I TOTALLY agree!....Ive been spreadin word about these guys for so long...I got quite a few fellow metal heads hungry for them. They dont get enough exposure here in Canada IMO
@@5H4D0WK1LL3RA55A551N not bad ratings necessarily, but just not enough recognition in the world at large. Obviously, within the community itself they've made a name for themselves, but extreme metal is a pretty niche art form. My comment was more to emphasize that they're notoriety worldwide doesn't match they're talent.
The guitars and the drums complement each other rhythmically so good! Crazy cool riffs, song structure and production. Looking forward for the album...
I've seen Psycroptic live at least 6 times In ACT and I will be totally fair when I say they are the greatest live metal band that there is Up close to the stage this is really the tightest band I've ever seen This is with hundreds of gigs worth of experience in the metal community including many of the bigger pioneers of the modern wave of metal genres I found a sceptre of the ancients poster about 10 years ago and that's when I got into psycro
I hope they come back again soon. I came across them when Dean Lamb featured Exitus on his channel, looked to see if they had any gigs and what do you know, there was a gig at The Basement literally two days later. It was some multiday event with heaps of bands though, so was way too expensive when I only wanted to see Psycroptic. Next time!
you lucky bigger!!! I wish I had seen them Live 🤘they make me proud to be Australian 🤘 and they are one of the best bands by far, Australian metal God's!!!🤘🤘🤘
Technical Death Metal in case anyone was wondering though some people mentioned they sound thrashy (1:32) and I agree. Saw them live in Darwin, Fucking good band. \m/
I discovered this band just today :-) :-) Really great songs - this (what an intro too!), and a few others that I've heard! Quite a bunch them! ....and the Vocals and Guitars almost set right everything that's gone wrong with Metal today!
I just stopped by to give you a listen because I'm going to see you on Sunday at Brick By Brick in San Diego, Sunday Sept 29th. Stoked I checked it out because I love it. Nice work, guys!!!
Righteous.... Completely in your face with more power behind it. Given the fact that it has a Pantera meets Lamb of God feel. Just awesome guys very awesome.
Just the fact that appreciate Athiest probably makes you one of the coolest guys on the planet!!! Not many people really even know them let alone cite them!!!
First listen I hated it, but its grown on me! He's sick I reckon, and maybe its not the meta of death metal vocals but that's cool that they are doing there own thing.
I think he's badass. Has more than one style and a good vocal range, distorted yet audible vocals, suits their sound for sure. Their other vocalist was really good too.
Now that I'm re listening to this, I'm starting to think that the vocalist sounds a bit like chuck schuldiner actually! Not identical obviously, but there's something that reminds me of him In his voice for some reason
thumbs up to this band... they can be recognized from 10000 miles! love the way they have evolved.... and all those blistering intro melodies just fucking blows!
Here because of Dean Lamb 🤘🤘🤘sick song
Me too bro
That intro should go on forever. SO SICKKK
One of the best songs ever in the history of technical death metal
WITHOUT A DOUBT - my thoughts exactly
Not even top 20
@@NAT-turners-Revenge yeah, well that's just like, your opinion man

intro and the first riff reminds me Opeth's old songs.
+Şahin Onur HÜKÜMEN Yes. yes indeed
thats the first thing I thought when I heard this, I got to see them live, they opened with cold, legit couldn't have been better
Opeth have been my favourite band sivce I discovered Blackwater Park in 2001. Pyscroptic sound nothing like Opeth !
Jo Brown the intro....read the comment properly, the intro definitely has some hints of opeths sound
reminds me of Quo Vadis song Believe
These guys are criminally underrated
I TOTALLY agree!....Ive been spreadin word about these guys for so long...I got quite a few fellow metal heads hungry for them. They dont get enough exposure here in Canada IMO

I'm not a huge fan of the guitar tone here, but absolutely dig the band and the song. I saw them live recently, they totally slay it!
@@bsatyam best guitar player since dime
I think theyre brothers
@@SSTE4858 yes they are
Haley brothers \m/
They are Brutal as a band, and they also stand out from other bands thanks to the vocals.
If I had a dollar for every time I've listened to this song I could buy a new car.
I could buy an island.
I could buy a continent
i could buy a candy bar. nothing wrong with that.
I could buy the band lol
I could buy all your mums (I've only listened to it a handful of times).
This song rubs my eardrums in just the right way. One of my all time favorite songs actually. 😍
Same mate, been blasting this song since I first discovered the band on 2018.
I, who is 65 years old, is really impressed with this song..🤘🤘🤘
This riff has a really interesting mix of a lot of different techniques and has a really catchy melody
Its just some good fucken metal whatever categorie or genre you put it in two horns up for Psycroptic

I'd heard this riff before but never knew it was from this band. Great stuff, really well done phrasing that you don't often see in this genre.
"really well done phrasing that you don't often see in this genre" - This is true!
One thing that makes this band different is that instead of guitar solos they have really sick guitar fills ...
Great Musicians and band...
Saw these guys live, met the band, and got to try Joe's Ormsby. By far the most humble & awesome guys anyone could meet, hope to see them again \m/
0:50 This reminds me of Opeth's 'Ghost Reveries' era tonality, with the technicality dialled way up. What a riff...
That riff reminds me of "The Grand Conjuration" By Opeth
Agree
With the exception of the acoustic intro (which I like, btw) this video has a really cool early 90s vibe about that I really dig.
I get the feeling you really like the 90s
True!
yeah, some 90's Pantera vibe too imho
The Riffs are so damn heavy an so damn Melodic
2:18 this riff is really good.
Slaps hard! :D
this is the absolute best, omfg
proud of my Tassie death metal peeps
There is just ONE guitarist! But it sounds like there are two.
Amazing band omg
Yeah Joe Haley is one of the GOATs!
That tone is soo so iconic, thank you!
Psycroptic always unique as hell! Amazing.
It's difficult to find the words to describe how much I love these people.
This band is so good. Singer is awesome. Everyone is so gangster on their instrument.
Woooow that intro is on a whole other level
Love how it comes in slow then melts your face off
Those are some great shots from the live performances there! Love the way the slide looks in slow motion that Joe Haley makes at 1:26
must say, one of the best songs ever. unreal...
Badass. This song isn't too fast, but oh so groovy! Love it \m/
These guys by far my favorite band. I get to see them for the 3rd time in under 12 months. these guys just keep getting better!
I love the vocals. music. I just love Psycroptic
Who doesn't love psycroptic 🤘🏻
First time hearing this band. Love the vocals
Technical Death Metal in case anyone was wondering though some people mentioned they sound thrashy (1:32) and I agree.
Saw them live in Darwin, Fucking good band. \m/
I was just about to say they sound like death thrash. Even the vocals have a thrashy vibe.
Like Revocation but good
Just heard about this band recently. This song is a hell of a first impression! 🤘

Badass riff / drumming. 🔥
That's why I love this band!!! ✌
Seen em live last night in Melbourne, impressed the hell out of me. Left a fan.
David Haley drumming is awesome! His drumming on The Amenta was flawless!
Righteous.... Completely in your face with more power behind it. Given the fact that it has a Pantera meets Lamb of God feel. Just awesome guys very awesome.
Psycroptic evolved to a higher level. \m/
Awesome dudes from Tassie
Love u guys, excellent work, greetings from Argentina!
wow this is great, something different in the sea of monotony, well done
Quite possibly the most underrated metal band right now. Should be way more popular than they are
The vocals remind me of Kelly Schaefer from Atheist. I like it, it fits. Not generic deathcore vocals like so many of the new bands.
Well I wouldn't call them Deathcore
Bon Simpson You misread my comment. Try again.
Oh sorry, I get it.
Just the fact that appreciate Athiest probably makes you one of the coolest guys on the planet!!! Not many people really even know them let alone cite them!!!
I'm gonna listen to Mother Man just for you brother!!!
Saw these guys last night in Leicester was an excellent show.
The production is great. It sounds so clean but not fake.
A Minusio ci sono diverse cascate quasi quelle del video arrivano dalle montagne.I riffs sono di lunga frequenza , fantastici.
This is the music you dream about, but it's here... in this brutal reality. \m/
How on earth are these guys not headlining everything
There sooooo good 😢
Love this song, and band. Reminds me of some Far Beyond Driven level headbanging.
When this album comes out I will be locked in a constant headbang for weeks
Je trouve même pas les mots pour dire a quelle point ils sont géniaux, ça c'est un groupe qui a de l'avenir !!!
Just saw them in sf..what a treat to see live 🎉
That lead guitar tells a story; I tell you what.
This is going to be a very interesting album to hear, the songs revealed are awesome!
never disappoint me this maybe Psycroptic best year i am hyped for the album now
this band makes very proud to be Australian 🤘 one of the best metal bands and they have their own style, Psycroptic 🤘 Australian metal God's 🤘🤘🤘
That song reminds me of that song... which is awesome!
Thank you youtube for this sugestion, what a great band, and yes is very underrated
How many amazing songs can this band produce ..!?!!
First time I've heard this band and this guitar composure is fucking cool
My favorite track! Awesome to have shared the stage with you!

Bad ass song people! Didn't know this is what it's like down under! Out back tech death metal! Keep kicking ass!

That is one of the coooolest riffs I've ever fkng heard
Thrash 5.0. requires brain driver updates.
Finally a metal band that you can actually hear their bass player. Coming from a guitarist.
This song is TIMELESS
How many still listen, this needs to be remastered though
Tassie! Great to see another genre coming from Van Diemens Land...
the riff starting at 0:53 is insanly cool. I don't give much about the band but that riff is the real fucking shit
This is awesome! Sounds more like technical thrash to me.
Very excited for more of this!!!!
the little plunger like ride cymbal is cool
That fucking Dave,ALWAYS uses that ride SO good,in EVERY album of theirs.
that band deserves more recognition!
I wish I would have heard this song 5 years ago.
Instead of commenting 5 years later.
Holy fuck this is so good
Amazing as always!
So proud to be Aussie, knowing some of our boys are making the worlds finest.. 🤌
This is like somekind of technical thrash metal death metal crossover.
First attempt at listening to this band. I like them. Most of this song sounds like lamb of god.
The riffs!!!
thumbs up to this band... they can be recognized from 10000 miles! love the way they have evolved.... and all those blistering intro melodies just fucking blows!
Interviewer: "You're the drummer of the band. What do they call you?"
Dave Haley: "Feet. They call me Feet."
need more!!! love those riffs!!!
Cool as hell. It's that bend that seals it.
one of the best tech death metal bands, nowadays
they are since Scepter.
