient
Ye I'm just gonna buy it
How do I make it firmer like the store brands?
Store it in the refrigerator or a cool place
