      @@highlandergunn9240 Wow, okay.
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
      aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin’ man,
      the Skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,
      for a three hour tour,
      a three hour tour.
      The weather started getting rough,
      the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
      the Minnow would be lost,
      the Minnow would be lost.
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle,
      With Gilligan,
      the Skipper too,
      A millionaire and his wife,
      A movie star,
      The professor and MaryAnn,
      Here on Gilligan’s isle.
So this is the tale of our castaways,
They’re here for a long, long time.
They’ll have to make the best of things,
      It’s an uphill climb.
The first mate and his Skipper too,
      will do their very best,
      to make the others comfortable,
      in their tropic island nest.
No phone, no lights, no motor car,
      not a single luxury.
      Like Robinson Crusoe,
      it’s primitive as can be.
      So join us here each week my friends;
you’re sure to get a smile,
      From seven stranded castaways,
      Here on Gilligan’s isle.

I’ve been on 8 cruises, all with Carnival with no problems BUT if cruisers actually read the agreement, most would be horrified! On my last cruise… Port Authority busted in to our cabin before 6am, while we were sleeping and put us out in the hall (barely dressed!) and ransacked our room. They wouldn’t speak to us at all, much less explain what they were looking for or why. All is LEGAL and in the agreement. READ the fine print before you sign.

4-5 knots is a completely normal tow speed,
remember, you have to connect to the vessel being towed -
there are only so many ways you can connect, and pulling too hard
will literally rip the deck fitting off the vessel.
In the grand scheme of world shipping, a 100,000 ton vessel is large,
but not exceptionally large, there are hundreds of cargo vessels heavier than
100,000 tons. A lot of this commentary is really just uninformed hype -
trying to paint the situation worse than it actually was.
