*****NEW VIDEO***** _(Help needed!)_ ►th-cam.com/video/oBhI3yfEn4g/w-d-xo.html - How to Solve a Rubik's Cube Please could any of you help me by watching it (or just leave it playing) just to give it some initial views, otherwise as a small TH-camr it just gets buried never to be seen again on TH-cam as bigger channels dominate. Thank you, Lee
Excellent. My Mira shower head is a little different but this covered all the most importnat issues and use of miniature dental brushes save me from risking use of metal twist drills to clear muck in the holes that vinegar and other treatments could not remove. Thank you very much.
Very informative - clear filming and important close-ups at the right time. It was well worth watching right through as we can be well up on the tricky bits if we need to strip the head down that far. Loved the idea of clearing the holes with dental floss brush - that would do a great clean out. Thank you for posting this up it will prove really helpful. You get 5 stars from me.
Thanks for this. I was stuck on how to get this damn thing to pieces. I'm on JSA long term & can't afford the ridiculous price of replacement. Of course I'll subscribe; it's the least I can do to return the 'favour'.
Glad you posted this, though not sure it will work on mine (a Delta). Delta has a lifetime warranty, so I'm really more curious than anything. I will be using some silicone grease on the rubber parts, as this is the main problem with mine, the adjuster has gotten hard to turn. I have had success spraying silicone spray into the spray openings, which helps for about a month. Hoping the "food grade" silicone spray I use isn't harmful..... People who try your method should post their shower head brand, and if it was successful or not, which may help others avoid breaking theirs.
Hoping you can help me out even though this video is 4 years old, at 4:26 the plastic part with the spring, when I took mine apart it only has the spring. I dont know if it was previously lost, will this cause any issues like leaking? thanks.
Nah, if it's the same shower head as this one then it wont cause it to leak. That part is what you hear clicking when you turn the head and makes it lock into the positions, it will just feel smooth when you turn it and wont lock in the positions, but will probably stay in position anyway without out it. Tho have a look on the floor, it could have fallen out when you opened the head. Hope it helps. :)
i watched this hoping you would show me how to open the shower hed at top so i can descale it.my shower head is blocked with limescale and i dont know how to remove the top part so i can clean it
That back plate, yeah I couldn't get it off. Those lugs on the outer ring at 3 and 9 o'clock look like it could be screwed in and would require a specific tool to get it off, or maybe a piece wood with screws set at the correct gap with the shower head in a vice.. or hammer and chisel/screwdriver to tap it round like you do on certain cat nuts.. but being plastic it would likely damage it a lot. I did have a small attempt at trying to get it off but it was very tight and for my shower head.. just dismantling the part I did cleaned the mechanism out. Hope the video helped somewhat tho. 👍
Why was you trying to open a brand new shower head? Trying to take one apart is kind of a last resort when cleaning products wont unblock an old blocked or scaled up shower head. It's also why I put the disclaimer in the video and also said "make sure you can feel it is turning and not breaking" because people may try this on a different model shower head that doesn't open this way and use excessive force and break them. Thank you for the dislike I guess :P Just playing it all counts as interaction. You could try returning it, worth a try!?
LeesRandomVids my water pressure isn't very strong but the water flow is good when I tested out without the shower head, I wanted to dissemble it so that I could remove the water restrictor or find some way to locate the issue within, however, there's nothing much can be done now lol, judging by my local store practice, I doubt they gonna exchange a unit due to self negligence, anyway I will take that as a lesson to not diy modify or repair a newly bought product, I hope anyone else that was planning to find a way to enhance the water flow will not take such a bold step as what I did.
@@LeesRandomVids Shower Heads don't come with an expiration date. Hi Lee, Thanks for very useful video on cleaning a Mira shower head. Although you were using an older design I was able to sort my mis-assembly out. Would you consider doing another video for the Mira Logic shower heads ? The instructions in the instruction leaflet for are-assembly after fitting the replacement O Rings kit ( Service Pack 450.08) are hopeless, inaccurate and misleading. Your video ability would sort this all out, I'm sure. Again thanks for the video of the older design.Excellent. Wondering how I will know if you do an update. I have subscribed , maybe this gets a message to me.
@@JetStream2013 Hi Jet Stream my shower head is Miara Logic but I found Lees video gave me the essentail info to clean it - see my seperate comments above

Thank you for the kind words and you are welcome, I'm glad it was useful to you 😃👍😃
Thanks fella - just needed the first few mins - once I knew it unscrewed I was home and dry. All the best.
Nice one mate! Just happy to know it helped someone out! Cheers!
Thank you so much for sharing, I have suffered for so long, I just couldn't see how to take it apart. It is just great now, thank you again.

Cheers mate , I got the exact shower head & wanted to clean it out but didn't know if it did unscrew - can have a decent shower again now :)
Thank mate I'm, glad it was useful to you. 👍😄
Useful. We have a cleaner who does a good job cleaning the head, but not a good job putting it back together. :)
I'm really glad it was useful to you. 😃
Thanks - Id never have thought it would unscrew.

Great information. Thank you for the destruction. Glad to see you were wearing gloves.
You're welcome. 👍
If Karl Pilkinton was not a comedian. he'd be this guy.

Bought a brand new shower head for 30 bucks, did the turning, now is broken, thank you I guess.

Ahh I see. Maybe you could block half the holes off, like every alternate one to up the pressure, if you could repair the the head that is.
That's funny. You wearing high button shoes Mate?
?

Hmm. Sorry Lee; I'm getting a TH-cam error message (404) when I try to subscribe.
As soon as I can sort this I'll return to complete.
