Kabuto might have won the war. He was capturing both Naruto and Killer B's souls in the Statue of the King of Hell and both of their tailed beast. He could then have used them as Edo Tensei with no chances of ever loosing control over them. He would also have studied their DNA and bodies for more amps to himself with his scientific researching skillz...

Even if everyone turned around and tried to kill him Madera would still slam xD
Obito was able to fight off Madara's control with a giant hole in his stomach and a large slash through his body, so Obito wouldn't be weak enough to control in this scenario, thus Madara wouldn't be able to revive himself.
And even if he could he wouldn't have Hashirama's sage jutsu for perception AND he'd be blind, which would significantly decrease his ability to fight Kabuto. So to me it depends on how quickly White Zetsu finds the Rinnegan or if he can get it from Obito. Though again Obito, after being drained from using Rinne Rebirth was able to overpower Zetsu and attack Madara, so I can see him using Kamui and possibly running away if needed.
That would be interesting but I’m taking Obito , Kabuto and their Edos fighting against Madara and winning any day of the week. I love me some Madara and understand how crazy OP he is, but my love for him doesn’t blind me from acknowledging that his opponents have way too many aces up their sleeve to be. Even with Madaras best weapon perfect Susanoo it wouldn’t be enough.

Something that you guys didn't bring up: Would Black Zetsu try to switch sides and manipulate Kabuto as he begins to get the advantage? Kabuto may not have currently been interested in the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan, but Kabuto IS interested in knowledge and unlocking the secrets of jutsu, chakra, and their origins, and that's absolutely something Black Zetsu could leverage (since he's tied to Kagua and the origins of Ninjutsu), like if he and a white Zetsu snuck off underground to meet Kabuto secretely, told him some information about Kaguya and how he's just using Obito, and that by pulling off the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Kabuto could get the chance to speak to the origin of Charkra or something. It wouldn't change the final outcome, since Kaguya would just get revived, but still

Kabutos interested in ninjutsu for sure but he’s not Orochimaru and even orochimaru is known for his treachery and backstabbing just like kabuto.Kabuto would never trust or cooperate with zetsu after he reveals he’s been manipulating obito+Madara both for decades EACH while both were non the wiser to zetsus hidden agenda. If anyones gonna question why zetsu would want the shinobi world to be at peace via infinite tsukyomi/ has the means to revive the progenitor of chakra yet can’t do it himself and still hasn’t managed to do it even with Obito+ Madara Uchihas help for again decades, it’s a smart character like kabuto. Kaguya would never be revived if zetsu tried to manipulate kabuto .
He already was. The part that makes the most sense about the zetsu retcon is that he led kabuto to madaras body. When nagato betrayed them, zetsu had kabuto make sure that Madara would return.
Kabuto wouldn't go with the tsukoyomi since he was only interested with destroying konoha and getting sasuke so he could use his power like orochimaru tried to do, not eternal peace like obito,, he would of caught on to what zetsu was trying to do and would get rid of him quick.

@@fellowkrieger457 Keep in mind also that Kabuto didn't just give him a bunch of strong dead ninjas. By capturing Yamato he made the Zetsu stronger, which means the Zetsu which were already fodder would have been even more of a joke. At the very most they just have numbers on their side, but with them being even weaker even that 20 thousand difference probably wouldn't mean much.

He is good at underestimating the opponents, when he should have a clean victory.
Without Kabuto, he would have had an army of white Zetsu, not amped by Yamato, no edo jinchuurikis, and the gedo statue.
Not to mention, without edos, there wouldn't be Kinkajou or Ginkaku nine tails chakra. So he would not even have a shortcut to summon Juubi.

Remember how Nagato told Itachi where Kabuto was located with his sensory but couldn't sense Itachi, who was standing right next to him? Lol. This is one of the many proofs that Kabuto had no idea how to use Nagato properly.
Sensory isn’t passive. It’s like a switch you turn on and off and requires focus. Sage mode users have passive danger sensing but not Nagato.

Let’s be real, if this was an actual Nagato with autonomy then the Naruto, Bee and Itachi fight would have lasted much longer and is more ambiguous because Bee and Naruto are non-factors in that fight
@@greenisnice9345 That isn't how sensory works for any shinobi that doesn't have some kind of sage technique... It is an active ability that they need to use whilst not in battle, which is exactly why Karin (Possibly the best natural sensor in the series) would always sit back... As well as Cee during the Kage summit who sat back in order to sense, which made Karin have to turn off her chakra signature until Sasuke genjutsu's Cee..
You cannot fight and sense simultaneously without SM, which Nagato doesnt have. Kabuto used Nagato relatively fine, I don't know where you're getting this notion from, Naruto & Bee were nearly captured and were two of the strongest beings alive at that time.
@Robin you can sense whilst fighting, its just very difficult. An examole is tobirama, madara and hashirama, tobirama whilst using the severing water was sensing narutos position. Madara whilst fighting sensed hashirama and hashirama well... hashirama. But those are 3 power houses tbh
After seeing kid Obito fight Minato, Fuu and Torune having a decently lengthy fight against adult Obito, reacting to him, Obito resorting to feints and hit-and-run tactics is actually stupidly impressive.
Obito didn't NEED to resort to feints. He was just goofing around, most likely because he wanted them alive. If he was aware of Danzo's sharingan arm he was most likely just killing time for Danzo to get it ready and/or for Karin to have some more time to heal Sasuke before sending Sasuke out to test him.

One thing that was not factored into the discussion: Does Kabuto not just take over Sasuke's body as soon as he gets him? That would drastically increase his odds I feel like if he's now fighting with sage mode AND Mangekyo... and he also has access to Hashirama cells with the knowledge that thats the requiremens needed for Rinnegan activation... so like, there's not too much stopping him from trying for Rinnegan awakening either
You people don't read the series it literally stated by Madara it took years after getting hashi DNA that he got the Rinnegan why does everyone think someone just get a Rinnegan immediately after getting hashi cells
You also have to remember even when Orochimaru changed bodies he had to wait a while while he healed and got use to it. So even if kabuto did try to do that I'm certain he'd just put himself at a major disadvantage

Honestly, Walking Dead Naruto Edition would be fascinating. I'm imagining teams of specialized hunter/sealing ninjas working out ways to track down and subdue these legendary figures who are pretty much directionless fighters at this point. It could be really cool.

And Kabuto has a ton of Edo ninjas to watch his back. They would force Obito to go intangible over and over.
Another factor that we can bring into that theoretical Kabuto/Obito fight:
Prior to Naruto/Bee vs Itachi/Nagato, Obito also went to the First Division (with Darui) to sick the Gedo Statue on them and steal the Ninja Tools sealing Kinkaku and Ginkaku with the Nine Tails Chakra. SO IN THEORY, once he would discover Kabuto betraying him, as an absolute last resort, he could initiate the reincarnation of the Ten Tails.
He wouldn't be able to become the Ten Tails Jinchuriki (because of the Heart Seal), but it should be more than enough to get Itachi/Kabuto/Nagato/Sasuke and arguably the rest of the Shinobi Alliance outta the picture EASILY. Which then leaves Edo Madara (if Kabuto summons him), Obito, and Ten Tails after that.
But with no way to become the Jinchuriki he has no means of controlling it for long, and even with Madara helping him they still struggled. So he might win the war, but the world is doomed and he never gets to have his perfect world with Rin, making it pointless.
You forget, in canon the things Obito had already collected were what let them resurrect the ten tails. It's not even in theory, that's legitimately the play Obito made in canon the moment things started looking dicey.
It tooks Obito a long time to stalling to have the Juubi summoned. In the meantime he is literally left alone without tailed beast power, or Gedo statue backup.
While Kabuto can make it more than a 4v1 with all the edismos he has.
A sage flute genjutsus is realistically all he needs to paralyze Obito. And Obito wouldn't have another user to snap him out of it.
Sage genjutsu was enough to paralyze, MS user genjutsu overload Itachi, ems user Sasuke, or Rinnegan user 3 paths of Pain.
Kabuto has genuinely room to manoeuvre.
Unless he goes out if his way and call Edo Madara to tease Obito.
Then it is a big backup for Obito, Madara would just stick with the eye of moon plan and help Obito at first.
@@fellowkrieger457 Genjutsu resistance isn't a trait of Sharingan. It's an ability Sharingan users have because of what Sharingan does. Their ability to see chakra is what makes them resistant to genjutsu. The only way to actually catch a sharingan user in genjutsu is to put so much chakra into the disruption of their chakra network that the user can't undo the disturbance. That's why Itachi and Sasuke get caught, they're not strong enough to overpower the ridiculous chakra capacity of sage mode. Nagato's full power might be strong enough, but the paths of pain technique he was using divides his power among the pains, which we know he was using all 6. It seems perfectly reasonable for the chakra monster Jiraiya *with* the absurd chakra capacity boost that sage mode gives to overpower what is, charitably, at most 1/4th of Nagato each.
Obito, at least at this point in the series, has a decent amount of chakra, but also explicitly less than Nagato. Obito himself says he flat out doesn't have the chakra capacity to use two rinnegan. However, he *does* have enough to use one plus a sharingan, which should tell us a lot. Considering Kabuto almost certain doesn't have the same chakra capacity as Jiraiya, and therefore his sage mode capacity is also lower than Jiraiya's sage mode capacity, we don't really *know* if Kabuto would have the chakra to overpower Obito with genjutsu. We're *probably* leaning toward no, because Kabuto is weaker than Jiraiya, and Obito is weaker than Nagato, but Obito would be using his full power instead of the hilariously low portion of his full power that the paths of pain have.

From what we see, with all his modifications he has better showings than classic Orochimaru, by a long shot (but not character wise, Oro for life, Kabuto has no charisma, Oro would have been such a cooler antagonist). And Orochimaru was a rival to Jiraya, and used to beat him.
Even though, Sasuke at this point is an EMS user. He is on part with Obito. He has plenty of chakra. He can spam Susanoo and Kagutsushi non stop. It's not like auto GG on Obito. But EMS Sasuke is a powerhouse, that got caught in sage flute.
Obito has Kamui (which is op, but not resilient to genjutsu), Rinnegan chakra rods, rinnegan restrictions chains, shared vision with well no jinchuurikis if they get cancelled by Kabuto, big fireballs, big flying shurikens, some mokuton restriction branch, and possibly mokuton piercing jitsu if we assume it is not a feature of him+spiral Zetsu, and some regeneration with a bit of limits (you can pierce his heart for instance). Plus the gedo mazo with beasts insides.
Kabuto has a crazy arsenal. Senjutsu. Sage genjutsu. Almost immunity to plenty of physical damage. He can spread his body to mess up with the detection of Sharingan users. He has all sound 5 abilities. He has Edo Tensei summonings that are, just better than Obito army.
People makes videos on whether Itachi or Pain vs Obito, rinnegan Obito probably beats them. Then you just casually stack them together against Obito, then you slap sage Kabuto on top of that....
I mean sage Kabuto is a sloppy villain, but he is strong. You give him 2 edos Itachi and Nagato, with infinite reserves of chakra....

It’s funny how that small, seemingly insignificant encounter Naruto had with Itachi before his fight with Sasuke domino effected into Itachi single handedly saving the entire damn world. Man’s really the Batman of the series lol
So really love the idea behind this video and thinking about it, things are so much worse for the Allied Force than we realize. Naruto’s clones arriving on every battlefield is what allowed the White Zetsu to be identified. So now you have most of the army at a stand still while those who aren’t dealing with the Zetsu get stomped by the Kage and other Edo Tensei. Not to mention, something that is very likely, the more dead shinobi that pile up, the more variety Kabuto could get for his jutsu.
Honestly, by the time Zetsu and Obito realize how out of hand things have gotten, the Allied Shinobi Force is in full retreat if not deadlocked, Kabuto has a lot more shinobi he can revive, and with the state of the war, he has a lot more reanimations he can call upon against Obito.
At that point though, it’s up in the air on how things go. With the raw numbers that Kabuto has, yes Kamui is overpowered, but he has enough Kage level fighters to run down that five minute timer if he uses his remaining Edo’s correctly. Not to mention if he tags Obito with that White Dragon jutsu, he’s done.
A scenario where Kabuto kills Obito and inadvertently stops Zetsu’s plan would be really interesting to explore.

Honestly.....as someone who came from Seth's videos that had Swag and six in it, I'm literally staying and watching thjs videos because yall are just so damn entertaining ,even as someone who doesn't watch naruto anymore.(dont worry I aint watching seth no more) And you guys analyizse things so throughly (especially six, dudes a walking manga encyclopedia lol)

I like this hypothetical solely because it actually makes things harder for the protagonists. I feel like 99 percent of shonen hypotheticals are pretty easy to answer cause it just makes things easier for the main cast. For instance, I see people making videos about "what if goku went super saiyan early" or "what if goku was born with god ki"... well the answer to both of those would probably be that the main story would be exactly the same but every conflict would be solved easier... and that's it... so it's nice to have a hypothetical that isn't so easy to answer
Itachi was the older and stronger brother, but in the databook it's revealed he was homosexual which ruined the show for me...

In the summit, going for Danzo would be trying a 1v5 for Sasuke (plus Obito swooping in when he gets bored).
And in the war, Danzo would be in the HQ.
He can bring some interesting questions too. Cause there is no way he would agree to let Bee and Naruto jump into the battlefield. Also, he is a really selfish mind, he would throw other allies to take advantage of them. Like sacrificing a division, or a kage, without rumors.
Like things can go wrong way more with him at the head of the army.

There is another side of the Obito vs Kabuto fight that wasnt discussed here. But if we presume that Kabuto keeps the comatosed Naruto and B in his cave where they would be safest with Edo Itachi and Nagato, there is an alternate wincon where Obito doesnt have to beat Kabuto, Itachi and Nagato but insteads goes in steals Naruto and B and then Kamuis out of there with the two jinchuriki in tow.
Obito would become jinchuriki & would probably destroy Zetsu off the rip as while he does not know about Kaguya he absolutely knows that Zetsu is Madara's lieutenant. Interestingly if Juubito came for Kabuto we could see Edo Madara vs Juubito play out.
Obito would still prob not last very long either way.

Obito already has a piece of the 8 and 9 tails. He could just go far away and revive the thing if he chose. Even without the 2 strongest Madara said it would only take like 15 minutes for the flower to bloom.

My disagreement with this (in the beginning) is what if the Kyuubi intervened and said "Naruto use my entire power because its far more beneficial to be under you than Kabuto" so now Naruto is in kcm2. He solos Nagato and Itachi in my honest opinion. Which changes how this entire thing goes down. If he gets Kcm2 then all the clones get it at that point. So they now can go kcm2 and clean up so much different. Madara vs kcm2 Naruto amping Garra and Ohnoki plus everyone else.
I think that is far more likely in this scenario. The Kyuubi is not down for being controlled by any one else. It makes more sense that he will go Kcm2 and body them vs they just out right lose to Nagato
On top of that, this wouldn't be out of character for Kurama to do that either. He helped against Madara, why doesn't he do that here?
It’s very common in most anime that when faced with defeat by a powerful foe they evolve into a new form. Makes 0 sense Naruto would die at this point in the story, he would just get stronger ahead of schedule.
Please explain how KCM 2 is magically immune to being sealed? Did everyone here forget about the Totska Blade or what? And the yata mirror is definitely returning a tailed beast bomb back to sender. Plus a bigger body equals a bigger target for amaterasu, and that's on top of Nagato being able to absorb all of Naruto's ninjutsu (since he still hasn't layered sage mode on top of it ) plus bee at that point was just a power battery for Nagato as well. Which means it's 2v1. KCM 2 is definitely getting captured or killed. No doubt in my mind
@@King_Ryuga Kcm2 base stats are so far above what those 2 have to offer that he literally one shots them both into oblivion. You can't seal what you can't hit. Yata Mirror doesn't protect in every direction at once. You aim it forward fine. But you can be hit from every angle and position that isn't that. Naruto physical stats are overpowering those 2 and when he does Bee will seal them.
If Naruto needs sage mode he can make a clone out and have the clone use sage mode or (also in character) kyuubi can just allow him to do it. There is nothing Itachi and Nagato can do to stop from being speed blitzed down. They are too slow

If I was Obito, I would've killed Kabuto as soon as the war starts. The Edos would still be fighting on his side (Kabuto said as much), but now there's a 0% chance of anyone deactivating it. Plus, if he does it as soon as the war starts, he wouldn't have to worry about Madara later (if he decides to take the ten tails for himself).

The issue is Kabuto isn't actually *that* easy to kill for Obito. He could just panic & bring out Madara which is GG. This only works for Obito if Kabuto was still a Jonin level fodder.

Because I feel like if that's the case, Madara would go against Kabuto (since he thinks Obito's still on his side). Two things would happen: either Kabuto will realize this and just not bring out Madara (Obito would win in this case). Or Kabuto brings out Madara, immediately loses to both of them, and the Moon Eye plan would proceed as it did in the main series, except Madara and Obito now have the help of all the Edo Tensei with no way for the Alliance to deactivate them. It also means Itachi would stay revived and fight on the good side for the entire war, so who knows how THAT part will turn out.

Kabuto's trump card is connected to why he told Obito the Edo signs with confidence; Sage mode. Not only was he immune to ocular genjutsu which he might have thought would protect him from the moon's eye, but could become one with nature and Zetsu his way out of any situation. He'd only have to worry about the toad sound genjutsu. How was he supposed to know about Izanami, a genjutsu that affects your perception of time? Hell, his hyper senses probably even let the technique land easier. He truly was the closest to the sage of six paths at that moment.
Izanami was plot armor bullshit Kishimoto had to pull out of his ass that retconed the entire history of Izanagi all because he wrote a fight that Sasuke and Itachi couldn't possibly win.
How was he the closest to the sage of the six paths when both Obito and Madara were around? Two Uchiha with Rinnegan.
@@splinter360 The Rinnegan was not an issue as it could not touch Kabuto with his ability to meld with the earth and hightail it out of any situation. Think of it as a Kamui that let Kabuto get away from any dangerous situation so the brute force of the Rinnegan was not a threat, hence why Kabuto didn't mind telling Tobi about the hang signs to dispel. He was immune to ocular Genjutsu in his Sage Mode so the Sharingan was also null. He had attained chakra reserves that let him affect his surroundings. The snakes he protruded had his Senjujtsu imbued upon them which gave them his same chakra signature and voided sensory type abilities so he was untraceable. Said snakes also shared consciousness with him which worked as his own and improved version of the six paths perception except he didn't need to make the bodies, as he could simply puke them out.
He can turn into water to escape situations and in addition to Senjutsu he also has Uzumaki cells in his body for an even bigger chakra boost along with the healing factor that comes with that. Jugo's cells allow him to maintain Sage Mode indefinitely and collect nature energy passively without needing to move. He has Kaguya's damned bone technique or at least a weaker version of it which grants him durability on top of healing.
Guy can bring life to inanimate objects which the other villains could not. He practically has a nearly unavoidable sound- based Genjutsu that not even Itachi could avoid and in a one on one fight you're pretty much toast. White Extreme Attack sends both light and sound to attack the eyes and ears to the point it nullifies Susanoo and leave anyone defenseless.
This is all before counting the fact he had access to the Rinnegan and EMS through his summons on top to boot. Sorry, but Kayuya beating Madara wasn't the biggest ass pull in the series. It was Izanami and that only worked because it was a two on one battle where he didn't have access to his summons.
@@1845net this is not the case, just by the name Izanagi it was implied there was Izanami if you know the mythology; they're married together quite literally.
@@1001011011010 They literally retconned the entire history and usage requirements for Izanagi in order to make Izanami make sense. Just because Izanami existed in Shinto does not mean it has to be a technique in Naruto. Izanagi originally required Uchiha AND Senju DNA and Chakra to use. This requirement makes it nearly impossible for most Uchiha to obtain, and thus the technique would have no way of becoming widespread enough for Izanami to need to be invented to counter it. This lead to it only requiring a Sharingan to use later in the story. They changed the rules to account for Izanami, which proves that it was not planned from the start.

Why did Itachi NEVER try using Tsukuyomi on Nagato? Did he know that it wouldn't work on Rinnegan, or was it because he knew it wouldn't work on Nagato WHILE being controlled by Kabuto? Itachi is extremely intelligent. He must've known SOMETHING. He had no problem using Amaterasu multiple times but never used Tsukuyomi. Not even ONCE! Why?
Because even if tsykinomi worked, Kabuto was still the one controlling Nagato.

Without Itachi's plot armor aka Izanami, Kabuto would've low diffed EMS Sasuke, who was almost relative to KCM 2 Naruto. And Minato stated that, to defeat Obito, Naruto would need to MASTER the nine tails chakra aka KCM2.
So if Kabuto could've defeated EASILLY EMS Sasuke, he also could've defeated with ease KCM 2 Naruto and, therefore, Obito.
