Your method has the hidden "Walk past the radiator not need to remove it" method!! Great job. Very thorough and informative....I caught that disclaimer...use only Nissan fluid for radiator. 😅
Came here to see how to remove the alternator. Great job showing how its done. FYI, turning up the volume on your radio doesn't increase load. Checking the charging system under load, is turning the ac and lights on
Who in the world told you your radio wasn't a load.... It takes a lot of amperage to run those speakers... The radio is just as big of a load, if not bigger, than your headlamps.
Removing your positive from your battery is always your best bet. Any bolted metal would still ground that battery if it touched the cable. Great video overall.
All the videos ive seen dont mention the size of the 2 alternator bolts. Do you happen to remember? I know its a 14 for the tensioner but the alternator what size are they? Id appreciate if you got back to me thanks. Also if a socket or wrench was used
@@ultimatediyguy395 appreciate it. Just did it myself and man its quite the job haha. What flustered me was I wasn’t able to put on my new serpentine belt. Took me so many tries and i just couldn’t get it. Same size and everything. Only thing i could think of is the new belt is very sturdy and not worn. My old belt wasn’t worn as much as I thought it’d be so i put it back on and bam it went in so easily. I think the old one has some elasticity to it but not too much to where itd be a problem
I have a 2019 Sentra, no lights on on my dashboard AT ALL, battery resting at 12.7 and battery manufactured last year in June. I’ve been quoted bad battery and alternator problems even though when running test it shows no starter or alternator problems smh. 🤦🏽♀️
Well im assuming they gave you a reason why they said that right? I’ve seen alternators over charge and cause the electrical system to shut down. Also I’m assuming your battery is the correct group size? Maybe check fuses to

Very nice walk through, thanks for the video.👍🏼
How many labor hours? What would a shop charge for that job?
