It makes no sense to put hydraulic rods on the 2020 Camry, but not on the 2021. It's good to see the holes are still there to mount a pair of them in there without having to drill any holes in the car in order to mount them. I have a 2020 Camry and found it nice that my car has them installed from the factory.
This his got to be because of the parts supply shortage but still it doesn't make any sense why they would go backwards instead of just keeping it with the hood struts when they probably could have gotten them from a different supplier. Jay, I ordered the parts. Some of the pieces say bracket hood stay and bracket hood support. Which ones go where for upper or lower hood? Also, they say left and right which is considered to be left is that the drivers side? Thank you, for any reply.
If you watch the first 30 seconds of the video you will see me explain that 2018-2020 comes with it and 2021-2024 does not. So yes most Camrys do not have it

I think someone said that they switch the hood from aluminum to stainless steel or something. If that's the case, then would the steel hood be heavier? If it is heavier, then would it be safe to use the same hydraulic struts or are stronger ones needed? Thank you in advance.

Im glad i went with tje 2020 Camry SE AWD. Came with the hydraulics. Definitely a first thing to do for sure.
