an optima battery is wat yu will need my friends. its the highest tier battery that is a gel based battery which slows down the electricity usage by a large percentage. its around $300 at Advance auto, but its worth the money. thank me later🤙🏿.

I kinda have the same set up but I have a 750 watt inverter. I cannot get my power to stay on longer than 2 hours. It just keeps cutting off unless I have car running. Any help?
I would be worried about a hard drive in the ps4 failing after hitting too many bumps in the road. Easy fix would be an ssd. Problem is a big one would be expensive. Also ps4 in a car and a monitor makes it something someone would want to steal.

But you can certainly play while the car is parked with the engine running! if you really wanted to not have the car running, you could set up an extra battery in your car, solely for the ps4, which charges up while the car is running but is only used/depleted by the ps4.

not long, like 20-30 minutes, standard car batteries are not designed for heaps of capacity but rather to draw heaps of power to start the car. if the dream is playing while the car is not on, look in to setting up a circuit with a deep cycle battery and switch. when the car is on it charges your deep cycle battery, and when you draw power for ps4 it only takes it from the deep cycle battery.

I will work on a less temporary fitting solution if I decide to keep the tv in there permanently. I'm not so sure about the inverter under the seat, I've got enough cable length but I'm concerned about air supply :/ thanks for the time in making your comment and appreciate the support!
yup it will run infinitely, the car will generate enough electricity while it's on. To be safe, you can turn off the ps4 10mins before you arrive at your destination; just to ensure the car generates some power to charge your starter battery- and so you will be able to start the car back up!

Have a spare battery at the ready to jumpstart or even run directly from the spare battery so you dont run the risk of draining your cars battery.

you can have it going for a bit when the engine is off as it runs off the battery, but your running engine charges up the battery
