OMG! You have become my new God My Guru - Im from England and a new owner of a Victory V92 SC - It was Registered in the year 2000 but it shows the speed sensor on the outside like you showed, so Im thinking 2001 - I know nothing about Victory Bikes. Mine belonged to my Best Friend who sadly passed away which is how I now own the Bike. I feel like I've got a ticking Time Bomb regarding Transmission Problems. Mine is quite noisy on Tickover but runs like a dream. I love this bike! - I can't help but feel it won't be long before I get serious issues with it. Parts over here in England are rare as hens teeth. My only choice is Ebay and all things come from America at great cost. I have learnt quite a lot from watching your Tutorial. Thank you. Believe me I would let you have my bike to do whatever you thought it needed at whatever cost. If only I were closer to your place. For now I shall ride and enjoy her while it lasts. I purchased a 2000 Victory V92SC Sport Cruiser in October - 2020. 485 actual miles. Says it was made in 1999. But it has the air box. Non smooth finish on the blacked out engine.
It has 6 recalls and had Bison Indian Motorcycles in Rogers, MN repair those. They also installed a better rectifier. I’ll be leaving it as stock as possible.
I really hope I don’t ever run into those bad transmission issues and I can ride this bike for many, many years. Smooth riding & fun bike so far.

Question. My 2000 C tach is reading way too high..registers 3 thousand rpm at idle, sometimes 5 thousand or more when @ cruise...not sure where to start. Suggestions?
Replacing the fuel pump and fuel filter comments: Do not remove the battery box as it gets you nowhere. Take out the center shock (easy job) and that will get you right to the pump and filters. Also, I'm trying a Graco SG Gun Filter for the chuck filter. Its made from SS and is a bit longer than the Victory filter, but it should work. Ride on. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Your talk about “ kill switch on”, but your motion indicates off… to me anyway. So you want the kills switch so the bike will run or won’t run to see the tbs?

I would have a question about what to do if my engine (victory v92c 1999) throws out 3rd gear. But only when you shift weakly when you are strong then you turn good. In this case, what can be done can be set on it or the whole block must be disassembled

Hi, great video. I have a workshop myself but i rarely come across v92c. This time im out of options, 2 ecm with good chips, tps set, fuel preassure good, but runs poorly, starts only with open throttle. Has issues starting when hot. Swaped the temperature sensor. Could it be the MAP sensor causing this kind of issues? AFRs are rich, even after leaning the bike out.

5g for a new trans should be enough to keep any customer out here from asking me to do one.

You have just made me reconsider the purchase of a 99 92c. Im hoping the newer Victorys aka 2011-2017 are better. Ill check out all your videos, Im sure you have addressed these as well.. So what are you doing now? I wish you were closer to my house..lol..Have a great Christmas

2000 have had same one since 2003 ride it every where all the time even to the Harley dealer to get parts for Harley
I am having an issue with my 2000 92sc when I touch the throttle without engaging the clutch as I am in gear any gear I hear a snapping clink noise coming from the right side of the clutch, transmission housing. Same once I let off the throttle. Any ideas?
Ok so I bought a what is titled as a 2000 victory v92c it had a frame swap to a v92sc as far as I was told. I've been reassembling and rebuilding things over the past Year and have replaced the entire fuel system as far as hoses and main fuel filter, I have not replaced the fuel pump. It wants to kick over but won't. The starter motor is turning over and it fired twice but won't get running. Any ideas? Thanks!

Wow just found this video, was looking at a v92 with a bad 3rd & 4th gear in the trans. Thanks so much for making this information available. The 4000.ish price you mentioned to fix the transmission is that just parts or the price for a shop to do the repair.

Hello, not the brightest light bulb but I be damn if I can understand the running lights, tail lights, do not operate on low beam or high... flashers, turn signals, four ways, hi an low bean all work.... Fuse all good, relays work correct... I cannot find a module, or switch controlling lights......I can jumper to light on the rear for tali light but I do not want to pull on all the thing to trace from the fromt... any help is appreciated... Thans Roger
Dude your video helped me tremendously, i bought the 1999,, out a garage,not been road for years , no spark , fuelpump non working, ? What fuel pressures? If key left on , does it burn fuel pump ? Chip ? So many questions?? But thank you , not giving up on her , i will ride this bike , cheers mate

Thanks for the video and the subscription I just got a 2000 victory v92c with charging problems it only has 2,860 mi on it this is a mint condition bike but it won't hold a charge no miles on this bike it won't hold a charge so I'm wondering what's wrong with it I watched your video on the charging system and I'm going to get a new rectifier and a stator like you advised you said they sell them as a package correct also the throttle positioning sensor and you said the message you about you can give me a number from where I should get one and you said there's only one person that makes the chips for the the box CDI box I believe it was if I can get that manufacturer information that would be great thanks for everything

Anyone plz help, tryn to contact the VICBUILDER for some advice. Brake light stays lit at all times, even when both switches are completely unplugged! Tested pwr in each unplugged wire... all show power 🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️🇺🇸

I just had a Polaris shop honor all the factory recalls. This ship did about 3,800 dollars worth of recall work . Allllll of it .

Changed trans years ago it wasn't to hard finding one? Maybe a salvage Arizona got lots

meikow123 check the neutral wire at the switch on the rear bottom of engine. It’s a single wire and case grounds through the switch. If it’s pinched it will stay on

When before taking tank off for winter take gas out of tank cause have after market k&n have to clean filters use dry cloth just to wipe out throdle body don’t use carb cleaner don’t need that getting in biggest bike I need getting lots older have to work the legs moving a big bike like that 1507 plenty big enough
