after having listened to this song countless times over the years I can safely say that this is the best song ever made. This shit never gets old.
True Story my Friend! Cheers!
My favorite hangover song! 10+ volumes.. Everybody else's favorite hangover song - not so much
I wish this band would just become huge already.
+2e3t9d4c No Shit!!!!
they are pretty huge now
dude they're pretty big in the death metal scene
@@krispynachos9980 no
Love seeing Metal from my own state!!
Tasmanian Metal!!!!
great music from possibly the most beautiful part of Australia!
True Tasmanian against the grain metal!
Where abouts was this filmed does anyone know?
I’m so blumin glad I finally rediscovered this song. I found it a long time ago and could never remember what it was called but I could always remember the intro. Finally found it again. Euphoric.
this band has gone from one of the good death metal bands to one of the best. this line up is gold. this singer is gold.
Anyone in 2019 listening to this masterpiece?
Dude everytime when i listen this Masterpiece i go back when i was 16 years old
Now i'm 24
2020 even!
@@pitersr739 I'm 73, and I thought it kicked ass! Vid was really very well done. Powerful. (Engineer & Keyboard man)
Still in 2020
2020
If you listen to it enough then maybe you'll start to appreciate the vocals. Just takes a bit of time.
+FugalBaboon Shouting just isn't as good as deep growls or high pitched evil screams.
I disagree completely, those both just piss me off and sound completely generic.
I grew up on hardcore. Just kinda associate it w that.
@@hashbrownz1999 I respect your opinion but it's objectively wrong.
I have always loved the way this song starts , so eerie and melancholic...
Shit, I almost died of fright when the song suddenly jump-started!
i love how these guys write an awesome intro and then follow it with a good song rather than ruining it by putting unstructured rubbish after a nice piece of music lol
Why isn't every music video like this? Where I can actually see them playing and appreciate it! These guys are too good!
This song never gets old. It inspires me to reach new levels of shred on guitar.
finally hitting the 1,000,000 mark as I see after a 2 month's comment gap!
deservedly done n given, what an amazing thrash track..
clearly one of my absolute favorites!!
me encanto!!!
Te amo
One of my all time favorites.
The harmonics in the outro are incredible
Listen to the album in full. then you will learn to love his unique vocals. Wouldnt change a thing about them imo. Brutal as fuck
Still not old.
Is this the rising of a, next-gen of metal, yet again?
It's very unique, and i LIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!
Dark music is the best , it crushes everything else!
Just fucking amazing. Hopefully they can keep up
This is really good technical cyber-grind fused in with blackened jazz-dubstep
*facepalm* just call it metal...
+EerieBetrayal Seriously that guy, he mentioned dubstep in a video like this.
best call it djent. well i think it is associated with djent, but it is definitley not dubstep
*****
the fact that you have no idea that if i actually got it or not is better. its text by the way, no one really knows 100% except the person that types it...
You are crazy, this is Extreme Soft Brutal Hardcore Deathgrind Technical Prehistoric Death Metal
Sergio wanna be super funny but his not:)
Found psycroptic when they supported cannibal corpse in the Gaelic club Sydney ,2006? Much love.. They should be more famous, it's criminal they aren't
i really like his shouting style vocals. I think it adds an energy to the overall atmosphere of the song that constant lows or highs dont have
Thank god a Aussie band that isn't a generic deathcore band, Australia is so fucking bad for that
Tenshin Daw check out hadal maw, eternal rest, and sanzu. they're all australian
I apologise for parkway drive.
I listen to pure death metal, not that fuckin core shit.
Karnivool, Be'lakor, BTBAM, King parrot. All great Aussie bands!
Merlijn Toby king parrot are like a bogan Pantera with a bit of death metal thrown in with a Aussie pub punk feel.
Merlijn Toby btbam is from north carolina in united states
one more reason to retire in Tasmania
Osamu not far from home
The guitar work is amazing in this especially when it slows down
One of there best songs drumming is impeccably masterful
why do i not listen to them more fucking love this band!
possibly
I listen to them every other day, best option is to do that. Because, the day you do listen to them, they slot right in to your daily routine.
If this is song had chalky doing vocals it would be insanely mental.
Yep
I directly fell in love with that build-up til the amazing riff starting at 4:05.
I don't think I have been more excited about a show than when I heard Psycroptic is coming with Nile!
Sounds pretty like Decapitated from the old Days (winds of Creation riff).
666aiolia and then decapitated stopped writing anything other than open notes.. man Winds Of Creation and Nihility were two amazing albums
Bollocks
The band is one of few from Australia really worth listening to.
The whole world must give recognition to these guys for their creation and musical style.
By the way, the "few" means numbers a man can count by only his one hand. What these deserve... you know.
Lol there are more than a few good bands coming from aus
Worth listening to?
Mate I can name at least 50 metal bands from Australia that match it with anything else from around the world
This is amazing musicianship, left a huge first impression
listen to psycroptic's other stuff. he doesn't always do that yelling vocal style, he actually has a really good variety of growls and screams, he just does yelling in this song
like a modern deathmetal
It's technical death metal
rules of logic and physics do not apply on this band. brilliant riffs, insane drumming!
Just Awesome
saw these guys a few years back in a small venue the riff at 2:00 stuck in my head since then
Get a new singer and enter for death metal valhalla. Great rifs, killing drums, HC voice.......a little more grind core......
Listen to some of there other stuff. The singer as a lot of versatility. As someone that has been listening to them since there were just a pub band they can do a lot :P
Thank u i will!
Tomaž Rutar My personal fav is colour of sleep.
+MIchael Lithium didn't they have a different vocalist for colour of sleep though? not hatin though. i love these vocals too ya know
Nah
Great Song but Vocal Sucks :/
Disagree..
this band is incredible, and the vocals are SICK haha he does a bunch of different styles
Tassie boys!! Keep slayin them!!
I am very happy that I could see them live three times.
le trigg a un son de plastique !
saw these guys at Bastardfest in Brisbane the other night....so much talent
I had the good fortune to open for these guys once, twas pretty awesome.
Nuclear Blast Records impressive band. It's become a must. I will buy the album at my local retailer. So good...
I love these guys, and I usually don't even like technical stuff. But the vocalist has like 18 different voices and the instruments are right on time, every time. VERY impressed with Australian metal lately.
Saw this live at Full Tilt, never heard of them before, now a fan, keen to see them again!
absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its like the band is practicing, and some guy pissed off that he cant work his camera, and the band goes"dude you wanna join our band"and thats how this video was created.Nah these guys are great.
Rather than pointlessly trying to deduce what genre a song is when I listen to is, I tend to try and get my head round the drum grooves/beats, listen to the lyrics and enjoy the guitar riffs. Yeah I actually LISTEN to the music.
what are you talking about the clean screams are too good. their the only reason i love them so much its so unique.
The vocals sound the way they should sound! Pure raw force. The singer does a perfect job in throwing into relief the lyrical motif. Oh, and it`s an oppinion.
2020 and this song is tight as ever.
From the same city as these guys. Great feeling to know someone from Hobart has became this famous for good music !
I like how at the end they're still playing while the music fades.
this is my go to song for when i'm feeling angry and stressed this is what i listen to
i listened to this song like twice a month ago and wasnt sure i liked it so i left it but it kept playing in my head so i listened to it again and now i cant stop
thats what makes the rest of the song so much better.
impressing, great production !!
ive played with dave haley before when he was playing with blooduster. we where lucky enough to be one the bands to open for em. man he was killer that night
Good balance of technicality and groove
First time ever hearing this band.Epic drummer win
The first heavy part after the intro and right before the vocals is very cool!
I love how their guitar lines are like a solo themselves
Saw them live yesterday... I have never head such a tight band live, it's insane!
Been listening to this since the day it came out. This is theyre catchiest song imo. It always gets stuck in my head for days after i hear it. The notes/melodies they chose for this where just perfect. And the whole song has such good flow. Ive been listening to this band since i was in like 6th grade and the older i get the more i appreciate these guys geniusness for real
This album and scepter of the ancients were their last great albums. Their new stuff is just a shell of its former self.... I too started listening to these guys around 6th or 7th grade, 34 now.
i keep comin back to this song!
waitin for the well-deserved million views it sooo commands!!
Awesome!
Drawing with a computer program is still art. Art is just a representation of someones emotions that they convey through a medium. Music is an auditory medium, and thus any collection of notes, be they computer or not are still music.
seen the band tons live here in Australia.. Dave's a really nice guy, excellent drummer, very modest..
GENIUS.
their drummer is ridiculously insane
This is the song that got me hooked forever as a loyal fan!!!❤
Spettacolare 🤘🤘
So good!
Everyone shut up and listen to the drums, that is what this band is all about and you know it!... Hes got some serious talent!!
this band is absolutely GREAT.
The drums are crazy. I likes it.
The riffage is top notch
love the singers voice. its like proper hardcore and metal mixed, such a dope band
really amazing
my favorite part is that last riff, its so catchy
Kick ass!!
These dudes popped up in my Spotify discover playlist and the name brought back vague memories of this video. Didn't like the vocals at the time but I'm glad I could reconnect with an old memory :)
I was in this Asylum today! Love this Song
Y'know, as much as I wasn't a fan of living in Australia, thank the gods for making me switch on to whatever channel it was that played this on that random ass Wednesday. What a great band, and what a stellar song.
I fled from Australia as well, luckily before the plan-demic. Our rights were being trampled on left and right with hardly any law and order.... Proud to be an American now but honestly I'm starting to see the exact same things I saw back in the early 2000s in Australia starting to happen here now....
how the hell is it possible that there are people that don't like this music? this is music from god's ipod!
Holy shit... those drums and guitars are bloody fantastic!
Awsome!
observant is beast mode glad they made a vid for this song
great music!!!
A "chef d'oeuvre" amongst a master piece of an Album!!
intro is so epic every time i ut this tune on my spine is freezing
Impressive and heavy
saw psycroptic live and they blew me away. dave haley live is insaneeeee!! one of the best drummers imo. and all the drum warmups he was doing before the show even started were sick as haha when he started warming up I thought a machine gun went off initially...although i was drunk.
I still miss chalky though :(
metal stands for what you want it to. I am listening to the song, thanks.
