The renegade 800 is a very fun machine but it can be a handful for a beginner. If you haven’t drove atvs at all before I’d recommend maybe a renegade 500
@@rockspowersports thank you for the quick reply, i have one more question:). I wont use it on terrain just on the road, do these ATVs require a lot of maintenance next to the oil and filter changes for example each year?
@@bilal6872 If your staying out of the mud and water the maintenance is a lot less. I’d recommend changing the engine oil and filter once a year and the differential oils and transmission oil maybe every couple years. I know many people that don’t touch the trans or diff oils but I’d always recommend it. It’s cheap to change oil vs replacing parts.
Nice review,I saw your 1996 Polaris sportsman 500 video it looked like a better quad for off road terrain than the can am, can am has more power ,for speed I have the raptor 700 what would you advise for a good 4x4 quad
Honestly most atvs nowadays are pretty capable. This renegade is a toy pretty much. The can am outlanders are better for utility use also pretty much any of the Polaris Sportsman’s.
I just picked up an 08 renegade 800. Nice machine. 🏁🏁
Would the xxc fully adjustable shocks fit on that?
Thinking about getting a renegade 800 as my first ATV, would you recommend it?

@@rockspowersports Yep. Good tips. Also ofc ATV are for offroad, but if you are thinking to use it on asphalt you can change oil every 3000km.

The whine that you hear when your driving is the gears they are straight cut witch makes them loud
I’m not exactly sure what the whine comes from but they all have it.
It sounds like drive belt whine
The noise isn't an issue as far as I know, every single can am i've driven, including my own, makes that noise
It sound like a twin turbo triple supercharged ლ(^o^ლ)
Does the renegade ride smooth
It depends of the model I own a 2010 xxc and you can adjust the shocks
got any sxs ofor sale
No I don’t have anything for sale at the moment.
Still available?
No this was sold last year.
At Julie I’m getting it
Excellent reveiw as always. Are these fuel injected? I'm sure they are but idk for sure.
@Brian Howard Thanks! And yes these renegades are fuel injected.
Do you think the ds650 nerf bars fit on ds250 or does the raptor 250 peg fit
@Famus Hale I am not positive about that.
@@rockspowersports ok ok well look like no place has them but thx anyway
@Famus Hale Have you checked on eBay they usually have the stuff I’m looking for.
@@rockspowersports ima see about ebay
Nope I'll just slap 250r nerf bars on
