Father Bobber, the trials and tribulations that one must face on the journey of bringing life forth from dead motorcycle helps one build intestinal fortitude. As you travel this path, you must remember, tighten bolts and screws. I really enjoy watching your progress on this bike. I envy your wrenching abilities and patience on this project. As always, I can't wait till it's finished and you're rolling down the road! Ride and stay safe in Ye Olde Kentucky!
LOl the ending is great. But I feel you, it sucks when random stuff like that happens. I hope you're not waiting forever for parts like some people are.
Have one my self ya could have bought a Harley ultra but could not pass up on the price of a v92 very dependable bike very easy to work on wish I could put fuel shut off for the tank looks like you are making lots of progress on it
Have 02 v92 very easy bike to work on just clean throttle body with dry cloth then clean after market k&n filters it’s does not have original air filter bought it with 1600 miles on it had it for 2 yrs has 20k on very low maintenance but can here gear box know so will have to check it or what the book says
Try working on an 1973 Honda scrambler ripping down to frame and rebuild it only had 1800 on engine watch lots of TH-cam videos that’s how I learned to rebuild engine 1985 goldwing shaft drives are hard to get back in but did it lots of patients
I have about 12 holes in the bottom of my case on my 03 v92tc Deluxe. I bought a new case but that means I have to swap everything to the new case. It's going to be a big project that I've never done before. And tips on finding parts and seals and everything I'll need would be much appreciated. Also a manual lol.
Have you hit up Rylan at The Vic Shop? Dude knows his stuff and can point you in whatever direction you need. He’s got a great TH-cam channel or you can reach out to him directly.
Best I can give is scour eBay. Rylan at The Vic Shop also has a wealth of knowledge, I reached out to him for the fuel system. The Victory groups on Facebook also have some 92 owners that may be helpful.
Father Bobber, when you click the Kill Switch, there is a sound that happens, something engages just before you hit the Start Button, where is that sound coming from PLEASE???!!!
YES! That is it! I have a 1999 Victory V92c, but here recently it wont turn over, wants to start but wont. I have a bad fuel pump, thank you Sir and Godspeed@@FatherBobber
@@JDTGlobal the fuel pump is terrible to access on these bikes. It’s external and sitting just beneath the rear suspension. You either need to pull the spring or the entire subframe. One of these videos documented that. Good luck!
hahaha the "I'm fed up with today" face at the end was awesome. dude keep this up! I'm super excited to see it done

Yay. It sounded good for a moment, so that is a good sign.
I’m amazed at your skills. It sounded great.

Love that bike.

Keep it up. Had to replace four valve springs in my 2000 v92sc. Got the BITCH running!!
You got this, 💯
I have one too but will not break it down like you did and that’s fine it is a good running bike when it want to be after siting all winter
At least you didn’t tighten a spark plug down and have it pop out during a Presidential Escort going 80mph down the highway
YET.

Nice ride bro
Sweet ... where you get the piston ring ??
I can’t remember exactly. I think I just searched the part number but I can’t remember who it came from. This was about a year ago.

Also, this project has been abandoned. I’ll have an update for it soon.
Just started my 1999 V92c restoration any info on parts supplies I'm in Dayton OH?

Are you talking about the fuel pump priming? I put an aftermarket pump on it to get it running, it was quite a bit louder than the stock pump.

Where’s the next episode on the Vic?
Had to give that project up. I’ll explain it one day.
@@FatherBobber I’m sorry to hear that.
We need completion
Alright man. I’ll level with ya. She ain’t gonna get done. I’ll give an update soon.
@@FatherBobber awe shucks
If I had a dollar for every stupid thing I'd done I could afford a new bike instead of trying to fix up an old broken one
