- THE GREAT EDDIE CROSSOVER!! The most highly anticipated event of the decade. Eric from @PrettyMuchIt is back, and this time he's showing me a sitcom from 1999 called "100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd". I didn't have a clue what this was about when he suggested it, and I think it's fair to say we went on a journey.

Nickelodeon teaching kids that their actions have consequences... throwing rocks = car explosions
The rock didn't cause the explosion ... it was just the last straw in the car's life of ceaseless abuse
Technically it could happen, it would need a severe engine problem and would of probably been exploded by something else but it's not impossible, (like forest fires but less likely/needing a higher sudden temperature)
It's more possible than the wizard that's for sure
It was an old car the hitpoints were almost depleted
The fact that they only made it to 40 deeds before the show's cancellation is hilarious

i remember watching the show. and then it'd get to a point where it'd stop showing new episodes and just show it all over again from ep1. i didn't know it got cancelled, i thought the network my country aired it on just didn't buy anymore episodes.
the show literally needs 100 episodes, it's dumb that nickelodeon didn't made a full 100 episodes order to ensure the show had closure
Or a series finale where he has his final 60 deeds done in a montage and the finale is about the last good deed.

They would have needed more than 100. At one point they took away deeds he had accomplished which pushed him farther back.

@@Ray_Vun That is a good idea but this is Nickelodeon we are talking about. Their shows (even their popular ones) never really lasted long. They cancelled shows early often and very rarely did the shows get a series finale.

I’m will always be upset that whoever thought of this show’s title never got their wish of having Nickelodeon forced to make it to 100 episodes. Also, that there wasn’t an end to it, such a bummer. This show had so many unanswered questions from me.

Hey Scott, I know you probably won't see this but I really think you should take a look at the left behind video game from the early 2000s. It's Called left behind: eternal forces. Apparently you literally kill people who aren't Christians in the game, and it sounds absolutely crazy and weird, something that I think is right down your alley of video ideas. Just thought I'd share the idea and keep up with the fantastic content!
I had that game. It was around the time I was reeeeeally into the Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth real time strategy game. I was too young and dumb to figure out how to play the Left Behind one lol.
Oooh, I've heard of that game. Never played it. Left Behind as a series isn't even like... an accurate adaptation of the Revelations stories, so I'm always amused at how many people go, "Why, I never!" at the details of the game.

I don’t know if Nickelodeon didn’t air these episodes in chronological order but I remember every episode the deeds bounced around to different numbers and it was so frustrating because I just wanted to know what his human face looked like

I really like the premise of this show, and feel like it could easily be remade. A bully who comes from a troubled home ends up getting a great family and learns how to be a good person by turning into a dog.
Wish they'd got a bit heavy in a few episodes and delved into why Eddie was such a delinquent, maybe showed that his parents' and his home were rough, either via flashbacks or via Eddie/Justin visiting.
I literally got chills when I saw the “99” in the hedges. This episode made me laugh so hard! Pls do the rest

“100 Deeds” was more early 2000s Nickelodeon, though it premiere a couple months before the ‘90s ended, running from October 16, 1999 to April 21, 2002.
My mom thought that me wearing studded belts meant I was going to be like her brother who got in bar fights regularly where people struck each other with those belts. They’re nearing 70 these days. I don’t associate those studded belts with violence, but Eddie’s wristband is just a miniature edition of my old Hot Topic belt. Those belts hopped off the Villain Wagon and started hanging around the goth and emo kids
for me it's the fact that Eddie as a dog kept on wearing the studded wristband😂

I actually still think about this show regularly even though it's been more than 20 years since I've seen it. I think about it in the sense of waking up as a dog one day and only having one human boy to talk to. I also think a lot about the one episode where Eddie is trying really hard to be good but ends up biting a mailman because the mailman turns into a juicy steak in front of his eyes
I literally just found this channel like a week or less ago lol this is the second video I've seen with this eric guy and I just have to say it.. this is one of the funniest duos I've seen in a long time 😂 they somehow bring out each other's funnyness and they have very similar senses of humor lol I really really enjoy seeing these two people in a video together.

Imma go out on a limb here and say that this show was just ahead of its time. This is a black comedy disguised as a kids show. Make this a show for older teens / adults and go all-in on both the absurdist comedy as well as the batshit insanity and real life cruelty and you have "what if It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but with a dog?"
