- Hello! Today I'm joined by Eric Striffler of the TH-cam channel @PrettyMuchIt. It's been my favorite channel for a very long time. What a dream. We thought it could be fun to play through one of Bear Grylls' interactive Netflix shows. He's got a bunch of these, so if you want to check the rest of them out I can't recommend them enough haha.

My biggest gripe with this show is that you never see Bear Grylls die when you pick the wrong choice, he just bails. What if I want to see him fall to his death because my actions have consequences?
I just imagine they dress up a mannequin like him and throw it down the mountain looking like a rag doll

Me and my cousin love to stay up late and play these. There’s another one where he’s running from a “wolf” and he asks like “should i run or scare it away” and he “scares” it by just pointing a stick at it and saying “back back” it’s hilarious. We quote that scene a lot lol. And his acting in the one in this video about what he happens to remember and “forget” is so bad it’s good.

8:30 On a tour of some catacombs/bone rooms on a school exchange in Germany, our tour guide disappeared. Me and two friends went looking and we turned a corner and he was standing like that and with a light on behind him. I don’t know how much English he knew (we’re Australians) but we definitely had some choice words. Whenever someone does that I’m just reminded of that time in Jan 2013 and the smell of the place and everything. We don’t have places like that in Australia, so we were already creeped the fuck out. He had an evil smile on his face, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Bear Grylls in: The Illusion of Choice
I did this with my dad last night and we were laughing so hard because it was so stupid. One thing I noticed is that when he made the bearskin into a jacket thing, look at the neck part, you can tell it was tailored. And when he went to the tunnels, there was somehow a full lantern thing that's been there for probably years. And why would the pilot ask bear to come get him then hit him?

I watched the first episode before watching this bc it seemed fun, and it feels like Dora the Explorer for grown ups.
Highly recommend bc it’s hilarious, but this choose your own adventure game will have you raging if you’re not careful

i think the actual only thing that would have improved this video is a "drink piss" option
You 2 should make this a series assuming it’s a series and not a one off. It could just be over webcam if you live too far apart for regular videos.

I remember my ex and I playing the interactive DVD version of Final Destination 3. One of the choices was a scripted coin flip and it just...ended the movie? They didn't go near the Rollercoaster and everyone was just fine and the credits rolled.
