If you do not have a jack to lift the engine a bit then simply remove the positive cable from battery, then unplug the harness from the alternator. Remove the positive cable from the back of the alternator. Then remove the 2 bolts securing the alternator from its bracket. You'll do this so you can move the alternator to the left about 6" til it's out of your way & slightly under the intake. Once you do that you can access the tensioner. Install tensioner and reinstall alternator paying close attention to make sure the bottom bolts goes into the groove in the metal bracket. Once that bolt is installed you can roll the alternator toward the engine and install the top bolt. Reattach the wiring connector to the alternator and then install & tighten the positive lead on the alternator. Reattach the positive terminal onto the battery. Reassembly is done in reverse order of dismantling. Lastly install the serpentine belt.

@@YOUCANIC do you mind if I ask why they need to have marks don’t it just only go back one way? Sorry for all the questions I’m getting ready to change my tensioner
@jashaunn you don't have it jacked up high enough brother. Follow the videos instructions. So long as you have a piece of wood on the jack you shouldn't hurt anything so don't be afraid to jack it up.

Ridiculous that the bolt is completely blocked off. I just drilled a hole on the body big enough for the bolt to come out
Just undo the motor mount and jack up the engine it's not too hard honestly
@@Rjj2721still doesn’t come out, I currently have mine jacked up and it’s still blocked off
