One wizardry trick that forever will blow my mind, put a sealed can of condensed milk in hot water for a certain amount of time and it becomes a dipping caramel sauce for apples. Mind blown 😳
It's the closest thing to dulce de leche. Simmer an unopened can of condensed milk for at least 40 minutes, adding water to top up, and you get a fabulous caramel dressing. ( Don't open the can until it has cooled!)
Put a can of sweetened condensed milk in a pot, cover completely with water and keep covered in water and boil for 3 hours and get caramel for pie as well. Been doing this for years. Yummy 😋🤤
Yeah, I’m not too crazy about honey. However, I think the nuts would add some saltyness to it, so that would be good, but don’t think they would stay on, unless u had honey on them. So guess I would leave both honey and nuts off.
I would like to include dates in it somewhere. I have been reading about the health benefits of dates, seems like the coconut and honey would go well with dates.
Looks delicious and I'd like to try it. The only thing I'd change would be to coat them with pecan bits instead of peanuts. Being from the South - pecan country - that would be lucious!
Warm condensed milk w/3 cups choc chips till melted. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/2 teas vanilla. Pour into 8x8 pan lined w/wax paper. After hardened. Flip to cutting bd & cut into squares. This maybe further down in comments.
@@flowerchild777 ¾of the can of condensed milk, works best with a regular size bag of chocolate chips.(about 10 ounces) Don't add vanilla to the chocolate it will make it crumble, add it the the condensed milk and then warm it up to about 39° c . Nice and all under 1 minute as it states in the.....Oh wait... I only clicked on this because it said no bake under 1 minute.. YEP, I fell for it, hook, line, and sinker..that's on me. I will stick with my 15 minutes no bake, chocolate/peanut butter oatmeal cookies. 😁
My one minute version of this recipe is to blend all ingredients (chopped, in the case of the peanuts) into a creamy frosting for the cookies to be dipped into. My two minute version of this recipe is to spend another minute spreading the frosting on one side of a cookie and sandwiching that frosting to another cookie, repeating until minute is up or ingredients exhausted.
To be honest none of this would be able to be properly done in even two minutes, but I might not be considering how fast a person or a baking mixer could produce the result.
A "Chef" serves everything in moderation. Thank you for sharing this special recipe. It's simple, yet elegant as a little dessert served with an ice cream and coffee.🧑🍳☕
It’s actually not that sweet. The bitterness of the Unsweetened cocoa and saltiness of the butter cuts the sweetness. And the nuts in the dipping chocolate does the same.
This is pretty much my rum ball recipe, just no need for the butter or the honey, and I coat my rum balls in coconut and of course add rum, if you leave the mixture just a little sticky so less biscuits you can coat them without needing extra calories in honey
This does look delicious. I think I'll give this a try with one minor change. I had two cans of condensed milk which I put in my crockpot over night to make caramel. (I used one in the new recipe version of Libby's pumpkin pie recipe. 👍) I still have that second can to use up and it might suit this recipe perfectly.
@@irritatedkitty7301 You don't open the cans. They are left on low overnight in the crockpot. The cans don't even bulge. I've heard of people doing it on the stove, cans unopened of course, usually wrapped in aluminum foil just in case. The water covers the cans by about an inch, and it's kept at a low simmer. The only time I've heard of accidents is because the temperature got too high and somebody forget to check them. When they do let go you usually have a lot more than the pan to worry about and clean. The color and intensity of the flavor depend on how long it's left in the water.
@CharlesSmith-io9fp TY, however, the glue holding the label came off and the glue stuck to the pan. Maybe the aluminum foil would prevent that. Yes, lol, big mess if the can overcooked and the water evaporated. Yikes.

that took longer than one minute. But you lost me at the honey. that would be very very rich. leave off the honey dip in chocolate and I might be able to eat half of one. made my mouth water.

I was invested until I saw the honey dip. I would have just eaten them as is before the dipping in honey.
Would have been a lot nicer dipped in chocolate and covered peanuts or hazelnuts.
I would have just made as a chocolate dip, sprinkle some nuts on top and dip the cookies in the dip.
