    I do not understand why you all are ripping these men up. These are their thoughts, their desires, their likes and dislikes. They are being open and honest. It's not for you to like or dislike. Many women want a man to be honest, but when it's not what we want to hear, we get upset. If you are not COMPLETELY open and accepting of WHATEVER is going to come out of a man's mouth, don't ask for the truth. Then we wonder why men don't want to tell us the truth or are not COMPLETELY honest with us. I appreciate these men stepping up to be open and honest.

      nessa14492 true and I did not say I agreed or disagreed, but I did say I appreciate their honesty and we should not rip these men (or anyone) up for being honest and having an opinion. It's one thing to respectfully disagree, it's another to be downright rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate, judgmental, and demeaning. The comments we see are rude, disrespectful, judgmental, demeaning, inconsiderate, etc. My point was if we continue to display these qualities to someone who is willing to step out in front of the dang world and be honest how do you expect them to continue to be honest if all they receive is negative feedback on THEIR opinions? How can we honestly expect the next generation (who will be taking care of us one day) to do better if we don't show them? I don't know about you but I want better for our future. Then we have to wonder why some black men refuse to date within their race. Look at how WE are talking to them and treating them for having a dang opinion!

    After watching this video and reading the responses, I understand why some women have expressed the frustrations and annoyances with the dialogue of the men in this video. I believe, what it comes down to is that their statements come across as juvenile and boyish, with quite a childish take on sexuality. As women, (of a certain age) we enter the bedroom with the expectation that a man has, on his mind, an approach to sex that makes us feel safe, secure and valued. There is very little in what these gentlemen said that makes me feel any of the above. I think we've come to a point in our culture, where sex has become trivialized, meaning it often lacks the sensuality and sharing that many women enjoy about sex. Granted, when it comes down to it, we want to share those intense moments as well. However, their lack of sensitivity reveals to me that they are missing the point of it all. I suppose, many women come here to this page to be enlightened about the inner workings of a man's relationship with intimacy, not to hear the boyish banter we encountered here. What would have been nice? well, to hear some grown men having this discussion. When I say "grown," I mean those men who are secure and know how to communicate their desires in a healthier way.

      +Francesca Fraser Yess!!! I'm all about hearing what a man wants, but if you're wanting a woman to hear you and take you seriously, then maybe the conversation shouldn't be juvenile locker room talk from beginning to end. Include some maturity in the conversation, if there maturity there.

    I like the way that the guy in the pink shirt thinks. He's right about it taking the right man to bring the freak out of you and you being good with him dominating you. It's all about the man, the way he treats you and his approach that unlocks the wildness in you.

      @OG_Bap 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Edward Daniels, just because you're too immature to understand it doesn't make it BS. A woman will want to be freaky if the man is making her feel "safe" enough to. Some aspects of sex, and even the act of sex is a woman giving away her essence. If yall don't connect on that level, then obviously both of yall are just horny. & all you'll get is a nut. Can't expect anything else. Really don't know why it's so hard to understand.

    Too many generalizations.
    "Some" of us don't like to get oral. "Some" of us prefer to give oral. We all don't like "Animal" sex - or rough sex...or being called a "B" or choking etc... it's not a race thing... unless you all have had sex with EVERY Black woman ... then you can't generalize us.
    You also don't know that in the White culture they always discuss sex -- you don't know that -- so, stop generalizing...
    And thank you for continuing to view Black women via the "Saartjie "Sarah" Baartman imagery... thanks for that -- "riding us like we're animals"... like, huh -- seriously ???" SMH!!!
    Best part of this video starts at 10:49... anything before that -- ya'll missed the mark!

    The 1 st season of Ask a Black man was better because the black men didn't stereotype and /r generalize black women. Now, you have too many clowns in this season who have the audacity to lump all black women into a single category based on their miserable experience.
    WTF ???!!!

    • @Taylor987-h8j
      @Taylor987-h8j 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @sabadaga1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Chris Parnell Ok. I already explained myself in my statement, let me reitarate it. The bottom line was that in the 1st season, the black men were moore respectful towards back wmen while staying honest. Here y'all act like dating a white girl is an honor and on top of that you generalize negatively on black women.
      You guys are pathetic to say the least.

    • @chrisparnell3183
      @chrisparnell3183 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sabadaga1 you're so one sided. That's pathetic. You probably feel like this is so true and it hurts. I never once glorified other races. Because of my environment and what I was exposed to led me to be introduced to many races. I stepped outside of my race because I was exposed to it. Think out side the box before you call someone "pathetic". You saying that sounds like you're in your own feelings. We all been hurt but don't use negative comments to make yourself feel better.

    • @sabadaga1
      @sabadaga1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Chris Parnell Here with go again with the " truth hurts. You are a black man so you should know better than anyone how stereotypes can affect your life in a negative way. But still many of y'all on this panel had no problem stereotyping your own race. Now tell me how pathetic that sounds ???

    well Im 38 and a virgin by choice (yes I waiting for marriage) I cant compete will other women in that area. I pray that I am found by someone mature enough to handle that. I have a lot to offer! I'm not repressed or shy I don't fear sex as some men think. I'm a blank page looking forward to the day I can meet someone that will wait and then teach me.. for years my friends would say that I know more about sex than people having it, but i just say that my insight is different

    I've heard black men say I dont date black women or I only date latina or white women...& cheer about it... but I've yet to hear a black man say I only date Black Women & Cheer about it...is it an accomplishment to date outside your race?...how insecure & oppressed that black man felt growing up that they would verbally separate themselves from a black woman & add value to another race of women with confidence?
    Did you hate how you grew up and compared your life to others non-black?
    Do you think you're not attractive and need validation by dating outside your race?
    Its like a person who never had something finally get it together and look down on the people they we're in the mud with... dating outside your race doesn't mean you made it to heaven or things will change dramatically...That goes for anybody... Look at the state of the world..we all got issues..some more noticeable than others...
    I think people make themselves believe it's different or better..
    Other than that great meet up..they were interesting to watch ❤

    While I appreciate Madamnoire’s approach in having uncut and raw conversation, it also does some disservice. It makes these brothers appear to be very juvenile and like animals. It makes the woman reading this feel no more than a just a tool. Men would find that they would probably get more of what they like in bed if they made women feel more safe and secure in the relationship. If you are wanting every encounter to have the uncharted passion you’d find in an one night stand, then you are setting yourself up for disappointment. For a woman (not a girl), sex (and good sex) begins with affection. Affection is the environment. Sex is the event. This also shows why it’s very important to really get to know a person before jumping into bed with them. Discussions on what you like, don’t like, aren’t comfortable with, what will make it better, etc. will save a lot of time and energy in the long run. But hey…these days, folks just want what they want and then get mad because they didn’t get what they expected. Sad and vicious cycle here that will be carried into your marriage if marriage is your end goal.

    I know it's supposed to be candid and crass even. But the sex information seemed antiquated and the men too chauvinistic. The way they talk about sex seems empty or missing.... Its odd listening to men, some who don't date black women and others who have clearly never been in love, speak on either. They aren't equipped to answer some of the questions posed. This series is still the only of its kind so kudos atleast for providing a public space for this dialogue. Considering the stress our community faces I hope to see more honest AND uplifting content.

      Caroline Taiwo The questions were our views on the physical aspects on sex not the emotional, not from our partners perspective, not from a relationship standpoint but as a guy who has had sex. It was surface level at best since there were more questions than time. Many of you are looking for depth from 5 individuals with numerous questions in 12min..thats kind of hard to produce and there are edits ..I ask you keep that in mind

    I can see some of these "debates" turning a bitter woman even more bitter with facts to support her bitterness. lol
    Communication is key period. Learn your man and do without being asked as long as he is doing the same.
    These men are not "your" man so its not even worth taking personal or literal. The detail is irrelevant, Its comedy more than anything else. lol

    A lot of you are judging a book by its cover, would you have preferred something scripted with a bunch of things you wanted to hear?. This is guys being asked about certain things and engaging in guy talk about it. Obviously it is edited so you are getting the more animated segments. If you wanted something more politically correct we apologize we were told keep it real. It is insightful to see how certain women react to real unadulterated talk ..makes you understand why some brothers always keep up an act or front.?

      +Charma Cain The topic was male turn-on's and turn-off's. It had nothing to do with what a particular woman may like or dislike, because it was about what men liked. The topic wasn't about women's dislikes, so why bring them up?
      Would it make sense if you were talking with your girls, mentioned you like to cuddle after sex, and then some dude busts in and goes "But not all men like to cuddle!!!"

    Everyone has a right to their opinions and although I don't agree with everything that they are saying I respect their opinions. Personally I felt the different levels of maturity and immaturity within this conversation. I would have enjoyed seeing more diversity in the ages of the men and different relationship status. A man in his 60's is/may have a different opinion then a man in his 20's/30's.

    Thanks for sharing your opinions. Sex is special and should be shared in marriage; That way you can explore each other. I wish I can find men on the internet who cherish the idea of sex. It is physical, it is emotional, and their are risks. To sleep with a woman in order to get to know them is, I'm sorry for being direct, stupid. You said it. Communication is better in any type of relationship. It's the key to a good relationship. Start talking.

    This was weird as hell.
    1. The young guy seems to hate himself, hate his mom and was so easily excited to 'boast' about how he 'normally' dates White women than he was to talk about his experience w/ Black women, it was strange.
    2. A second guy said he "obviously" has predominately dated White women. But what's obvious about that -- or why would it be?
    3. Would you get a study group together intended to discuss iPhones only to have half the room discussing the health benefits of bananas? Why was half this room there?
    4. Whomever was paid by Madame Noire to scout these guys did a totally sloppy job at selection.
    5. I didn't finish the video halfway through.

You are eavesdropping so to speak on guys speaking honestly on a variety of things so that you can see and learn from how guys think and what we like and want to hopefully be able to relate and communicate with us more effectively. It wasn't an assessment of what we brought to the table when dealing with women. Different guys giving viewpoints on different subjects whether you can take something from it or not is on you

    I really wanted to know if they talk to their partners BEFORE sex? The guy who was talking about a scenario where black women can't stay in the moment is a good example of where you could literally have a great time in bed if yall go in with the knowledge of what both of you find comfortable, what you want to try, and what's off-limits altogether. Assuming he's slept with more than 200 black women would make his generalization valid by 2%...but I doubt that (for medical reasons-- not trying to put doubt in your manhood).

    Sisters... please don't be mad at them. Yes some of their comments were dumb, weren't true and not a true reflection of how every black woman is, but it's their experiences and we have to remember that we have a stereotype and a lot of us live up to it. which is why they said some of the things they did. black women aren't noisy in bed? black women say don't go too deep? (maybe because it hurts dumbo).. But I can't be mad, it's enlightening to hear a man's perspective sometimes.

We out number men so if you are holding out for a black man while they're totally fine with looking elsewhere that's a shame. There are gorgeous men in other races that would treasure everything about you including your black culture. That doesn't mean you abandoning your people. Do you and be happy. There's nothing wrong with seeking happiness. Asians, Latino, White, Arab...etc.

    Wearing a head scarf is part of a typical black woman's nighttime hair moisture protection routine. To make this an issue is ridiculous. I just go to bed wearing sexy Afro and lip gloss, smelling good and naked, then after the horizontal mambo, I gets up and go to the restroom to commence to tying my Afro! There are beautiful scarfs out there, and if your man finds you beautiful without a scarf, trust he'll find you just as beautiful wearing a scarf!

      These types of conversation between men unfortunately paint a perverse picture of women. I would say that if you are sharing information regarding the opposite sex in an open forum that you feel would benefit women, there should be a level of tact. Even if it regards a sexual nature.Unfortunately, the crude humor, back-handed compliments (regarding the woman's body)and wise cracks weren't insightful. It just came across crass. I expected a more mature conversation. Because there is a place for locker room male bonding... in the locker room.

    It's crazy to me how many women will come on here and comment negatively towards black men being honest but then will expect to continue to receive honesty or anyone willing to work with you at all. furthermore....it's crazy how this channel will talk about deeper issues like the destruction of the black family and I don't see any women commenting in those sections....there's a brother who commented on here about being a 25 year old virgin and some women's unrealistic ideas about men and sex and he was totally ignored, but you will give attention to the brothers that are talking negatively with you. lastly....I am a living example of what's really going on...the destruction of the black family is almost complete...I had a family and never cheated, loved my family and put them first. but because I wanted a black family I overlooked my partners mental issues in the sense I thought me being the leader I can help through expensive counseling, spiritually, healthy living, eating etc...and in the end it was her puppeteer mother and her own deep seeded issues that undid everything. I was faithful, I don't make 6 figures but I work hard, our videography company she'd put down even when we landed people on 106th and park, she would never motivate me....she would call white doctors geniuses in front of me but would never give me credit when I was able to debunk some of their misinformation...I studied feverishly about health and nutrition so our son could benefit and she'd still go take him to McDonald's...I was raised by a single black woman and NEVER dated or of my race...my mom and father are black and even though my father was dark I turned out light....however I love darker women despite the stereotypical idea of what "light skinned niggas like"....I am the guy that would shame their friends for dating outside their race...but just like the 25 yr old virgin that posted earlier a lot of women will ignore this posting as if men like me don't exist and that's one of the reason their are no more men like me...we get no support at all.

      +Adonnis Graves I'm sorry about your situation. Going through something like you have went through had to have been that much harder without support. I don't want to seem harsh but maybe the lack of support comes from the type of people you surround yourself with. One of my strategies in life is only associating with people that I feel will be there when it counts, now everybody has not always measured up to that standard but that's out of my control. I really hope everything works out for the best and you don't let this experience make you bitter or change you for the worst. Know that there is someone out there in the universe sending positivity your way.

      Samantha Thomas-Pankey Thank you for taking the time out to read my post and respond...grammatical errors and all lol. You're right...although I'm not one to surround myself with the wrong crowd...I was one to be loyal to a fault even if it meant losing myself in the process...because I thought you do that for your family. I learned and I am fighting daily to not let this affect me in a negative way...I'm getting there though, and I do appreciate the people that have reached out.

    Should your man for whatever reason is starting to become bored, you need to stir it up and surprise him with new techniques. Although not for all of us, read Jevie Hindlerg's stuff for some non-traditional but very fun techniques.
