Just purchased a 22 XSE Camry and was surprised that mine came with these OEM fog lamps. They’re super slick looking
it is an option, and his car did not get it. toyota offers these accent lights as an option and some cars get it and some cars don't, it should be standard on all camrys, good DRL and looks fancy and is also functional too and not just for style, provides great light.
I bought a 2022 SE from the dealer with them already installed. I have yet to see another one on the street with them. Let me tell you, they look super nice at night.

These only fit 2021 or 2022 Camry's ONLY. The SE/SE Nightshade and the XSE are two different part numbers.

Since the XSE is very similar on the front end to the SE, do you think these would these fit on an SE? These look so clean and much better than those aftermarket ones that others install.
I think they’ll fit on the bumper just fine. The difference comes down to the connector, headlights are different between SE and XSE

did you have any problems with the sensors and stuff on your 22 xse?
@@jaredcab once plugged back in they went through a minimal recalibration, but I haven’t had any issues. I’m in traffic a lot and use the safety sense 2.0 on the regular, and it works as should.
@@AFerg85 i purchased these lights already but i’m nervous to have problems with the sensors. what do you mean by “minimal recalibration”? was there something that you had to do in order to get them back to normal?

@@jaredcab when you start the car after installation it took a few minutes on mine to readjust to distances, but it did everything on its own.
I got this installed on a 2022 Camry HYbrid XSE, I bought it directly from Toyota, Looks Great, But NOT bright enough, No functionality , I went back to the after market spot light, they are super bright and Looks Awesome
This might be a weird request but do you know anyone with the 18-20 model and can do a video on installing the lights for those (or would this work as a guide?). I see some videos by others out there but they're not as clear explaining the process.
The more I look at those original fog light bezels, there has to be a way to be able to remove them without having to take the bumper off because I was able to do that on my 18 and all I did was lower the splash shield on the bottom which allowed me to have access to the inside of the bumper..

Is it true you need a harness to connect the lights ?, that’s what they told me in the dealership and they cost $350

In my experience as electrical repair, all this is perfect explain but forget mentioned this kind cars have electrical system with software in ECM to support ohms, voltage if for any reason upgrade any extra wires in the future car still have litte problem in charge system. If you do this is better if you upgrade or add extra things at your car. You can used scanner like snapon or other with special funtions and add fog lights, this work if you repalce tires sice and others modes in your car. Remember this car have Auto high beams and radar to detected coalition.

They're labeled from factory as accent lights not fog lights

Agreed, and I will not give Toyota anymore of my money, the 18 and up XSE should have came with something in those black holes other than plastic, they are turning out to be Ford , the 22 tundra is an example of either get the TRD pro or get a funny looking GMC

Do they shut off when the low beam/high beams are on; meaning just for daylight running. There’s no switch to manually turn on/off.
They don't shut off. My XSE already had them when it arrived at the dealership
So there is no button or wiring that goes into the cabin ? I had a 2016 camry se that had wiring to add aftermarket led drl like the xse style back in the day. I now have a 22 se and would like to do this but don't feel like doing interior wiring or busting into the cabin.

What was the total time for the install? My dealer is saying they've never done this before (IDK how too) and they want $580 for install because they claim it will take 3+ hours. I am looking into different dealers, and will check my auto body shop to see what they want, but $580 seems really excessive for this install, no?

Hey man those oem fog lights from Toyota, do they turn on with a button inside or when the running day lights turn on?
There's no button inside but if your DRLs are on it'll be on
also those "fog lights" are not oem. that's definitely a third party accessory. idk about the 2021/2022 models but toyota sold online official fog lights that were round. this is an aftermarket part.
these aren’t fog lights they’re listed under “accent lights”, and there is actually a part number for them. verified through my dealership here in virginia. 100% oem
