One reason I respect Freddie's singing skills SO MUCH, is his ability to improvise and go high or low, depending on how he feels... I might be wrong, but I feel like this must've been after a string of shows and he was tired/his voice was tired, thus the pitching down to sing some low notes and save his throat. He's ALWAYS AMAZING, no matter what!! ....and yeah, this was during the Live Killers tour - same as the 1979 Odeon Hammersmith - thus the GORGEOUS, ADORABLE biker leather look.
The Hammersmith 1979 performance was in the Crazy Tour, in November - December 1979. The Live Killers tour was through January 26 to March 1 of 1979, during the Jazz Tour.
I was sad seeing a video of concert in Japan when they were not up to standard….Freddie’s voice . . .then read it was the end of a big tour. Exhaustion etc. was playing a role.
I've just subscribed, not able to donate, DISABLED AMERICAN VETERAN, i can barely afford to feed myself, SAD AF, HUH?! 😂 ANYWAY love your channel. No one EVERRRRR LIKE Freddie!!! IDK you you have reacted yet, but I'd love to see WHAT THE HELL HAVE I, by Alice in Chains ⛓️
There are several incarnations of We Will Rock You (fast version)....This version (link provided) has a very different feel. th-cam.com/video/Ekm6WtKwQos/w-d-xo.html
That's a pretty poor vocal performance from Freddie on this one, he's ducking just about every high note in the song. There are many better versions out there. I assume he just had an off night or was run fown due to too much touring here.
I haven’t hear this version before….Queen can do anything and everything.😮
Great reaction, Rory! I completely agree that Freddie's energy lifts everyone up.
...."WHY DOES BRIAN LOOK LIKE A GIANT???"🤣
Hello Rory!! I love it when Queen opened with the fast version
of WWRY! Very energized & exciting!! Freddie looks fantastic!! 👮🏻♂️
Very very awesome!! Awesome reaction Rory and thank you for whomever requested this 😊💓🤘✌️🌹

Happy Birthday sir Brian 🎸

They KILLED IT and they KILLED ME 😂💫💥⚡️✨ ( plz give Nala a chewy 😓 )
This version must have been the first of the fast We Will Rock You -- but was slow compared to a later effort. Love the daddy aside to Nyla(:

No , he was friends with the Village People he copied the outfit from them..
I forgot the guys name .
Thank you for doing this.
Freddie was 5'9" and Brian was 6' 2"

Different trousers, red ones at Hammersmith, and different jacket. You're having your usual memory problems.
Brian is 6’ 2 inches. Freddie is 5’ 9”.

This was done in the BBC studios in London and not live. It was done to be played on a special radio program

Brian is a giant. Freddie is not tall. Wasn’t he wearing red pants yesterday and a red handkerchief
