@@ferillsetiawan5494it's a double edged sword in some ways. Being an earlier pack it has a lot more content but also a lot more bugs. If you want to play through it you'll probably need to cheat because it's brutally hard without them and a few bugs will make aspirations and events uncompleteable. It definitely adds a lot of non-university stuff too so it's good even if you don't plan to do that often (if you do you'll probably change your mind when you realise how broken it is) but the world it adds is basically useless for anyone but students. As with any DLC for this game, wait for the sale if you can't try before you buy because you'll be dissapointed if you pay full price.
I think a lot of people who hate on the sims (not everyone) but a lot don’t play the game. They just watch sims content on TH-cam so they don’t explore the features themself. I’ve seen people complain about features that aren’t in the game that actually are. Just a thought, no hate to anyone.
I mean like it's sad to have more features for love experience and stuff by buying a 40 dollar pack... Expansion or not... It will not be good if you gotta pay money for something that the next generation sim games will add free
Had no idea about quite a few of these things. You and Petey Plays are always teaching me new things about the game that I would have otherwise missed. Even if I think I know everything about an expansion pack, clearly I don't.
Y'know what i don't hear people talk enough about? The fact that you can turn frogs and fish into plasma packs for Vampires to enjoy when you have some Vampire lore skill! Especially since both frog breeding and plasma pack creation is instantaneous and can be done on pause, meaning that if your vampire sim carries two same-species frogs (since they'll stack and leave more room in the inventory): you basically have an easy source of plasma without needing to constantly stock up on plasma fruit, plasma packs, or needing another sim nearby to feed. It's also very cost and time effective. Why don't more people talk about this?
This is super useful!! I never play vampires even though I love them because I have such trouble keeping them fed, but this makes me want to play vampires again.

One feature I wonder if people know about is that if you create a pond in your home lot, you can place the fishing sign on it (from the water features section, not debug) and after that, you can select to fill the pond of any fish you have captured so far. Need an angelfish for ambrosia? If you've found one before, just click to fill the pond with them and you can fish as many angelfish as you want from there. Easy!
You know... Whenever I see a notification from your channel I'm immediately attracted to it and, the worst that might happen is I'm busy, so I'll just add to Watch Later and watch the video ASAP. This time wasn't different, but, by the title I couldn't help but think it would be just a list of stuff I already knew, or something like that, still I watched it because it was your video and... 6:46 I recently found out that while your sim is floating in meditation (available at level 5), you can click on them and choose to teleport to the sylvan glade or forgotten grotto if you’ve been to those places before! I even got the option to do so while doing the level 7 teleport, though nothing actually happened so that part might be bugged

Great video as always. Just one thing to add, on fact 74 (at 7:20 part), the new sim that is generated will be set as your sim's cousin, thus preventing romance. It also seems like if your sim already has cousins, the game will still generate a new sim for it. So yeah... Also, 99 is an interesting fact as it is one part of the sabotaging holiday traditions feature. Oh there are a lot: adding something extra to great meals, sending forged break-up letters, fighting Flower Bunny/Father Winter for eggs/presents etc. Also, Bask in Horse's bravery... Did you take that one from "Things You Didn't Know!" thread in Answers HQ?
I've recently found the tasty sim thing with my vampire sim. So of course I locked that sim in the basement and went out to find another. Now I'm trying to uh... make more, if you know what I mean

I discovered just yesterday that mermaids can talk to the fish in not only fish tanks but the aquarium table from My First Pet Stuff. Not groundbreaking, but thought it was a fun little detail since the table can't be interacted with otherwise and the stuff pack is so controversial (and pointless) 😅
If you have city living there is an exploit with the “Dream Big” interaction with the basketball hoop. Release toy doing the action will let your sim max the athletic skill quickly.
A LOT of these I didn’t know but I did know many of them as well. This is what I love about the sims it’s soooooo many hidden gems In the sims and I see so many people run to mods to play and it’s nothing wrong with that you do you but I see stuff that you don’t need mods for in game you just have to be patient and explore and actually play the game and you will discover so many hidden gems im telling you. I never realized you can literally make relatives with the research genealogy. Hell, I never even knew it existed. That is something I'll probably start using from now on!
I love sims 4 more than any other sims game. People hate it and i completely understand their pov as well. EA should've added a lot of features in the base game instead of making so many packs for money
Apparently lights can break in the Sims 1 as when sims try to replace the bulb there’s a chance they can get electrocuted but when I played the Sims it never happened to me. I think that feature was removed in Livin' Large as the deluxe version has Livin' Large built in. Only this detail would ever return in the future. Even though repairing animations are so bad in the sims 4 the neon lights feature maybe close to what we got in the first game. Maybe if anyone has the Sims 1 base game could try it without expansion packs installed and see if lights can break as I only found this out on the wiki.
Would like to add a small word of wisdom regarding the whole “placeable objects on the treehouse.” Be cautious if you put the kids’ scientist table up there; mine caught on fire and I had a No Adults rule on the treehouse, so the fire could not be put out by anyone since all the firefighters were adults and the oldest kid my sims had was a child, not a teen, so everyone was unable to put the fire out. Maybe I’m just dumb and didn’t think it through (wasn’t even aware the scientist table thing could catch on fire) but it was extremely annoying and took like 20 real life minutes for the fire to eventually die down on its own. Save yourself and don’t limit adults from the treehouse
I like watching these videos about Sims I learned so much I've been playing Sims ever since they came out Sims PlayStation 1 butt now is cost too much to buy the world's on Sims 4 and I don't understand you got to buy the world but you also got to buy the things to download it something needs to be free because if the world cost too much and then even though there's a discount on the add-ons to order to play the world this is too much
discover university is actually a GIGANTIC expansion pack, none of the newer expansion packs contain as much stuff as it does

Nr. 80 can also be done with high athletics skill. I believe it's at lvl 8 or 9.
That’s a different thing since they use the same fighting animation as regular fights (with gray clouds) instead of this martial-arts like animation
