I made this! Not exact but very close. I was running a good number of longer boards between 2-4 inches wide, and decided to be a bit safer. So I took the day and just figured out what I wanted based off of this idea. Tomorrow, back to cleaning up that pallet wood!
Thanks for the idea... splitting that fence longways, put the fence controls on one side and the router vac on the other with the opening for the router bit and vac slot....

this is good idea. now more convenient and practical. Congratulations my friend.
Gunna have to take the ute up to the big green shed and get a sheet of form ply. I made a tenoning jig, but it's not ideal with the factory fence of the 745. The extra bit of in-feed will be handy, especially if I manage to put it on the right way round!
Great Been thinking about this type of fence for some time but seeing yours coming out so well I'm definitely going to build one. My entry-level cast iron cabinet top needs a better fence than the one it came with.
good on ya Mark, I love the way you own your errors. We all make them , how many times have I cut enough pieces for two boxes , only ending up with one....... Dickhead !
Got inspired to build this myself, however, I'm running into an issue and hoping you might have some insight. When I build mine the fence is sturdy. The issue I'm having is with the fence that flips over and how that wobbles. Since the backside of the new fence is referencing that it tends to want to tip over. What did you do to solve that? Cheers
As everyone has said in the comments great idea you should have copyright income from this one. I will have to have a go at this as well. Looking forward to the next video. Steve Tas
Lucky you. Phenolic plywood non-existent here in the US! If you find it, its online. Size is so small so one could build a tooth pick holder perhaps and also before it ships they will send a surgeon to your door to remove a kidney as a deposit. In Europe is almost a scrap. They use it for concrete forming etc. Go figure. Greetings to down under.

I am going to do this to my Dewalt tablesaw. Great idea!!
Love the bit of extra infeed support. Just bought the Dewalt 7491RS…I think that’s a great safety enhancement. I’d like to keep all my fingers! 😂
Had an issue where the fence met the floor unexpectedly, causing a dent in it which makes ripping boards on it very hard. This is a fantastic idea
I smell a sequel in the works. Or a full blown franchise series of accessories

That's a great idea for the fence, probably will help keep the fence parallel to the saw blade too.
Will be building this for my 10" Dewalt, thanks for rhe upload
No problem 👍
Good job, good idea and I think I'll do it when I have my table saw set up in a mobile bench
simple , easy and effective ! love it.
Nice Idea, I like the laminated ply, about 5 million dollars a sheet over here, They accept body parts
I could really do with making this for my Dw745 as well, definitely would benefit from the infeed.
looks good Mark!!!! good to see your finally using the new workbench haha
Great job and getting he extra few inches at the end is always good…😄
nicely done mate! Gotta love that form ply
Nice improvement!
Nice build mate and idea. Cool video and funny as always 😄
Good job Mark. I'm very interested in how the extra length effects infeed and outfeed, if it does at all. Keep up the good work. All the best, Brian.
Nice idea that mate, wish I'd thought of that when I had my site saw, that always pissed me off how little the depth was especially with sheet goods!
Mate...cracking build and cracking edit on the video. My saw is the same as yours so l reckon l may just be stealing this idea. Good stuff.mate 👍😁🇦🇺
@@dainermade 😂😂
Amazing video these add on are essential but your sense of humour is one of the best on TH-cam
Great addition to the saw mate. Love formply too. Just curious about the title, do you mean an instead of and?
Mate great idea,oh, and nice apron….mum had one when was he worked in the kitchen …..😜😜😂😂😂
Although it’s the wrong way it’s great to see honesty on a video rather than look it’s finished all sorted

Cheers mate, awesome video and build i been looking to upgrade my fence like this.
@@dainermade i do, but still want to upgrade 😃💪
Nice little upgrade mate, love the apron. Is it from the local bunnings? Cheers.

Noice! Now what happened to that super cool insert plate you made for this saw? That stock one has seen better days!

Good job Mark. Just so you know, DH moves (dumb ass in my case), seem to occur more often the older you get. Darlington, South Carolina USA
I like your videos. Informative and down to earth. You keep it real man, and I like that. You’re a funny MFer!! Keep up the good work!
Gotta say, this has the common issue of being hard to follow information due to music noise. Would appreciate it more with clean sound.

I didn't think that little bit was worth it, so I made one bigger
