Shen! He is an enemy to the main character, and actually connects to his past. He was funny at times, wasn’t the strongest but still deadly, and he is also pure evil but with a lot of humanity and realism. Plus his voice and design is awesome!

I would Tai Lung is more Ground/Fighting. He uses rock to get out of prison and also broke through steel and rock, both of which Ground is super-effective against. Shen is who I’d pick, and hey, Fire/Dark does actually work for him despite being able to glide.
Tai Lung: Fighting. As he represents the ultimate test to your body Lord Shen: Between Dark/Psychic, Flying/Dark or Flying/Psychic, Or Fire/Psychic. As he represents the ultimate test to your mind. I put in dark to represent Shen's fallen mind General Kai: Ghost/Psychic. For he represents conquering your own spirit.
This gives more justice to these three than the new movie does sadly… I really wish that Tai Lung got a redemption arc done properly. I’d imagined a scene where Po, Shifu, Tai Lung and The Furious Five battled Shen, Kai and a new powerful villain with a huge army of powerful warriors. Sure it was a bit crazy, but it ended up being better than what we got.
Would've been so cool seeing Tai lung go up against Kai and try to get revenge for Kai stealing his chi. Though Tbf, Kai shouldn't have existed in the fourth movie, Po literally blew him up.

Omg and it would be like amphibia style (2 in 1 episodes) and one of the epsiodes would be for Shen then the other one would be the history of the furious five,general Kai,and the redemption arc of Tai Lung or the history of Tai Lung!
I love how Lord Shen and Kai each have their own signature sound to represent them. (firework and jade swords attached to long chains). Very noice, I've heard each of the epic orcehstral covers individually. You are one of the best composers. :)
Yeah the new villain is trash to be honest. Especially compared to what Tai Lung, Shen and Kai did. All 3 of them had a menacing approach what each did proved their dominance. Tai Lung: He laid waste to the valley, bodied 1,000 prison soldiers, defeated the Furious Five and Shifu singlehanded and gave Po a run for his money. Shen: Committed genocide on the panda race, gave Po PTSD, killed Master Thundering Rhino, lied to Po by telling that his parents didn’t love him and almost killed him. Then during the final battle after capturing The Furious Five, Shen almost kills everyone and after Po finishes the job, Shen accepted his death in the process. Kai: Defeated Oogway and took the chi of every master in China, bodied The Furious Five along with Shifu (along with taking all of their chi except Tigress), destroyed the jade palace, evading on the panda valley causing an all out battle in the process and almost taking Po’s chi. Oh and he has a godly theme song. The new chameleon villain is tame compared to what these three have accomplished.

I you ask me kung-fu panda 4 would have been 100% better if the three of them got to tag team po in a fight, not only would the fight look amazing but story wise it would be awesome to show po's character growth over the three movies by him being able to fight all three of them at the same time maybe not win because let's be frank noone could win a three v one if the three people you were fighting were them but having po hold his own for a while against the three of them would be really badass
I just really love the Chameleon's concept but she's such wasted potential, I could've have given her the darkest backstory and she would easily take the Emotion spot because women are seen to be more emotionally-driven.

You can't imagine how glad I was when I saw your video pop on my feed. This so good, I lile the AOT sounds at 1:10, and the fact you used fireworks for Shen's part, and chains for Kai's part is such a cool detail. This is such a well made mashup, because there is 3 distinctive parts, but they all blend together nicely. Oh and good luck with Uni btw👍
@@carameii To be fair, Gary Oldman (Lord Shen) has since retired, and JK Simmons (Kai) was preoccupied with another project, that being the upcoming Red One, so it's not like their characters were going to have much of a role without either of them
From what I heard, shen and kai weren't even supposed to be in the movie. The animators had to fight higher ups to get them in and by then, it was too late to get any voices for them.
1:45 Lord Shen and Kai were my favorites growing up, with Tai Lung being a very, *very* close second. Shen tested Po's mind, while Kai tested his spirit, Tai Lung tested his power, the stairs tested his patience, and the Chameleon tested his capability. And I love that they got Ian McShane, Gary Oldman, JK Simmons and Viola Davis to voice the villains.
I think for Shen not a redemption arc but just him coming to terms with the past and finally accepting it and finding peace, he doesn't exactly turn good, but he becomes less evil.
I mean po was able to let it go and he found inner peace and i agree with po, “sometimes you gotta let go of that stuff from the past because it just doesn’t matter the only thing that matters is who you choose to be Now.” Granted shen chose to fight but then the guy literally got bodyslammed by a giant cannon chock full of fireworks. If that isn’t enough of a punishment I ask you what is.

Three well-written villains. Hopefully they add a fourth one with just as good of a character design, especially in terms of having a meaningful impact to the series.
From what i heard, the original concept for 4 involved shifu being kidnapped that would bring Po to the city, and that him and Tai Lung would team up against the Chameleon, as well as a farewell moment with Tai Lung and Shifu. Tai Lung was supposed to have a redemption in this movie and they took that from us.

I was thinking of my interpretation of kung fu panda 4 and looking for a video that combines all three of their theme songs. I’m so happy I found this one. Was looking for a specific video like this… so I can … use it … for the…….. chameleon‘s theme now I know what you’re thinking * She’s a horrible villain why would you make this song her theme song!* the reason it’s because I gave the chameleon a More worthy version of her original backstory, which was because she was too small for kung fu(warning this comment is going to get very very looooooooooooong read at your own risk)that being that she was the last of a race of agent chameleons who were the first Masters of kung fu big one of the Important three(it’s a placeholder title) of the pandas being the masters of Chi and the dragons being the first spirit warriors, but while all her sisters could learn kung fu the chameleon(or Sai Chi as her real name with chameleon as a title she goes with making her more mysterious) Could not but she did find a way to cheat the system(oh I’ve forgot to mention that sai Chi her parents and her sisters were a royal family) She used the magic of sorcery and made her own version of kung fu sorcery but her father did not approve and told her to stop these foolish magic tricks and focus on true real kung fu but sai Chi did not. In retaliation her father said either stop with your magic or leave and she chose the ladder leaving her home. She begin to grow stronger with her kung fu sorcery and when she was ready to return back to her home, she saw it being ravage by evil panda using dark Chi. While sai Chi was banished She did not know of the discovery of dark Chi a fusion of dark magic and Chi upon this discovery, it nearly caused the destruction of both the ancient pandas and the ancient chameleons as it was stealing the kung fu from the chameleons and draining the chi of the pandas but sai chi’s father and a dragon managed to seal away this dark Chi into a magical scroll, turning it into a spell that can only be used if The most powerful and evil of the kung fu Masters from the mortal world, spirited world, evil, good, dead, alive, spirit warrior, even from the underworld and the heaven, channeled their kung fu into it. Little did they know the peace of the dark Chi managed to escape and flew right into a panda who wanted revenge on the dragons and the chameleons starting with the chameleons as attacked and ravaged their home. When sai chi tried to stop it. It froze her in a block of ice. Though this dark panda was eventually defeated by the panda tribe, but not after it nearly destroyed the chameleons and totally wiped out the dragons except for one(but I bet you know where that ends up) by the time sai chi thawed out the ice she realized that the marinade chameleons could no longer learn kung fu because of their small size. She was heartbroken until she learned of a legendary warrior called a dragon warrior and the more she heard about him the more she wanted to meet him. But when sai chi manage to find his location and get a glimpse of him before he left the valley of peace to go save China from an evil peacock she saw that the dragon warrior was a panda. A panda the same species that nearly destroyed her species and caused the modern day species to lose their touch of kung fu! This is when she decided that she would make things right she will make sure that chameleons are The only beings capable of kung fu again by taking away a kung fu from everyone else, master student dead, alive, spirit warrior, even from the underworld and the heaven all kung fu will be taken and how would she do all this well she just so happened to come across a ancient spell of dark magic that scroll is the same scroll that the dark chi was sealed away in. She will plan to take all the kung fu and create an army of dark chameleon soldiers, the ability to transform into any kung fu master. And when sai chi learn to copy another person‘s kung fu(instead of stealing it) in used it to defeat her first kung fu master who was the emperor of the city the chameleon now rules this kung fu, not knowing her name called her the chameleon, and she used that as her title, letting everybody know that a chameleon defeated their emperor, not panda not a dragon, a chameleon. And that is how you make a good villain origin story. And it fits with the other three since they all had tragic back stories. And with me using this song as her theme song it makes sense since the chameleon can copy others appearances and kung fu so they will make sense that her her theme song would be a mix of the other three
Amazing medley would have loved to hear more of the iconic themes in the movie, but I definitly won't complain hearing them on youtube in this format instead 😋 my favourite of these three is (to my own surprise) lord shen and I can't put my finger on it why just a hunch 😅 themewise its kai though

I you ask me kung-fu panda 4 would have been 100% better if the three of them got to tag team po in a fight, not only would the fight look amazing but story wise it would be awesome to show po's character growth over the three movies by him being able to fight all three of them at the same time maybe not win because let's be frank noone could win a three v one if the three people you were fighting were them but having po hold his own for a while against the three of them would be really badass

You can't imagine how glad I was when I saw your video pop on my feed. This so good, I lile the AOT sounds at 1:10, and the fact you used fireworks for Shen's part, and chains for Kai's part is such a cool detail. This is such a well made mashup, because there is 3 distinctive parts, but they all blend together nicely.

@@carameii To be fair, Gary Oldman (Lord Shen) has since retired, and JK Simmons (Kai) was preoccupied with another project, that being the upcoming Red One, so it's not like their characters were going to have much of a role without either of them
From what I heard, shen and kai weren't even supposed to be in the movie. The animators had to fight higher ups to get them in and by then, it was too late to get any voices for them.
And having Furious Five return to help Po to defeat them all. What a missed opportunity.

1:45 Lord Shen and Kai were my favorites growing up, with Tai Lung being a very, *very* close second. Shen tested Po's mind, while Kai tested his spirit, Tai Lung tested his power, the stairs tested his patience, and the Chameleon tested his capability. And I love that they got Ian McShane, Gary Oldman, JK Simmons and Viola Davis to voice the villains.

This song makes me imagine these three coming back to life joining forces and becoming heroes, sort of a redemption story.
I think for Shen not a redemption arc but just him coming to terms with the past and finally accepting it and finding peace, he doesn't exactly turn good, but he becomes less evil.

I mean po was able to let it go and he found inner peace and i agree with po, “sometimes you gotta let go of that stuff from the past because it just doesn’t matter the only thing that matters is who you choose to be Now.” Granted shen chose to fight but then the guy literally got bodyslammed by a giant cannon chock full of fireworks. If that isn’t enough of a punishment I ask you what is.
Tai lung is the hero of his own story. Such a well done villain. It's an atrocity we were robbed of his arc.

Three well-written villains. Hopefully they add a fourth one with just as good of a character design, especially in terms of having a meaningful impact to the series.
From what i heard, the original concept for 4 involved shifu being kidnapped that would bring Po to the city, and that him and Tai Lung would team up against the Chameleon, as well as a farewell moment with Tai Lung and Shifu.
Tai Lung was supposed to have a redemption in this movie and they took that from us.
This genuinely makes me sad, I really wanted more tai lung shifu interactions.

I was thinking of my interpretation of kung fu panda 4 and looking for a video that combines all three of their theme songs. I’m so happy I found this one. Was looking for a specific video like this… so I can … use it … for the…….. chameleon‘s theme now I know what you’re thinking * She’s a horrible villain why would you make this song her theme song!* the reason it’s because I gave the chameleon a More worthy version of her original backstory, which was because she was too small for kung fu(warning this comment is going to get very very looooooooooooong read at your own risk)that being that she was the last of a race of agent chameleons who were the first Masters of kung fu big one of the Important three(it’s a placeholder title) of the pandas being the masters of Chi and the dragons being the first spirit warriors, but while all her sisters could learn kung fu the chameleon(or Sai Chi as her real name with chameleon as a title she goes with making her more mysterious) Could not but she did find a way to cheat the system(oh I’ve forgot to mention that sai Chi her parents and her sisters were a royal family) She used the magic of sorcery and made her own version of kung fu sorcery but her father did not approve and told her to stop these foolish magic tricks and focus on true real kung fu but sai Chi did not. In retaliation her father said either stop with your magic or leave and she chose the ladder leaving her home. She begin to grow stronger with her kung fu sorcery and when she was ready to return back to her home, she saw it being ravage by evil panda using dark Chi. While sai Chi was banished She did not know of the discovery of dark Chi a fusion of dark magic and Chi upon this discovery, it nearly caused the destruction of both the ancient pandas and the ancient chameleons as it was stealing the kung fu from the chameleons and draining the chi of the pandas but sai chi’s father and a dragon managed to seal away this dark Chi into a magical scroll, turning it into a spell that can only be used if The most powerful and evil of the kung fu Masters from the mortal world, spirited world, evil, good, dead, alive, spirit warrior, even from the underworld and the heaven, channeled their kung fu into it. Little did they know the peace of the dark Chi managed to escape and flew right into a panda who wanted revenge on the dragons and the chameleons starting with the chameleons as attacked and ravaged their home. When sai chi tried to stop it. It froze her in a block of ice. Though this dark panda was eventually defeated by the panda tribe, but not after it nearly destroyed the chameleons and totally wiped out the dragons except for one(but I bet you know where that ends up) by the time sai chi thawed out the ice she realized that the marinade chameleons could no longer learn kung fu because of their small size. She was heartbroken until she learned of a legendary warrior called a dragon warrior and the more she heard about him the more she wanted to meet him. But when sai chi manage to find his location and get a glimpse of him before he left the valley of peace to go save China from an evil peacock she saw that the dragon warrior was a panda. A panda the same species that nearly destroyed her species and caused the modern day species to lose their touch of kung fu! This is when she decided that she would make things right she will make sure that chameleons are The only beings capable of kung fu again by taking away a kung fu from everyone else, master student dead, alive, spirit warrior, even from the underworld and the heaven all kung fu will be taken and how would she do all this well she just so happened to come across a ancient spell of dark magic that scroll is the same scroll that the dark chi was sealed away in. She will plan to take all the kung fu and create an army of dark chameleon soldiers, the ability to transform into any kung fu master. And when sai chi learn to copy another person‘s kung fu(instead of stealing it) in used it to defeat her first kung fu master who was the emperor of the city the chameleon now rules this kung fu, not knowing her name called her the chameleon, and she used that as her title, letting everybody know that a chameleon defeated their emperor, not panda not a dragon, a chameleon. And that is how you make a good villain origin story. And it fits with the other three since they all had tragic back stories. And with me using this song as her theme song it makes sense since the chameleon can copy others appearances and kung fu so they will make sense that her her theme song would be a mix of the other three
