I know what you mean. I'm in all the Deus II and manticore groups on Facebook and I have neither lol. Never know when you might get the opportunity though. Heck if I go in the pawn shop and see a Deus II for a $100 you know the sucker is coming home with me 😂
@@TheTexanDetector I hear ya there.. I would like to give the Manticore a good try out . But spending that much more cash on a detector would not do me any good money wise
FYI: I ran into a glitch! Am running Win 11. Earlier I updated to 1.13, no problem. When I tried to upgrade to 1.15, the program would not load and run. My wife and I fought with it. My wife (bless her) discovered that a Win 7 driver (that was provided) was needed. Viola! I have 1.15 "Beast Mode" installed!!
True in some cases the drivers are needed. In my experience on Win10 as long as you make sure your drivers are up to date prior to downloading to upgrade you can just hit run. Good point though. Glad you brought this up it may help others having the same issue.
I upgraded to 1.15, tried it twice (total 5 hours). Now I am back to 1.13. I didn’t find crap and it was very unstable, when I out the dt to 3 it became better but still 1.13 seemed to me much stable.
Really most people say 1.15 is more stable. I didn't really notice any difference as my machine has always been pretty stable. I guess it may come down to the conditions where you hunt. Hey I always had great luck with 1.13 so if it works for you keep on keeping on lol. Happy hunting!
Well the good news is Andy said the newer speakers are much better. I blew my speaker out last year. Haven't had an issues since. Seems the original speakers had a hard time with pitch tones and that's what beast mode uses. I don't think I'll really use beast mode, but I do like the DT feature.

Beast mode blew out my speaker in 1.14. Its now at the service center in Missouri hopefully to be fixed. May just keep at 1.13 when returned.

Try the beast mode in the tot lots I was able to get closer to the equipment
