Can you connect your xbox more directly to your battery? Because both works with 12volts. I mean, that should skip power losses of the inverter

also while looking for that in your comments and saw a guy who thought this might hurt the alternator, any idea why that is?
1. Console should go under the seat next to the ac vent.
2. Alternator always works pushing out 14.4v and the limit is 140w for most cars. Person might be thinking alternator works harder than usual, but I believe it's the auto 12v battery that's spending cycles.
I got a Ford Taurus show with RCA jacks, I installed a mirror cast type system started making my screen go screwy did you have this issue although two different things here?

He probably have the HDMI video output on and you're going to need to reset your screen module for the lower resolution
So as long as it has an aux setting in the car the picture will always pop up on the infotainment system regardless of make or model?
Not necessarily. Some cars will have this as a feature in the manual

usually the ps4 uses about 150 watts while playing, so you’re gonna want ab a 750 watt inverter or more, just depends on how much wattage you’re gonna get through the usb

It really depends on what you’re looking for. Camry has a nice and aggressive stance, but rides a bit harder than the Accord. Accord is a more conservative look and rides probably the most comfortable. The most fun to drive would be the Mazda 6 by a long shot. Given I want comfort in a Sedan, I’d probably go Accord.

There's a lot of feed back coming thru the speakers did you ever figure out where the neutral leak was or was it getting feedback from inside one adaptors
I needed to put a ground loop isolator. That would remove the noise.
imma build a mini itx pc and im saving for a tesla touch screen for my mustang, anyways boyyy its gonna be great, 4k screen, pc built into the mustang, clean cable management etc. (2012 mustang)

It has to be a monitor meaning if u can play dvds in your car this will work it is the cheapest way I did this year's ago.

If it's standalone yes. If it's connected to a car battery, it might overload the battery. 200 to 400w is safe for a car battery
i thought the max a car lighter could do is 150 watts? most invertors 400+ say they cant run thru the carlighter as it maxes at 150, they suggest clipping it to the battery.
Maybe it depends on the car. I was able to run this just fine on a road trip

So the xbox power brick outputs DC into the xbox but takes AC from the car inverter... Is there a way to not run the xbox power brick and run the xbox straight from the car DC output? (or van in my case) Just seems pointless converting it from DC to AC and then back to DC
Problem is that the power supply of the xbox changes the ac to dc but the xbox components dont just run off of 12v. Some use less voltage so running it directly off of 12v would fry the xbox.

If it's under 200w continuous, it would work. I think anything over 400w would be too powerful unless you get a secondary battery (or a portable power station!)

I have an F350 with ac 110v 150w plug in and AV plug ins with a screen in the console. I can play game and hear sounds but not video comes up. HELP ME!!!!
Consoles run near 250 continuous watts, like me if you have an actual tv installed in your car and xbox1. Your power inverter will need rated at least 500 watts. And you will want the pure sine wave inverter, so not to damage your electronics. Sounds to me you are under powering your set up. If your going to run a game console theres a few options. #1 get a quality power inverter that connects directly to your battery with fuse protection & low battery shut off. Almost any inverter between $100 & 200 will have all safeties. #2 depending on how much gaming you plan on you can even have a second deep cycle battery installed just to run consoles. Basically anything drawing under 90 amps don’t really need engine on. But over 100 - 150 watts you want a decent inverter. But anything over that you will need a quality power inverter with all the bells and whistles, direct battery connections, even as far as a separate generator to keep secondary battery always charged.

What is your inverter plugged into? You mentioned that the xbox plugs into the inverter but you never show how youre actually powering the xbox.
Inverter is plugged into the 12v cigarette lighter.

If it's a recent LED TV, then yes. Older LCD TVs consume way more power.

My 2016 Chevrolet Traverse has AV hookups. I'm trying to hook up my Xbox. Which converter do I need? AV to HDMI or HDMI to AV. It's kinda confusing on amazon.

I have not done this myself yet, but you'd plug your tv/monitor to the power inverter and the console to the inverter as well. most inverters have at least one power outlet, but if you need to add more, get a power adapter ($4 at Lowe's)

A truck's battery itself is made to handle household appliances without adapters . Now connecting it on the screen I'm not sure . I ran a PS4 and a 32 inch in my Kia 2016 .Played a couple games and even updated some apps , good luck 👍

Those are usb powered. Leave everything in the center console and power hdmi/av device and console from a usb plug. Controllers can run out of the center console

If it has factory HDMI port in there, yes. However, you'll need the "video in motion" module added in to play on the screen while driving.
