    One wizardry trick that forever will blow my mind, put a sealed can of condensed milk in hot water for a certain amount of time and it becomes a dipping caramel sauce for apples. Mind blown 😳

      It's the closest thing to dulce de leche. Simmer an unopened can of condensed milk for at least 40 minutes, adding water to top up, and you get a fabulous caramel dressing. ( Don't open the can until it has cooled!)

      Yeah, I’m not too crazy about honey. However, I think the nuts would add some saltyness to it, so that would be good, but don’t think they would stay on, unless u had honey on them. So guess I would leave both honey and nuts off.

Warm or melt the chocolate to the same temperature (if warming in microwave do it slowly, stir every 10 seconds. Then add milk to chocolate little by little. (Add nuts or coconut or cranberries etc. At this point.) Pour in a dish lined with wax paper refrigerated for about an hour. And you got yourself the best fudge in town. Enjoy!

    This does look delicious. I think I'll give this a try with one minor change. I had two cans of condensed milk which I put in my crockpot over night to make caramel. (I used one in the new recipe version of Libby's pumpkin pie recipe. 👍) I still have that second can to use up and it might suit this recipe perfectly.

    • @CharlesSmith-io9fp
      @CharlesSmith-io9fp ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@irritatedkitty7301 You don't open the cans. They are left on low overnight in the crockpot. The cans don't even bulge. I've heard of people doing it on the stove, cans unopened of course, usually wrapped in aluminum foil just in case. The water covers the cans by about an inch, and it's kept at a low simmer. The only time I've heard of accidents is because the temperature got too high and somebody forget to check them. When they do let go you usually have a lot more than the pan to worry about and clean. The color and intensity of the flavor depend on how long it's left in the water.

    • @irritatedkitty7301
      @irritatedkitty7301 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @CharlesSmith-io9fp TY, however, the glue holding the label came off and the glue stuck to the pan. Maybe the aluminum foil would prevent that.

    I would pour the cond milk mix into the food processor with the cookie crumbs, make smaller balls, skip the honey and vary coatings; toasted coconut, pecans, cocoa powder, chocolate sprinklea..

  • @brendamaun5455

    No need to drag out this prep by showing the mixing, rolling, and dipping three times each. We got the idea after one... Ok, maybe someone needed two times.
    It would also be helpful to use larger bowls to facilitate mixing or rolling in the nuts with less mess.
    But I will admit these do look yummy.

      Same thing I was thinking. But English might not be her native tongue. I don't know about everyone else, but as someone who lives in the US, we are always saying something will take just a minute when we know it's not true. It's a figure of speech and we expect people to realize that it's only a figure of speech. It's not meant to be taken literally. If it's true that English is not her native language, she's simply trying to convey the same idea, but doesn't quite know how to word it.
