I want to ask you a question. When we use who in the question, we return the verb to the past, as my teacher said. Why didn’t you return the verb to the past and make it in the original form? This is because “WHO” is irregular.
Excellent question! Yes, questions with "who" are often different. This is because "who" can be the subject of the question - for example: Who washed the dishes last night? In this case, we don't use the auxiliary verb "did" and we put the verb "wash" in the past tense -- "washed".
Hi Ramiz, The best way to improve your speaking is to practice speaking! Practice anywhere and everywhere you can - at stores, at work, with friends or family members who speak English... and if you are enrolled in PODER classes you can also attend our monthly conversation clubs!
Hi Mikaul! We're glad you're watching our videos! We unfortunately can't send you the slide show, but a good tip is try pausing the video as often as you need to while you watch.
Great question! "Who said that?" is a special kind of question where "who" is actually the subject of the question (there's no other subject there - no she, he, etc.).
Ahh bu yorumu belki ana dilinize çevirebiliyorsunuz. Eğer bu yorumu okuyorsanız şunu bilin ki Türkiye öğrencileri eziyet çekiyor. Lise de üniversite de ingilizce görüyoruz ve bu bize çok zor geliyor. Bu ingilizce dersi yüzünden sınıfı geçemedim. Hadi ama ben bir Türküm eğitim hayatım boyunca neden ingilizce öğrenmek zorunda bırakılıyorum anlamıyorum.
