Thanks for the video. Nice to know it is seems easy enough when things are done correctly. QUESTIONS: Can you skip versions? So, if I have v1.11, can I install v1.17 or do I have to upgrade each one in order? Also, if I upgrade to v1.17 and want to revert to a lower version, can the software for say v1.15 override v1.17? Not familiar with how Nokta software works, so it would be nice to know.
@@karenwisusa6258 Hey Karen, happy to be of help. Yes you can skip versions you should be able to go right to 1.17. and yes, I believe there are older versions available and you should be able to revert back to older updates. Their website may be able to confirm that better than I can. -Chris
Write the Settings down on Paper. The recommendation is that you must do a Factory Reset and Reset the User Profiles. That is two separate steps. Then you have an as new machine as shipped by the factory with a clean but new operating system. Then put your custom setting back in.
thanks, I wish my download went as smoothly... I'm using an Apple MacBookPro and I keep getting the message that ...USB accessories disabled...unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices... huh??? I have never downloaded a new version and have the originall 1.11 Anyone know what the heck I'm doing wrong? There is nothing else plugged into my computer...thanks!
@@drespo-oe9hr sorry I wish I could be of more help. If I'm being honest I had difficulty my first go around too and I was on windows which was what they recommended but it may be some type of antivirus or pop up blocker you have set up. Again, sorry to not be of more help and good luck

So if you have a Chromebook with a Google operating system you are SOL? You can only update with a Mac or Windows operating system?
@@Randy-ul5hy hey. Been a while since Ive updated but yes I believe so.
Do I lose all my saved settings after the update?
@@JoJo-ps4ml I'm not sure but regardless you should do a factory reset after updating.
