I broke all of my metal tabs by tightening top much I think Haha. Good videos, keep them up, rare to see X1 Vids or modding support, heck even finding ways to work on them!

rainmouse2 😂 man that sucks! Did you have to replace the whole plastic housing? Funny thing is thata exactly why i decided to start making videos about the x1. Didnt find any videos on youtube, or a dedicated channel to it. Glad to see its helping other x1 owners out 😁👍🏾. Thanks for the support of the channel!

Hey just got a 2017 preowned low miles X! a few months ago - love it. Now would love to see oil change, I can't see the oil filter at all. It's insane.

Wes Simpson congrats on the f48 x1 😁👍🏾! So the x1 you have is completely different and redesigned compared to mine. Do you have the 28i model?

So i was a bit confused too when i first bought my x1 😅. First time owning a bmw lol. So right uptop, if you are looking down directly at the engine bay, to the right kinda midway, there is a matte black cap literally next to the engine cover. That will be your oil filter. If you still have a hard time finding it, message me on IG-@ Jonsantiagoraw_e84 and ill send you a pic 😁👍🏾

How often do you recommend changing the cabin filter? Mine is at 55k KMS.

Those filter will last a good time. So i would say anywhere between 40k-50k miles 😁👍🏾

Is this the same for 2018 x1?

Just did my wife’s. It is located under the passenger side glovebox in the 2018. Replace once a year or every 20k miles.

@@BrewReview did you do a DIY (do it yourself) video on your wife's 2018? Thanks for the videos. So helpful. BMW quoted me at $211.00 crazy

Saw another video, looked to be a a real PITA job. Not much room to manipulate the installation of filter under the glove box. The $200 might be worth it.
