Brother, believe me, I've tried a lot of motorcycles, this one is one of the best. By the way, mine is from 2004, apparently the most recent copies
Just bought one of these as my first bike 💯💪
It's a fast idle lever. It opens the throttle bodies without having to use the twist throttle to warm your bike up while you get ready to ride. What I didn't know was the Efi system in these was designed by the British. Sean I had to chuckle a bit, gloves, jacket, helmet, shorts? Hahaha. I wore shorts once until I took a piece of a big rig tire to the lower leg. No more of that.
I too have had the agony of feeling a semi recapped tire hit me in the toes! Not fun.
Might buy me one of these.. it would be my first cruiser so pretty excited.. seems like a nice basic bike.
Finally I am on the road riding my 2003 Vic. First time riding in 4 years. So much fun! :)
+Sean Kerr Yes sir. Praise God is right. I am thankful. The Freedom 92 is pretty strong. This Harley rider got next to me at the light and it hit green and he was trying to race me. I gave it 25% throttle and was with him at the start. I could have smoked him. LOL. I just let him go. I like to obey the laws.
Might pick one of these up saw one for 1800. Not bad for a piece of motorcycle history

Nope not a choke, and doesn't adjust the timing. It just holds the throttle open.
use the heel shifter man... thats for upshifting as your picking up speed, and use the toe shifter to press down and downshift back to slower speeds....
I have a 2000 v92sc that I inherited from my dad. I'm looking at adding another Victory to the stable looking at possibly adding a cross country
I CUT the heal shifter right off on mine. Every time my heal bounce on it, the bike went into Neutral. NO more issues. Just use the Toe shifter.
The grips I believe are not after market because my victory has them to
runs about like my Sportster; not a bad thing ...you might mess with that fuel injection "choke" thingie...
It's a throttle advantage, for warming up.. nothing more.
Do you have one of them old victory v92 you ride Harley’s are too expensive for me 3,800 all I payed for mine has1600 but having it over 2 yrs 20 yr old bike does not look like it so have to watch it over the winter
Is this bike exactly the same bike as a 98 v92c ? There is one for sale local to me for $2000 grand and besides it not really being my style it's super clean and I could probably pick it up for $1500, that's the only reason I'd be buying it. I sold my soft tail last year and really want a bike but there's no way I'm finding a comparable bike under 2k.

@@phillipenriquez5318 there are no later than 01 SC's.. and 01 is the cush drive "fix" if it was done. It seems most of our SC's were not addressed. I have an 03 motor/trans ready when the time comes. I'm getting false neutrals and random downshifts from 3rd to 2nd. Just a matter of time now
Just don’t drop your bike with shorts on you will burn your legs make sure you can lift 700 lbs wet weight lift with your legs not your back
also could anyone chime in if ya know the answer... but how much would you all say a 200 v92 be worth today september 13th, 2018.... do you think 2800 if a high price? im thinking more 23 or 2400$ for a 200 victory v92 with 11,000 miles...

All bikes before 2002 have a transmission issue as you can hear in this ride. $800, tops. And start looking for the 2003-2005 engine/transmission replacement on Ebay. $1000

@@PeterPiccolo my bike has had the issues since I got it and since I'm aware of it, I baby the shifts.. then hard on the throttle.
Can anyone tell me how these bikes are for taller people? I’m 6’4”
Bit late for a reply, but here goes. Perfect height for someone about 6'1" with good reach. The bars are out there and pretty wide. I added 3" risers to pull the bars back a bit (found I was leaning forward and reaching w/o the risers...much better now). The bike has good torque, but the top speed could be better. What I like best is the way the bike handles - feels like a much lighter bike. I find it much better in slow tight turns then most stock HD's I've ridden. The wide bars really make the steering light and quick, so it's easy to toss around in traffic. Definitely one of the best bikes I've owned...though I did love that Magna in the early 80's. The tank, side covers, and wind-screen let down the looks a bit, but I enjoy riding it so much I sold my 2005 V-Max and now ride nothing else.

This bike was showing signs of the irreversible/catastrophic transmission problem in 2000. I have one.. false neutral, clunky shifting

In person it sounds like a beast V8. this video doesn't do the exhaust justice
