My car has run 70k mile with factory installed A/C system. Now do i need to change the compessor oil any time in its Lifetime.( As a preventive maintenance?)
i did replace ac evaporator, expansion valve, condenser, pressure switch and dryer, and kept the same line hoses, i added 2 onzas of pag100 and try two old ac compressors but i didn’t work, two compressors started quickly to burn out, i already ordered a new oem compressor, hopefully make it works
Hi, I’m doing this whole service to an ‘05 Subaru Outback. Where’s the link on how to drain & refill the compressor? I have a newer compressor, but I filled it up through the suction side (haven’t run it yet). However, I’m not sure if that’s correct since other videos state to put the PAG oil through the high pressure port (smaller hole) of the compressor, then rotate the pulley to lubricate it. Did I make a mistake by introducing the oil through the suction side?? Also, I bought a brand new Condenser as well. Do you know if they already come prefilled with PAG oil and a new desiccant pack? Thanks in advance.

My 2018 civic compressor has a small leak and has some rattling. I added about 1.5oz yf oil, it helped for a bit but is still noisy

Do you have to add oil to the condenser when replacing the compressor and the condenser?

Very detailed.
What if you overfilled oil ?
Doesn’t Freon r-134 also contain oil?
No, unless the can says it contains oil, but those cans are only for adding oil, not regular recharging.
Thank you..
Thanks mam
Still guess work
There should only be a coating of oil in the whole system other then in the compressor …
Using a air compressor blow acetone first & then just air removing all the oil and leaving everything clean, new o-rings, evac., charge & enjoy ❄️🥶🧊
