@@pixxelationsmost are cheap garbage by it's quality and android support being so outdated. Anything over $300 is too much and shouldn't even be that much. In terms for bang for buck Amazon sells kits but they're also not the best
Unfortunately, after your N7 Pro video I also bought it, would have preferred to wait. But I have to say with the N8 the software is better but still not perfect. I would actually expect more for the price.
I’m currently in the middle of installing the head unit in my car. For the dynavin 8, do I still have to plug in the adapter under the glovebox or just leave out that step?

Kinda curious if they fixed the button glitching from the N7…my n7 will skip songs and go to other apps when I’m trying to do volume. They say it’s my terminals but all mine are clean…also curious about the start up time..

Hey bud can I ask you a seperate question well I just bought the dynavin 8 thanks for the coupon, I bought an amerihood carbon fiber hood do they have large gaps it is it not adjusted correctly the body guy that’s putting it told me do t expect it to be perfect, I’m regretting not putting. The stock one back on unless he doesn’t know how to adjust it,thanks love your channel, I have a 14 gt sterling grey, thanks any info will help

I just recently installed the back up camera that came with dynavin 8 pro and backup camera showing reversed image. Like if I put a water bottle on the right side and on the camera it will show the water bottle on the left side. Is there a fix to this? Thanks
Hey man, this might be a dumb question but i’m just curious. In my 2011 GT my backup camera is in the rear view mirror. Is there a way to display that on to the infotainment screen or would i have to purchase the aftermarket camera to do that.

@Miguel Madriz my bad. I just reread your comment. But no, I didn't have all of that. I just upgraded because it was about time. My only complaints with it is:
1. Even connected to Hotspot, its still slow.
And Android auto seems slow, the map is barely visible in daylight, and just seems useless to me.
But other than that, I like it. Isn't as eye catching as I thought it would be lmao.

I purchased the same setup as you. My backup cam is a little loose. Do you remember the nut size so I can try to wrench it tight as I just went hand tight.
im dropping my car off today with the 8 Pro and the same backup camera. (Ive been holding onto this thing since it dropped lmao probably a new version coming out soon)

Just installed this unit. I have a shaker 500 and did not need to use the extra harness that is supplied. I set mine up exactly like yours and everything is working perfect
Is your sound normal? I had the shaker 500 and I followed the diagram, my sound sounds hollow if I can describe it
@@themrrd12345it sounds normal to me. I’ve heard not to follow the supplied diagram for some reason. I set it up exactly like he did in the video. I only use wireless CarPlay no wired connection or radio.

@@Camj27i have a shaker 500 system and when i dont use the wiring harness i get a weird hiss coming from the unit. according to the diagram if that happens im supposed to use it. not sure why some need it and others don’t.

Yo! How did you turn off the Ford Sync system from syncing to your phone? I had a problem with dropping calls because sync would still be connecting. I would have to go in my phone and disconnect from Sync so I could use my calling feature. So annoying.

Unplug the box in your glove box. That’s the sync module. If you watch the n7 video he shows it

Just installed mine was having some issues with the premium wires working only was able to get the base model one to work, and volume doesn’t go up past 50% any advice?
I had the same problem, but if you disconnect the premium wires and do it his way as a base model even if you have a premium, the audio is very loud. I was sad at first until I did this.

How did you connect the red wire? i think everything on mine is screwed thanks to a previous install best buy did. I had a back up camera that worked on the previous radio head and now it doesn't. All i have loose wires everywhere. Ironically i asked best buy if they could install the Dynavin for me, i was willing to pay for that standalone service, the declined because "they don't touch these 'made in china' radios", pissed me off. Do you know anywhere i could go to have this installed?

Anyone having static noise when playing music on wireless apple car play?? If so pls help me fix it!!
In my 2014 I have a OEM navigation head unit. If someone has the base radio, it makes total sense to upgrade but cars with OEM navi unit already has most of these settings. One major issue with OEM is it doesn't support Android or Apple. I've been using a phone magnet to run maps off of my phone, but you cannot play any music app when you have gmaps going on your phone. So, can you play spotify or something like that when your map is running? That would be the decider for me.

I got the N7 like 4 or 5 months ago but this is tempting is it worth the upgrade?
Ultimately it's up to you. I got spoiled with Wireless CarPlay in the Bronco and have fallen in love with it. If you intend to use the Google Play Store and screen mirroring is important to you, then this is a great upgrade from the N7. If it's not then you're set with the N7!

Are you using the stock antenna or a cheap shorty? I have a “premium” shorty that was $30 ish vs the cheap Amazon $10 ones and that makes a massive improvement. So far so good.

Does it support displaying the navigation on your phone instead of using the car's navigation? I have an Android and Google maps is far superior to the car's navigation.
I think my radio just kicked the bucket. Was hoping it was just a blown fuse but wasn't that lucky. Looking at this Dynavin and a Navos. (Theres a cheaper option on Amazon called a PX6 but Im a bit skeptical) Not sure which way to go.
Don’t go PX6. I just installed it on my car, and while your driving about every 45 seconds the a/c controls pop up on the screen for no reason. I talked with everyone about it and there is no fix for it. And all of them do it. I’m returning the PX6 tomorrow. I already ordered the dynavin 8 pro. Not to mention the sound quality for the PX6 was terrible. It didn’t sound nearly as good as the stock head unit. I hope the dynavin sounds much better.
@@herethereandgone So I just got my Dynavin in the mail today and installation (thanks to this video) was super simple. Let me put your worries to rest. The sound quality on this thing is amazing in comparison to the stock radio. I have a small 8' MTX bass tubes that I added and it provided some ok bass with the original radio and the quality was a bit better when using the aux. As soon as I fired up the Dynavin though it was like that thing was unleashed (to the point I had to turn the tube down.)

I have been fighting with my Dynavin 8 Pro for about 8 Months now, trying to get the steering wheel controls to work. I have a 2013 V6 (Coyote Puppy) without any electric mods and I just can't crack the code and get those suckers to function in my Pony Pup. I am starting to think it is my punishment for not getting a 5.0 Any advice? 😢

Can you tell me just how reliable it will be for the long term? So far i fucking love it. It's my dream car.. but I wanna know how it holds out in the long term. You're set as long as you do the proper maintenance. The 6r80s are STOUT. You're fine for the long haul man. Just keep up on fluids and give it quality fuel.
