I got the same unit. It’s been a year it’s still working like a champ. Jacob the small plug you didn’t use is for the steering control.

Perfect timing! I was looking into this unit a couple days ago and I told myself that I really wanted it but I wasn't going to pull the trigger because I wasn't sure if it would be worth it. This video has changed my mind! I need it! Also PLEASE do a vid on the back up camera! I am also considering doing one.
It looks great if the OEM look is what your going for I however am still lovin my Pioneer AVH-W6500NEX with wireless Apple Carplay. It has a ton of feature and options to fit every need.
What all did you need to buy for the install?
I seriously considered getting one of these but couldn't really justify the cost. It's a nice unit though.

The Navos has the ilink pro that just plugs into the usb, and works fine

Looks nice. I am doing similar in my Mach 1 Double Din Kenwood with wireless apple car play, then major stereo upgrades.
This oem style unit looks so much better over the tesla style one, this has to be my next upgrade

There's a better why to mount the mic. I seen it on American muscle. When you had the radio out there a little pathway to go through to put it on you stearing column.
I was just doing this same thing yesterday when installing a Alpine in my 06. Took me 10 minutes to take it all apart. Super simple

I think I've seen someone with the DynaPerformance Carbon Fiber that fits the OEM nav for the 10-14 used on this navi.
Man I’ve been looking at the Dynavin setup for about a year now and have wanted it soooo bad just couldn’t afford it and now this makes me want it even more

This looks clean! I went with the maestro set up but I prefer to have an actual volume knob instead of lowering the volume with buttons on the pioneer radio. Nice set up!

Love the physical buttons. That is great. I would be worried about going with an unknown manufacturer though. I never heard of Dynavin. I went with Pioneer for that reason. I have had a couple of other Pioneer head units in other cars and have been pleased with them.
Theyre pretty good knock offs of the kenwood
I haven’t heard of them either, but the OEM look of the unit was what attracted me. I’ve had an N7 Pro in my Challenger for a while now and it’s still running strong. Because of how well it’s working for that car, I ordered the N8 Pro with wireless CarPlay for my Mustang.
Was looking at a kenwood radio with wireless Apple CarPlay but the OEM look makes me just wanna go with this. Hard decision because i already bought a dash kit and a maestro rr.

This is awesome! Like I said on one of your other posts I’ll be getting a 2011 GT and these videos are pretty good. I’m kinda wary about bags cuz to me it seems like it would hinder performance, so I’ll be doing coilovers for my height adjustment. I really plan on diving into this build over time. FYI for anyo e interested in this head unit
I installed both the dynavin N7 Pro and the Dynavin 8 for my 2014 WITHOUT the FORD SYNC module. I don't recommend installing the N7 pro without the SYNC module as I've ended up directly connecting the idatalink cable directly to my phone. The N7 has slow charging, which ontop my phone using more charge than the unit can provide causes constant freezing. I'd recommend the Dynavin 8 which is more expensive but the issues I've had with the N7 were resolved.

My '13 has the factory screen - its nice, I like it, and that unit you installed looks as good if not even better, so congratulations!

I have a Dynavin in my 2003 BMW 540 maybe for 4 years now. Totally worth it as I was also looking for an OEM look. May get this for my 14 GT. It looks like it is snappier than my older unit.
I have the navos on my 14’ exactly the same but mine doesnt have CarPlay, definitely like the dynavin more

I wonder if you could get that same style carbon for the factory big screen, and if it would fit on the aftermarket radio or if the spacing would be different. Assuming you wanted the carbon again.

Looks great. I have 06 Mustang and put aftermarket radio, I put my mic up by rear view mirror. I’m interested seeing what backup camera you bought. I put one on with radio but it’s not good color when on.

Hey Doty, curious if you saw ThatDudeinBlue new radio install...its a Tesla style 12in screen with OEMish trim with a dongle it's about 600-700....thought comparing the two?
I cant compare the two but I will say that the Dynavin Pro is Awesome!!! I have it and have no issues at all!! It looks good to....

The new dash looks sick. I just may have to cop one🤔 my magnetic iPad on the dash is cool but it doesn’t always hang on too well with the power 😂
What about the heated seats button?
If your car is equipped with OEM heated seats then you snap that one in, and it’ll work automatically.
Same thing happened to mine. Ended up being the head unit. $80 bucks and it’s fine now

Yes they are partner with Dynavin but make sure you get the Pro which is the latest version with Apple Car Play!!

Will be interested to see your back up camera. With my 2014 GT/CS, they didn’t come with the cameras since the spoiler is different/elevated. Would love to find out if I can add one with my OEM touchscreen system. Surely it’s just a feature in the software that has just been disabled.

Carplay will allow you
To show Apple navigation, it’ll read your text messages and allow you to reply with your voice with Siri, and allows you to switch apps that are compatible with it on the head unit itself. Supposed to be safer so you don’t look down and mess with your phone while driving. I’ll cover this in my next video I film today

Wow I would love this. My American Muscle Raxium unit went bad the touch screen does not work so my navigation does not work and American Muscle would not make good on this crappy Raxium unit as it died right after warranty went out. My car has super low miles and was never abused or used that much. The quality of the Raxium unit us garbage.
I have a 2012 Mustang and really considering the Dynavin N7 Pro. I really like the OE style and would like to continue with that appearance. Does the system come a backup camera or is that a separate purchase. Now that you had the system for a while do you have and concerns with it? As you know there are allot of brands and so many to choose from, but out of all of them this still looks like a good choice. Would appreciate any thoughts.
