I've experimented with Zen Sangam sketchbooks before, but I found that their quality didn't quite meet my expectations. So, I decided to switch to Menorah sketchbooks, and I've been having a fantastic experience creating my artworks in them!
Yeah, do review their watercolor paper. I had bought their 24paper x 2packs. Unfortunately, the paper was not properly sized. It bloated up the water unevenly, and lints were formed when I tried wet on wet. It was such a sad story and I lost all the hard earned money I put in it 😭 I want to know if it was just my product that's bad. Mine was 25% cotton. Looking forward to the videos.
When I first watched one of your videos I thought you might have around 100k subscribers because of how detailed and high quality your videos are, but I was shocked to see that you only have 2k subscriber. ma'am you deserve a lot more than this. I am thinking of buying cause I am a beginner and I really want to change from beginner stuff to professional art supplies. if you will do a review it will help me a lot. keep going!
No it won't. Normally if you're using gouache without a lot of water, you just need to get paper which is at least above 160 gsm. But if you want to use it as watercolor consistency, you need to get at least 300 gsm paper, as lesser than that will bloat the paper.
Absolutely. The paper is thick enough to take acrylic quite well. You can check out the other zen sangam video on my channel for an acrylic painting on zen sangam watercolour journal
I am not too sure. If I manage to get hold of alcohol markers, I would definitely check and update. But it’s good quality 300gsm cold press paper so if you have worked on anything comparable, you may get an idea on compatibility with alcohol markers.
