    Hi, I grew up in the north and although I enjoy a cobbler they probably are not as popular as they are in the south. But I have to agree with you I would lean towards a chocolate cobbler rather than a fruit one. But that’s just me… Thanks for sharing this one and posting the recipe.     Question what if you do not have self rising flour😊

      You can make it. It is all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. For every 1 cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon fine salt. If you don't have all purpose flour, baking powder or salt, I can't help you.
