I want to ask you a question. When we use who in the question, we return the verb to the past, as my teacher said. Why didn’t you return the verb to the past and make it in the original form? This is because “WHO” is irregular.

I completely disagree that in American English we don't pronounce the L sound (the alveolar lateral approximant). I absolutely pronounce it. I believe Midwesterners eliminate it but believe that to be regional. Listen to the song, "Walking in LA." The L is heard repeatedly.
