The ones where the pitcher throws at the batters head, then the batter steps back in the box, and hits a home run, take huge gonads. By committing to a swing like that, they are totally giving themselves up, if another pitch is thrown at their head. Major props to them.

Giancarlo Stanton & Mike Fiers had history already. In 2014, Stanton was having an MVP level season with the Miami Marlins when Fiers hit him in the face with a pitch and broke his cheekbone & orbital bone, causing him to miss the last 4-5 weeks of the season (and a likely first MVP award, which he’d later win in 2017).
That 2014 event actually caused a redesign to helmets where batters can opt for an alternative kind of helmet that includes a sort of jaw/cheek protector on the side facing the pitcher (Stanton has worn that type ever since)
So when Fiers threw hit Stanton again here (which since Stanton is with the Yankees, is sometime since 2018), Stanton clearly took some meaning to it beyond a random event

Depends on the stadium and game, but you can get decent MLB tickets for $40 to $50.... Cheap seats are usually around $15....
But the more expensive seats can be will into the few hundred dollar range...

Seat prices can easily run in the hundreds for good MLB seats (for normal season games), but the whole experience runs up a ton of money. I usually consider taking my family to a game to be around $500 total to get "decent" seats and the rest of the whole event.
$20 parking, $100 food/beer, $250 on seats, then a souvenir or two for the kids.
It's a blast in person, there's so much to do at MLB parks, and as the game is slow, you can move around like a theme park, especially with your family. They are always ultra family friendly. It costs way too much still for how many games that are hardly attended.

18:00 You would be surprised by how many players start thinking about how they are going to showboat/celebrate the TD long before they actually get the TD. Doing so they are not concentrating on their surroundings giving the opponents the chance to stop them before they scored the TD.
Once WR DESEAN JACKSON did something similar when he ran a 95 yard punt return but before he crossed the line into the endzone he deliberately dropped the ball at the 1 yard line with the nearest opposing player 30 yards away from him and started celebrating his TD.
When the moron was celebrating and showing off the opposing players caught up with him and recovered the football and started running in the opposite direction.

Kabir, you can look up something called a _Fan Cost Index_ which gives you the typical cost of tickets, parking and refreshments for a family of 4 for each home location/team in MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL.
Highest in baseball is Boston $385, lowest is Phoenix $152. Every team has 81 regular season home games, and those can vary by matchup, day of week, and availability if you're buying from a third party.

    • @ergoat
      @ergoat ปีที่แล้ว

Hmm, not sure where you're getting $152 for a family of four in Phoenix, or anything near that low at any MLB stadium. $34 is the league average for tickets; let's say they have rare discount nosebleeds = 4 X 20 = $80. Parking is $30 most place (ridiculous), let's say here it's $20. Parents have one adult beverage each, that's $24 (ugh, just one beer? Yeah right.) So that leaves $28 for kids' sodas, and food for four. IE, over $152, which in this economy with this inflation is laughably awful, and why stadiums across the country are near empty.

I'm a Dodgers fan but live now in Florida. When they come to Miami to play the Marlins I drive down and see all 3 (sometimes 4) games. I always sit in Section 211 next to the party lounges. they're great seats.....with a bar 10 rows or so behind us. those seats are around $55-$60 each. Of course I believe Miami had the lowest priced seats in MLB. I love the stadium because it's an indoor stadium.....no hot and humid air.

  • @malalaz66

The prices of seats in baseball depend on three major factors. First of all which stadium are you going to? I know the tickets at what is now called Oracle Park in San Francisco are pretty expensive just cause you’re going to Oracle Park. Second question who’s playing at the time? In San Francisco whenever the Dodgers play the Giants, the tickets are higher. And third of course, is where you’re sitting. The higher the seats, the lower the price normally. At Oracle, seats can cost as high as $300-400. And can be as low as $20. (We are talking official box office prices.

My team, the Cincinnati Reds, had a fire sale last off-season and got rid of almost all of their talebt and fan favorites... for some stupid reason.
They sucked this year so bad that management was offering $9 nosebleed seats and loke $15 for mid-level seats. In the sporting events world these are ridiculously low prices, but then again, when you intentionally give the buying public a shitty product, you shouldn't be surprised that no one wants to come watch.
Bottom line, you've got to spend money to make money.

The Bucaneers against Cowboys ticket high price 31000. dollars. I saw Lions play with a bus load from my local pub. Group rate was 60.00. About 50 people went on our two buses. Mlb tickets depend on the teams record, who they face, day of game, and the time of the game could all effect ticket prices. They are relatively cheaper than football because they play alot more games. However 100 dollars will generally get u a pretty decent seat and 100 dollars in Oakland u can probably sit anywhere u like.

Ticket prices vary. I'd say the margin between tickets at Fenway or Yankee stadium are remarkably more expensive compared to the stadium the Rays or Indians play. With how empty the stands are, you could probably get a nose bleed seat and just move up front and they wouldn't care, don't quote me on that.
