@@zouaddah4462 That's what I figured, just wanted to make sure haha. That's just the recoil of the clutch you're hearing because I jammed on the rear brakes hard and the rear tires were skipping a bit across the field which caused that noise.
Not sure if it's CVT but it's clutch driven just like a snowmobile. I actually totaled this poor thing at about 350 miles so I can't really speak on reliability but Can-Am and Polaris have always been good.
bobjones64, unfortunately, yes. I was going up a hill that was apparently too steep and it flipped backwards multiple times down the hill. I now have a 2015 Outlander 800.
I can't pull a wheelie in high on mine unless there is a jump or something and in low I have to be going up hill and in low standing on the bar. I have a 2013 500 why doesn't have as much power?
+brandon franklin Yeah my 800 Outlander gets to 60 in a hurry so the 1000 would be insane but like TheOutty500 said, I'm sure it's limited in the 70's, which is insane on a quad.
+Steve Darney these are more of a sand or general all terrain tire. They will get you through some mud but not a swamp. I went with ITP mega mayhem tires after this video and they do well in mud.
Well despite what you may think, that's actually a great way to judge power, which is what the video is all about. You won't be doing this with a 400 unless you're hanging off the back bumper. And pulling a log, etc isn't the greatest example because that all comes down to traction.
I can do wheelies super easy with my honda atc 200, is it more powerful than a renegade? Obviously, there are a lot of factors in play. I see your point though, and comparing it strictly to the wheelie power of a 400 is a fair point I guess. I just think wheelies are lame, so I was a little disappointed haha.
It's an old 3 wheeler hahaha. Wheelie machine! Get one if you like wheelies, they're way fun. I was just saying there's torque, weight, center of gravity etc. For comparable wheelers though - not a bad review. Cheers.
Really? I would think the extra power from the 570 would make it easier. Is it fully broken in? I did have to fling myself back pretty hard and work on the throttle timing to get it down but then it was pretty easy
The Renegade. Out of the hole they are about the same because the Sportsman is a bigger engine and better low end torque but it's also over 100 lbs heavier and actually has 2hp less than the Renegade so the Gade slowly pulls and has a slightly higher top speed as well, i've had mine up to 60 or 62 mph, I think it could hit 65.
I highly doubt that, maybe 65 kph, I couldn't see one touching 65 mph. Or maybe your speedo is way off. The rancher is 27hp and the renegade is 46. Have a car drive next to you or use gps to verify speed. My buddies '05 grizzly 350 tops out at like 40mph with 25hp.
+PkwyDr also test drove the 2016 outlander 1000R and it's a beast in high gear you can half throttle it and it'll stand up without effort getting the 1000R Xmr next month 89 horse power for the win Y(^_^)Y
good camera man way to get the first wheelie lmfao
Piss me right off.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy hahahaha 😅
didnt know the 500 had that much power
the clicking sound we hear is due to what ?
At what timestamp?
at 2 minutes 05

What is your max rpms when you pin it? Mines having clutching issues
Unfortunately, this one got totaled a few years back. I believe it topped out around 60 mph but can’t remember what rpm
what's the manteinance schedule? i would buy a can am 570 but i wanna know if it's realiable.
and the gearbox is a cvt?

+PkwyDr you totalled it?

Szép... még megvan?
No 😥

drunkninja13 depends on bodyweight and if it has enuff bhp or whp
hi, if the 500 does about 65mph. how fast do you think the 1000 goes?
+brandon franklin Limiter is at 76 or 78 I think. It gets there in a damn hurry too.
+brandon franklin Yeah my 800 Outlander gets to 60 in a hurry so the 1000 would be insane but like TheOutty500 said, I'm sure it's limited in the 70's, which is insane on a quad.
Is it stock?
Yep.
Omg you almost hit that cute puppy! Ban cannedhams!
I think it was just the camera angle due to the crappy camera man.
Video about the renegade and how to wheelie and the camera man goes straight to the damn Honda when he starts the wheelie LOL
Polaris but yeah. What a dick 🤣
The canam Outlander 1000 xmr is locked at 65 mph out of shop
It could do more though of course.
No smoke!
Four-stroke.
r the tires bad
No they only had 150 miles on them.
o cuz im thinking bout buy a gade r they good in the mud

thank u nice machine
oh wheelies...... yay..........

I'm assuming the 200 is a sport quad though, so it's much lighter than a 4 wheel ATV. Idk wheelies are always fun to me.

even with stock renegade tires my 2016 570 renegade wont wheelie
Really? I would think the extra power from the 570 would make it easier. Is it fully broken in? I did have to fling myself back pretty hard and work on the throttle timing to get it down but then it was pretty easy
What's faster the Rengade or the Sportsman?
The Renegade. dude my honda rancher 420 dose 65 mph

My sportsman 570 dose 75
+Dylan Downing HAH! Dude you're either trolling, drunk or high. My buddies '07 sportsman 700 did 55 mph. Also it's "does" not "dose".
+PkwyDr yea man rancher wouldn't go that fast unless added some mods to it my 2014 rancher tops out at 53 and no more even going down hill
